The rogue damage control agent's prejudice was giving me setting up the world for the X-Men vibes the whole episode. That's definitely coming back. I really liked this series overall and I'm absolutely fine with her being a Mutant, since she probably would have been originally if it wasn't for corporate Marvel attempting degrees of managed decline on the X-Men and Fantastic Four brands out of pure spite for FOX, since they just saw pushing them as free ads for movies they couldn't make lmao.

This was a great finale. The assignment of this show was to introduce Kamala and our world mission accomplished.

This finale was solid, easily better than most other MCU series finales. You were a bit overly critical tbh. Smaller stakes are better, we don’t need world ending threats every time. Kamala described her power as an idea come to life, so when she envisioned herself embiggen, it happened. They confirmed that Kamala is a mutant. Kamran lashed out at police, almost killed a crowd of innocent people, & can’t control his powers, of course he’d be afraid of never being normal again & not accepted anymore

Best family dynamics in the MCU, hands down. Of course she’s a mutant. This way they don’t have to try to get Medusa’s hair to work on screen for a while yet. And she doesn’t need a giant teleporting dog. For those underwhelmed by her adversaries, in the comic her first enemy was a giant cockatiel and his army of brainwashed grade school kids. This is MUCH better.

the thing with Ms. Marvel is...she couldve easily been a mutant in the comics. when she made her debut it was at a time where Marvel films and Fox were rivals. Marvel comics decided they werent going to make new xmen characters...so fox couldnt use them in the movies. They then realized Inhumans were very simular. so pushed the spotlight on them. Created the Terrigon mist story to create new inhumans out of the blue, did several series and attempted a tv show. So Ms. Marvel was created as a result. If Marvel decided to not do that....and she was still created....she wouldve been a mutant

The end there is both a reference a mini reference to when Kamala shapeshifts into Carol and the other is the one with an older Captain Marvel(Mar-Vell) who was stuck in a different dimension and his Sidekick had bangles that when he cling them together they would switch places. I think the MCU version tho is that Carol most likely found the other bangle and when she touched it it cause her to switch places with Kamala. Now I think Carol will reunite with Monica and then together they go back in space to find Kamala wherever Carol was. Kamala could be in somewhere dangerous

I thought this episode was an excellent culmination of a series I have really enjoyed. I really liked how "team Kamala" assembled in the school. The moments with the mom and dad paid off the great family development throughout the show. Kamala "growing" into her powers and acting with more confidence felt well executed and well earned to me. I am going to really enjoy rewatching the show, and I look forward to seeing all of these characters in more Marvel shows and films.

Here's a little ditbit, because Inhumans were'nt widely known about, for the longest time Kamalah assumed that she was a mutant. It wasn't until later that she realized that she was an Inhuman after being discovered by a member of the Inhuman Royal Family

The directing in this episode was great. The camera angles and spin shots were stellar. Kamran has shot down a drone, caused a stir in the subway, had been on the run defending himself against the DODC & had thrown that cop car almost hitting the crowd. He was referring to all that when he felt like they'd never forgive him

Ms. Marvel big reveals 1. Kamala is the first official mutant character in this show and one of the biggest mcu change in history. 2. Mutants are now coming to the mcu and the biggest revelation ever in mcu history. 3. Captain Marvel cameo and she switched places to Kamala. 4. The Marvels is a new Marvel film that is about Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica/ Photon team up. 5. X men 97 theme song background when Bruno say "like a mutation".

I actually liked this episode. I'm a sucker for friend and family dynamics and over the series I got so attached to most of the characters. it was just nice to have everyone together again. I do wish the show was longer, what am i gonna watch now that it's gone? I can't rank the episodes, I just enjoyed all of them so much. The series made me so happy what more can I ask for?

Wow you really missed the biggest point of the episode with Kamala being called a mutant. This last episode pulled the BIGGEST stop of any marvel show. This was Sooo important

This episode was my favorite personally. I loved a lot of things about it such as that Kamala got her suit and her name, that she used the word enbiggen as a nod to the comics, and that the team got together. By far the best moment though was when they revealed that she is a mutant!!!!!

Yay for getting it uploaded! Happy for you that you managed to get this behind you. Hope you feel less stressed now! Sad you didn't like the finale though. I loved this throughout. I do hope it gets a season two though. Part of me wish they'd stayed in NJ for the first season and then maybe explored the Pakistan lore in a second season. Sadly, they pushed it through as a limited series so they had to fit it into 6 episodes. That might have hurt it a bit. Kamala being a mutant is huge though. I'm really quite pleased they went in this direction for her. The big Inhumans push was about not having the rights to the mutants for TV and movies. Now they have the rights back thanks to the Fox purchase going straight to mutants makes more sense. Ranking: 1) WandaVision 2) Ms Marvel 3) Hawkeye 4) Loki 5) Moon Knight 6) What If...? ... ... 7) Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Best series so far honestly i actually was happy with this ending compared to other finales…ps the weapons that they use on them are what they would use on Hulk to try n settle him down

Actually, the comic book creator has went on record in interviews recently stating Kamala was always intended on being a mutant but feared Fox would have gotten involved. Thus, she became an Inhuman. Remember this was 2014 and Marvel did not own the word mutant anymore, Fox did.

Great reaction Monica! One thing people miss in this episode about Zoe. If you remember in ep 1, after Kamala saves Zoe, Bruno runs & helps Kamala get up & out, Zoe saw that. And I think she put it together while being interrogated by the DODC . If I'm not mistaken the 2 were childhood friends - which is why her mom didn't hesitate to let her go to Zoe's party. Zoe (still being a friend) kept Kamala's secret.

I didn't have the same reaction as you to this episode it made me feel all gushy on the inside, thought it was a great ending. I guess if I was being more critical I could've found the same faults but I really enjoyed it. Even when she's getting around using her powers u were thrown off by the CGI but I thought it looked really cool! Love that's she's a mutant (not into Inhumans so glad they switched that)! I really hope there's a 2nd season!! Enjoyed watching along with u! Too bad u didn't have the same enjoyment for this last episode but it's still fun hearing ur thoughts.

Inhumans only got the push they did because of Disney not having the film rights to mutants and wanted a similar group to be able to use for the MCU eventually. If they’d had their current control of the X-Men film rights the Inhumans never would’ve gotten the push over the past dozen years they did. The X-Men with some help from Spidey literally kept Marvel in business during the 80’s and 90’s. The popularity of the X-Men and by extension mutants is SO far beyond Inhumans that it’s main stream. Many non comic book readers will be familiar with mutants in regards to Marvel, because of the X-Men. Inhumans? Not so much. Tying Kamala to characters like Wolverine and Storm will do much more to popularize her amongst non comic reading fans than tying her to Blackbolt and Medusa. It’s the smart move to make. It allows them to feature Kamala in the MCU X-Men when that comes.

I agree with Monica. This episode felt all over the place. I did like finally seeing her use her powers for more than just shields and stepping stones. Lots of unanswered questions, especially with the end credit scene. What power made them swap, and why?

What if the Terrigen mist accident already happened? Just like MCU didn't show Peter getting bit by radio active spider..... they are doing the same with her ! She might not know that the mist unlocked her powers & in future they might trace her powers to the terrigen accident ! Also she's a HUMAN MUTATE & Charles Xavier might help her. There are different kind of mutations ! Like Radioactive Mutation, Gamma mutation, Inhuman Mutation & X gene mutation. In Spider- Man the animated series Spidey goes to Charles Xavier cause he was MUTATING into a six legged monster. Charles accepted anyone who had been mutated by accident or born with X Mutant gene in his school and teach them how to control their powers. Also character like Hulk, Spider-man etc who got their powers later by accident rather than being born with it are known in the comics as MUTATES ! Charles has X-men members who aren't even Mutants for EG. Quick Silver, Longshot, Hepzibah, mimic, ink, warbird etc.

Very surprised you didn’t like the finale as much. Most people, including me, loved it and felt it was an amazing way to lead the character into something new. Low stakes doesn’t mean no stakes, most people didn’t like when it was getting into world ending stuff and prefer the kamran and dodc threat which feels more on par with her experience in fighting. Kamran wasn’t only feeling guilt for what he has done now, but was guilty for following his mother his whole life in this way. Also even though there was less animations specifically in this episode then episode one and two, the directing style is still the same. It’s still very vibrant and quirky and down to earth. I suggest rewatching the episode knowing what’ll happen instead of having a preconceived thought based on the directors. It’s probably my favorite finale of the mcu.

OK, theory time I think they might merge inhumans and mutants into one thing They'll use the name Mutants, have the randomness of mutants (since they're just random powers unlocked during puberty whereas inhumans in more about ancestors) but then have the backstory of inhumans since that dismembered hand was still blue like the kree

She isn't a Inhuman in the MCU she is just a Mutant. Kevin Feige confirmed this since the original creator of Ms. Marvel's comics said she always wanted her to be an Mutant.

According to the comics, Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel team up a LOT. Like it’s pretty normal. So the marvels could have Kamala, Carol, and Monica!

The whole Disney vs Fox ownership of the term "mutant" really turned it into a circus, but it didn't have to be that way. They could have still followed the Agents of SHIELD version of Inhuman and Kree storyline and continued that into the main MCU. Although they can make this a mutant thing, and pretty much bury the Inhuman terrigen mist, that's just a storyline call. They could have kept both. Monica Rambeau had her DNA rewritten by Wanda's Hex Magic, and Carol Danvers by the Tesseract. Kamala could have still had the Inhuman genes that were activated by the Bangle. And then separately the X-Men can be mutations without any outside influence. In fact the mutation origin is the most random, that just some humans have different DNA. Storyline wise it makes more sense to write in an outside influence and humanity is just regular humanity. Marvel and even DC have always been all over the place with their power origins, but you don't have to REPLACE origins, just go with it! That's my only rant, otherwise I LOVED this series, another banger for Marvel/Disney+ and great lead in to The Marvels!

She is a polymoph...they tend to be rare in the MCU...the most well known is Mr Fantastic from the Fantastic 4

Quick note, the MCU shows have had a couple 8 episode series but they've always had shorter episode runtimes. That means all the shows have pretty similar quick runtimes. Also The Marvels is just the sequel to Captain Marvel but instead of saying part 2 it's two Captain Marvels and two Ms Marvels so The Marvels. While I really loved the opening visual style of the early episodes I felt like it was deliberate. At the start she's busy daydreaming and honestly not focused on who she is. When she starts getting superpowers she doesn't have to imagine things anymore since it's real life. The thing that clinched it for me is in the first episode her blackboard drawing is far away from reality. She's in a better suit, she's jumping off buses instead of losing her bike, and reality falls short of her dreams. But in the last episode the blackboard plan is what happens in real life, arguably less exciting even. So instead of daydreams of Captain Marvel she's using her own powers to be a superhero in real life. Even her first public rescue she had this aside where she's imagining how social media will react, this time she's watching the reactions afterwards.

Great finale. Great show.

The only Marvel show that has completely faceplanted on the finale IMO has been Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I think Ms Marvel does suffer from the 6 episode format when it comes to pacing and set-up, but overall I've really enjoyed it, and it is somewhere in the top 50% for me.

Yeah, they needed to make Damage Control a more present threat if that was the finale villain. The drone blew up the Circle Q and nothing was mentioned about that. I’m not sure how Aisha l, mutants, and the veil are supposed to be connected. Najima acted like she knew what was on the other side but if Aisha and Kamala are mutants, they aren’t aliens.

I feel like it's a solid episode but... It's as if they cut an episode out. IF, episode 5 ends with a cliffhanger of, for example, Najma kidnapping Kamalas mother to force her to open the veil. The new episode 6 has Kamala coming up with a plan while Kareem and the Red Daggers(we should see OTHERS here now so there are more then just the 2 of them) try to convince her to sacrifice her for "the cause" but he eventually comes around and they have a new "face-off" with the Clandestines. Perhaps the Red Daggers insist that Kamala sacrifice her mother for the cause. They then grow restless with Kamala, calling her a Clandestine herself as she just wants to open the veil now. Believing that they never should have helped her in the first place. They might fight at this point but either way, Kareem sides with Kamala to help her. Epsiode 6s B-Plot brings up Kamran on the run from Damage Control to keep them as a background threat for the finale. While also giving us a bit of what Kamran is feeling after being abandoned by his mother. We also don't forget about New Jersey... Bruno and Nakia talk about Bruno knowing about Kamala, mixed in with some more Highschool stuff to double back on Kamala in Ep1 not knowing what she wants to do with her life, which builds her having personal stakes now. During the back and forth we ALSO have Najma and Muneeba talk and we get more of Najmas backstory while Kamalas mother gets to hear a bit about her own family as well. This new episode 6 finishes with essentially the same way that 5 did but this time we get Kamala with her own "defining moment" to be a super hero.... we continue with the same cliff-hangar of Kamran seeking out Bruno... only THIS time, Najma has likely talked more about him to either Muneeba or Kamala. We get to have a bit of a mothers talking about their kids thing here as well. Episode 7 then continues just as the actual episode 6 does... only this time we've actually got some more time with the villains and more time to setup the finale episode and actually learn something about what Najma and Kamran actually want and are feeling. Instead, it's as if they needed to cut an episode to make sure the series ends before ComicCon. Truncating the end of Episode 5 to be a finale fight and just rush a conclusion to the entire Noor Dimension arc. Seriously, Najmas turn was so quick, blink and you would miss it. Hell, if you didn't have captions on you might have missed that she flipped and now actually wants to close the thing now. It was what, 2 sentences total? Some of the best stuff about this series is the family relationships so I'm confident that, with enough time, they could have developed their villains as well as the heroes. It's just shame that they didn't and we're left with just sort of confusing villains. Alternatively, Najma could have stolen the Bangle for herself. Tries to use it, finds out that it won't work for her. Which then forces her to go back to Kamala... Or perhaps threatens to use it to destroy this world if Kamala doesn't open it herself. This COULD result in a situation where Kamala has to prove herself WITHOUT the bangle. Such as Spiderman (who's this Peter Parker guy?) does when he loses the Stark Tech suit. Unfortunately, loosing the bangles and "discovering the power inside herself" is likely a plot line they want to save for either the movie or a Season 2. Or even... I had thought that perhaps Najma had Kamran in an attempt to get him to be able to use the Bangle such as Kamala was able to. Essentially use him as a tool but Kamala sort of beats her to it... Instead, we don't really know at all WHY Najma actually HAD A CHILD when she was so determined to get back. How did THAT happen? Or hey... She steals the bangle and finds out that it doesn't work on HER but figures that it would work on Kamala AND KAMRAN... ONLY SHE'S ABANDONED HIM SO SHE CAN'T USE HIM TO OPEN IT. She's essentially sabotaged herself by leaving Kamran. Leading her to either force Kamala to do it but, maybe threatening her mother, or going back to Jersey to find Kamran (How did he even get back to New Jersey from wherever the damage control prison is?). We even get a comparison of Najma abandoning her child while Muneeba has embraced her own... sorta. This perhaps encourages her to embrace the superhero side of Kamala as she's faced with Najma who has abandoned her own child because he wasn't who SHE WANTED HIM to be. Solidifying Muneebas shift to accepting Kamala being a hero. One episode... give us ONE EPISODE MORE to flesh out villains and this finale wouldn't have felt as confusing and rushed as it seemed. And WITHOUT changing a single word in the final episode. ... That Partition stuff in Ep5 was SOO GOOD... and the fight was SOO RUSHED... And on the SHORTEST EPISODE as well... what a bummer.

She was always meant to be a mutant. The only reason she was made to be an inhuman in the comics was because at the time she was being created, Marvel had a feud with Fox over the X-Men , so they were planning to phase mutants out of the comics and have them replaced by the inhumans. It , therefore, made no same to make a new character as a mutant. Before the feud, the inhumans were mostly sidelined and of little importance. She would've been a mutant if not for that feud.

Loved the finale! I also haven't had a huge problem with any of the finales or overall series on Disney+ so far (minus some relatively minor gripes that didn't ruin anything, with the exception of one episode of What If...?), so bear that in mind. Ms. Marvel started out stupendously for me with the first two episodes, then took a dip with episode 3 (which is the only one I felt could have benefitted by being broken up into two, in addition to wishing it had been shot in a more dynamic style). But the Pakistan arc got it back on track for me, with 4's combination of cultural exploration and badass fight/chase scenes and 5's lyrical exploration of history and family. Then 6 came along and stuck the landing with embiggened feet! It was everything I love in her comics writ large on the small screen (did that make sense?). Kamala has cosmic roots in her origins in both versions, and she's certainly faced larger threats as an Avenger and Champion in the comics, but to me she's at heart a friendly neighborhood hero, defending her community from smaller stakes threats that FEEL larger because they're more personal. To save one life is to save the world. That's the heart of her character, so to defend and save Kamran...even from himself...is just as important as stopping some extradimensional invasion. And doing it alongside her best friends with the love of her family and faith behind her! With some goofball antics, plucky one liners, and heartfelt exclamations along the way. ;) Sorry it didn't work as well for you, but thanks as always for sharing your reactions and thoughts with us and inviting ours in return! A couple of things I'm sure others have already or will point out: The Marvels is the sequel to Captain Marvel coming out just over a year from now, featuring Carol, Kamala, and Monica. The bangle is likely the MCU's version of the Kree Nega-Band or Quantum Bands, both of which have been shown to have the ability to swap places with another person bound to them (usually the original Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell, and Rick Jones in the case of the former and both of the current Quasars with each other in the case of the latter). Also, Kamala's only an Inhuman in the comics (and cartoons and video games...). Here, she's a Noor/human hybrid who ALSO possesses the X-gene (if Bruno's word choice and the musical sting are to be believed and why wouldn't they be? Lol!). So no contradictions there.

The 6 episode format is a response to all of the crying about"Filler episodes that were the complaints of the Netflix Marvel shows(😄) Just imagine how much fleshed out(And not rushed)Moon Knight/Hawkeye/Ms. Marvel characters could've been...🤔

Kamala couldn't be the 1st Mutant because Pietro and Wanda were the 1st(Thanks to the Mind Gem bringing out their abilities)Then we got Wanda and Vision's twins and they technically America Chavez's origin makes her a Mutant as well(And we will be getting the OG Mutant Namor some day) Plus,I don't think that Bruno has access to the blood of the Djinn laying around to understand the attributes They could still make her Inhuman(Since the Kree Bangle could be the connection to the Inhumans in a backdoor sort of way) With her being the MCU's Teen Green Lantern would kind of suck if they were to introduce the New Mutant"Armor"down the line

Ms marvel started as a masterpiece but then the show really started to fall off but the ending was pretty nice and incredibly good i would say the best marvel mcu show ever in my opinion also really loved her character power change and her character was just really fun

Thank you for your honest opinion of the finale 🙌 I also didn’t think this finale was the best compared to other MCU shows. The CGI on Kamala’s powers just looked too fake and I didn’t enjoy it. Well done for still managing to upload the video 👏💗

Ironic that they are making Ms. Marvel a mutant, gather around those who want some comic book history. Long ago around early to mid 2010’s Marvel seem to have a huge push against X-Men and mutants and the rise of Inhumans. Many people guess this is because unlike the Marvel-Sony were they only have the movie rights to Spider-Man, Fox had a larger hold on the X-Men IP so people predict that Marvel comics doing less X-Men is because they wanted to shift focus on something they had full control on. That’s were the Inhumans came in, they a secret civilization of super powered people with the king Black Bolt. In the push to lessen mutants and give rise to Inhumans it was made that several people were actually descended from Inhumans and their powers activate when they are exposed to terrigen mist which was released all over the world. This gave several people normal people get super powers, that started a movement against all the Inhumans because of the sudden powers thing. If the prosecution of people with powers because of a gene in they never knew about sounds like the X-Men, it’s because it’s supposed to. Marvel basically tried to replace the X-Men, a very very very controversial decision that made a ton of people angry. Some were angry over replacing X-men, and some were just annoyed over how hard they were pushing the whole Inhumans thing literally being everywhere from most comics and an awful tv show. The only positive for the Inhumans push for most people was Ms. Marvel Eventually Disney bought Fox and the Inhumans went from biggest thing in comics back to where they were originally. Very ironic that Ms. Marvel came in the comics during a time where marvel lessen X-men and increased Inhumans, now after marvel regain full control of marvel and the backlash against Inhumans, Ms. Marvel is being introduced to the movie universe in a time where Inhumans are being lessened *insert MoM clip here* and X-Men are being build up for their introduction in the MCU

Wow I am surprised not only with your description of this episode, but also of the show overall. Go to any other RU-vid channel, or read online the reviews of Episode 6 and you'll see the positive comments and reviews which completely contradict your assessment. This was a GREAT show, and definitely top 2 or top 3 compared to the other shows on Disney Plus. The pros who know about Ms Marvel, and those of us who have become real fans, are very happy with episode 6 ,and I can tell you that almost everyone believes that the show nailed the landing at the end. The end was great, and the loop was properly closed given the limitations of 6 episodes from Disney +

Fun fact (I’m pretty sure lol): Marvel created the Inhumans to be a replacement X-Men type team back when they didn’t have the rights to the mutants. So technically, inhumans are still mutants anyway intention wise. Just found that out.

For all this series' perks, I agree Kamran's arc in this episode was very rushed. My one nitpick with this show, is how quickly Kamala could change Kamran and his mom's minds.

So you wanted the same visuals from episode one in a finale fight scene -lol It's about context they've used in scenes when needed. It wasn't needed in the last few episodes due to what was happening. When you focus on something that's not there you miss what's right in front of you. That camera shot of Kamran on the ground where it pans up from under the car was pretty sweet. This was one of the MCU shows where I believe they stuck the landing. Pretty much everything came full circle. As for the finale being confusing I personally don't see how it is.Youvcan scan the qr code in the episodes for more clarity -lol Kamran saying he's not normal is setting up mutants and the tension it will create between what people see as what normal is, hence damage control trying to capture them.

I don't mind blurry footage, it's youtube, not a show on Disney+ or Netflix. HOWEVER if it got on your nerves I have a solution. It's expensive, but come black friday (where it may be cheaper on a digital sale) if you get Topaz Video AI, you can AI upscale, sharpen, denoise/blur footage. You can even process footage to your original resolution and get things looking a little better. I have it, and I don't mind running the blurry footage for you as a test for you to see if it'd be worth the purchase if you want? Edit: Zoe knew because she films her TikToks in the theater and Kamala and Bruno practiced some of her powers backstage. This is where she may have seen her, but said nothing.

Actually Miss Marvel is going to be the first mutant we see not a inhuman. The whole point of the Inhumans was to be a replacement for the X-Men back when Marvel didn't have the rights but now they do.

Can I be honest? The whole “Ms Marvel being a mutant” doesn’t feel like they’re doing some big brained set up for mutants in the future nor are they doing it to further Kamala’s character and give her more depth. It feels like they did it for praise and reactions. Idk maybe it’s just me but it feels like they did it to silence the people that are calling it mid. Cause there’s no build up for that reveal, there’s nothing that hints at it in any of the episodes. They just name dropped mutations because they can.
