What about the exhaust???? With out a proper DP you can’t move beyond Stage 1 I also recommend upgrading the shifter, and the transmission mount (first, then the other two as well)... gear changes at high rpm will appreciate it
Question: 22 psi, same I do with mine (Stage 3+, k04 too... don’t like to think about destroying hardware) At high rpm what’s the lowest PSI your setup maintains? Mine is Gen2 and the Hoodscoop from Corksport actually works around this area
Don't worry haha, been there done that. Driven multiple Speed's, i'm aware of the platforms & been through many different setups. She maintains about 20PSI.
@@ColtonRichter lol fair enough. I'm thinking about upgrading my 6 and I'm wondering if i should go your route or get a front mount. Have to see how much of a difference it'll be hp/tq wise compared to price lol
@@ColtonRichter*which equals more hp and torque.. *And will continue making more hp and torque when the stock would have gotten heat soaked long before..
Hey Colton i love your Channel. I’m thinking of buying a 6 mps for 12k Aud with 130,000kms on it it has the stage 2 making 230kw at the wheels on 22 psi but he also has a 14psi mode. I really love it but not sure if I should buy it for some daily use ??? (Ur gonna have to do some metric conversions for This comments 😂😂)
Take it to a shop and get it inspected first. Make sure compression test is done aswell. Should only cost $90 bucks but it's worth your peace of mind. Also I'd try talking down the price
Geronimo Jr he has spent over 30k in mods. The bloke has re inforced every week pount in the car. Such a smart guy and also it is in Australian $$ so would be less in American if u are from there . And yep the only Thing I would get inspected is just the compression before I buy. Everything else is amazing
Check the important things obviously, but if you can handle the fuel consumption then I don't think it will hurt. Lots of people daily their Speed's making more power and they don't complain! 🙃
Yes, it has Autotech HPFP internals. You won't get anywhere without them, don't bother touching anything else on your car until you've done a set. It sucks you don't get anything out of it, but it's either you blow up or you don't!
Colton Richter okay thank you I haven’t done anything to it yet just been following your channel with what your doing and needed to know what to start with first for getting more fun out of the car
if my car has 85k miles on it, assuming the k04 hasnt been replaced and has same amount of miles, can i still add engine modifications or can the turbo not maintain the new amount of airflow since its old and high miles? (regular oil changes etc pretty well maintained car)
When I installed my 3.5 htp intake my mazda didn't like it and wouldn't idle properly so I thought you had to get them mapped to tell the car it has that intake?
Ya look up purple drank they have pretty cheap retuning options for if you end up doing a bigger turbo after its tuned or fuel upgrades etc its only like 75 to retune
When you're shopping, or describing something in the title of a video, then there's stages. You won't put a list of mods in the title, or in your AP tune title. Stage's exist, yes I know it hurts a lot of people but it's easier to describe in some senses.
Agreed, stages are ricer nonsense. Does Stratified call it a "stage II tune', no your tuned for the mods not stages. It was the accessport that caused all this stage nonsense.
