How crazy is that? Top tier receiver like that, been in league what 5 or 6 years and never played in the post season, that's crazy. Evans 1st round pick, Tampa's Qb the #1 pick, several weapons from the 1st round... all that and still couldn't even make a wild card.
Crazy I didn’t care much for mike Evans but he’s seems like a good dude, he was. Massive part of the success, I couldn’t imagine how bucs fans went from never making the playoffs to now SB and playoffs every year with the Goatman
Nothing random about it. That roster was great. Jameis Winston threw 30 picks and lost 5 fumbles. They still went 7-9. That roster just lacked an adult QB.
Not random. Great roster and coaching staff. Underrated city. No shocker really. I mean, it shocked me as a bucs fan considering the shit we've been though, but it made sense because he cares about winning above all else.
True I mean you’ll have people say ohhh they were soooo talented like yeah so is like 80% of teams in the NFL lol people talking about well they had Jamies Winston and went 7-9 like yeah exactly you had a number 1 overall pick at QB his 4th or 5th year in the league and went 7-9 lol so you stalled out the only way you’re going to get better is by changing the QB and the only way you’re going to win the superbowl your first year with that QB change is if the QB happens to be Tom Brady lol idk where people stand on Winston cause a lot of people think he can be great idk and honestly idc you can bring up how he had 30+ turnovers but he also had 30+ touchdowns and 5000+ yards so you can’t just hype him out without mentioning the bad and you can’t trash him without mentioning the good people are saying oh well you just needed to not throw as many picks as if to say you don’t need to be a top 5 QB in the league and the team would’ve been great still yet Brady only had what 15 total interceptions counting the regulars season and playoffs BUT HE HAD 50 TOUCHDOWNS LOL add to that I mean we have to admit Brady has to be one of if not the greatest leader of all time I’ve noticed a pattern with players usually not liking Brady thinking he’s like the golden boy and so he’s uppity or whatever but everyone of those guys who thought negatively about him go to play with him and they love him it’s the exact opposite of what they thought James Harrison being one of those guys that come to mind also even teams he plays against like the giants when they beat the 18-0 pats the d line after the game was like man that dude is tough he doesn’t quit he goes harder than anyone else on the field etc…etc….it’s bad enough that people still try to undersell the skills of a guy who has more rings than any other FRANCHISE in the NFL but they try to big up the pieces around him to knock him down or that’s how it comes across…even though we’ve seen him win multiple superbowls with a 7th round QB white dude as his number 1 receiver😂😂😂 Brady could’ve taken the 4 of us on this comment thread and won at least 1 Super Bowl 😂😂 that’s an exaggeration obviously but goddamn if he doesn’t make it seem possible so the fact that he finally has some help tells me nothing I knew how amazing he was just looking at what he did with so little and if you really know football man compare some of those Super Bowl winning patriot teams to like 90% of the other superbowl winning teams in history you take away the QB and you are going to almost always say well this team is definitely more talented and stacked than the team Brady had like it’s a joke it really is I just wanna know had Brady been able to have this level of talent around him for the entirety of his career instead of only a couple years here and there would he have 10? I mean it sounds ridiculous but so does 7😂😂
@@jordancave3089 I don’t think people mean it as a diss that Tom Brady has great players and coaches around him in Tampa. Brady knew it was a no brained to sign with Tampa. Great receivers, Defense with Great potential, and Great coaches.
This will never get old. Just like 28-3 and all the other amazing playoff stories he has in his 20 plus seasons. This will never get old , kinda like Tom Brady. 😂
@@fredfedups3903 Funny thing was it was before Trump was even President, he literally renounced Trump in his 1st year and they aren't friends anymore. All he was doing was supporting a friend and he did it very quietly at that. Then he went to social media and put that President on blast.
Patrick Mahomes has the potential to be one of the best QB in his era but GOAT. Till he surpasses the number of rings Tom has that ain't happening doesn't matter how many times he beats Tom in a regular season. Being great in a season is impressive but winning a superbowl counts.
Patrick Mahomes has been injured so much the last 2 years he's going to be like Cam Newton by the time he's 30, knee and legs knocked.out of joint, feet messed up, back messed up, head got knocked out
@@jumpforjoy6Nah, he saw what kind of woman she is. Her true colors came out and it would have been way worse to spend the rest of his life with somebody only to find out she isn’t worth it at the end.
@@WatchingWithMyEyesClosed it took him 15 years? Where she moved to freezing new england, went to all his matches, supported his career, did the majority of parenting etc, accepted that he had gotten somebody pregnant literally weeks before she started dating him and treated that kid like her own .. but suddenly she is a bad person...
@@jumpforjoy6 Hey bub you might want to listen to the phrase “till death do us part” you know what that means? And also most men retire in their 60s. But you’re not ready to have that conversation yet, child.
Tom Brady was never about throwing 350 yards in a game. He was always about WINNING. If that meant run it 50 times... that's what he did. If that meant throw it 50 times... that's what he did. He didn't care about his numbers. Just one number. Wins. And that's why it's amazing he has the career numbers he does. Imagine if he was like every other quarterback ever and just wanted numbers. He would have blown everyone else away... but he wouldn't have all those wins... all those championships.
What people fail to remember is that two of those offensive linemen were out WAAAAY before the playoffs. The Chiefs went 14-2 anyway and dominated the playoffs until the Big Game.
After the game Max made it ALL about how AMAZING and GREAT Mahomes played and about "2" INCOMPLETE passes by Mahomes...Dude did not score "1" SINGLE point the ENTIRE game
I grew up in Tampa. Was 4 or 5 when we won the first Super Bowl we have. Then I watched them be incompetent my whole life and even with Tom Brady I had doubts. And he fucking did it
@@Rosecain27 for some reason, for me there was no doubt in my mind he was going to win the SB with Tampa! And I’m not even a Tom Brady fan. But it was just so obvious for me. Tampa already had a half decent team, they just didn’t have a proper QB. The psychological boost they got from having Brady on their team was to much for the NFL to ignore.
Several of his Tampa teammates have come out and said Brady will be watching film and call them up when he finds something on tape he thinks will help them. You know damn well no other QB does that. Look at Rodgers, just signed that huge cap sucking contract... what happen.. He lost his #1 receiver. Mahomes signed his huge cap sucking contract... what happen... He lost his #1 receiver. Look at Brady... He's restructuring and taking less money all the time to not only keep his #1 receiver but to bring in more elite talent.
@@jennifermauk4165ya im a big Brady guy, and I agree. MAHOMES is the closest thing we've seen and I would say anybody playing with him has to have the confidence that they'll be 1 of the last 4 teams left when it's all said and done. That being said, HE'LL NEVER CATCH THE GOATTTTTTTT😂
Brady won 3 chips before losing a playoff game. Mahomes has lost twice in the playoffs to Brady, one of which was for the Lombardi....The only debate is who's going to be the second best ever. Mahomes isn't halfway there yet.
Exactly. And brady did it in 3 diff eras of football against the best of the best at those times. He already beat mahomes twice. No question he is above him. Throwing side arm doesn't give u the upper hand
Both Mannings, Brees, Elway, Favre, Montana, Rodgers, and a few others are all tied for second in my opinion. Mahomes is maybe a distant third right now, maybe.
Hard to have a debate show if everyone shares the same view lol. It's trolling. Shay knows Brady is the greatest ever. He just feels Rodgers and Mahomes are more physically talented, which is true, he just makes the mistake of betting based soley on that.
Just imagine if the roles were reversed and Brady and the Bucs were completely dominated like that, do you think these Brady haters would make the same arguments defending Brady like they are for Mahomes?
Of course NOT...They would have not given the Chiefs defense ANY credit at ALL...All of the PRAISE would have been on Mahomes....They would have gone absolutely BANANAS over Mahomes setting SB record for comp% in First half like Brady did also
But it didn’t happen😂 no need to question the hypothetical when you have reality right in front of you. Brady and the Bucs still would have beat Brees and Rodgers to make it to the Superbowl with his new team that was know as the losingest team in sports history.
They all knew the chiefs offensive line was injury prowned but yet they still picked the chiefs to win because they dont want to accept that brady is the undisputed goat of all time im jamaican and even i know that
3 times that season, Bucs were down 17-0. Won 2 of them, and just ran out of time VS Chiefs, and lost by 3. Tom is Frikin amazing. His Passion is contagious.
16/20 3TDs in the first half 👁️👄👁️ Oh and he scored in the first Quarter for the first time in 10 Superbowls. We seriously can't sleep on that crazy stat.
I owe Skip, my name is Thomas Patrick Brady and I grew up in Michigan and got a double signature autograph from Tom in 2000. I have dealt with a lot of TB12 haters over the years! Thanks Skip!!!
Yup. That's what I kept saying in the 2 weeks leading up to SB LV. Sure, the Chiefs are a great team with an amazing QB, and yes, they are favored to win, but if there is one thing I've learned over the past 20 years, it is DON'T BET AGAINST TOM BRADY!
Everyone in New England was cheering and jumping and proud and took that win with Brady and the Buccaneers. He’s the goat and he’ll always be our goat!!! Boston here.
Mahomes can never be considered the GOAT now. He never beat Brady in the postseason and was blown out in a Super Bowl with a poor performance, whereas Brady has never been blown out in a Super Bowl. Every game was close.
He decided his story needed one more sequel, and it turned out to be the best movie in the franchise yet. Went to a new team, the worst in the league for the last 10+ years, no training camp, no pre-season, and they won it all, at home. Unreal.
I don’t want to hear about a bad line. Tom’s line was so bad for 3/4 years, he was setting a record for how fast he got rid of the ball. That wasn’t an accident, he adjusted to his bad line. No other quarterback could’ve produced anything close to what Tom did for his last 3 years in New England.
Maholms will build his own dynasty. Can't you goofy ever just likes to play football and knows what he needs bc he is a winner person. Show much longer will it take for him to leave Michigan behind and realize he has learned how to play his game and teach his players what they need to do in order to accomplish what both persons what to do.
it is charisma his very presence raises the team by 80% mentally I remember when I played football (soccer) as an amateur in a small team one day we were joined by a veteran of the first professional league that season the team played like professionals we weren’t afraid of anyone, and everyone was trying to earn his presence on the team the team played 3x better as soon as he was on the field, even when he was on the bench and not playing.
Love how Max can't admit Brady is the G.O.A.T even after that masterful performance at SB LV. He wishes he could accomplish half of what Brady did at his age. Brady is a culture. Where he goes, winning follows.
This season, TB12 showed what a maverick he is. He comes to Tampa Bay, quickly integrates into their system, then contributes HIS system, then wins. That's, in a nutshell, what happened.
Brady knows anything is possible if you're willing to work for it. He refuses to give up and inspires everyone around them to never give up and work as hard as they can to make it happen. He is the REAL leader. He just proved it. There cannot be any doubt that Tom Brady is the GOAT. Quarterback, teammate, and leader. Plus he's a MICHIGAN boy. Fuck yeah!!!
I love these clips - sweet victory against the odds and talking head ( know nothings ) sweet and deserving to the fighters who never give up. Brady, the man! Todd Bowles incredible job on defensive strategy.
I never thought i would get to witness the Buccs win a superbowl in my lifetime after the 2002 run. Tears of joy during that entire game vs the Chiefs.
I lived in Boston all my life I moved to Florida 3 years ago Brady comes to Florida how lucky am I 😃I just can’t imagine the NFL without Tom Brady it will be a sad day when he decides to hang up the spikes!
When Mahomes wins six more Superbowl rings, including at least one leading a formerly D-grade team, then people can legitimately start the "possibly equal GOAT" discussion. Until then, there's nothing to talk about.
@@garrettharvey1853 It’s all the medias fault they get you sick of a guy after two seasons. Brady had won three Super Bowls back in the day and nobody was even talking about him. Lamar gets his team to the playoffs and it’s like he’s the second coming of Christ
People don’t get that these analysts are essentially reality tv hosts. They all know Brady is the best but they have to hype and pretend otherwise so it doesn’t get boring. “Hey guys! Brady is the best! No point in watching!” Doesn’t sell lol
Once Tom took over all those years ago in New England I knew he would do great things. The determination in his eyes has NEVER diminished. It was ALL Brady. Bill took a gamble on him, granted; however Tom WAS the system. The proof is in Bill’s record. Without #TheGOAT he has a losing record. With #TheGOAT he has a winning record. Now who made who? How many years did Bill intentionally give him tainted water and Tom turned it into fine wine. Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr is an anomaly. In his mind he’s still at draft day and has something to prove. The rest of us are like this man is incredible! What more can he do? His ONLY competition is himself. When he’s inducted into the HOF it will only be fitting to induct him by himself.
@@yolondambrowm9803 I have to agree, tom need an induction all by himself with his own wing, n they can waive the 5 year wait n put him in the day he retires
11:43 Yes. For me, yes. I never was a Brady fan, never willing to say he was the GOAT, but now I can't not say it. He put the matter to rest. Put it past discussion. He's it, at least for the first 100 years of the League.
It will be a really sad day when brady retires... He's pretty much the last of the old guard. The NFL is changing and it's likely we'll never see it again.
This was a HUGE time saver. - Thank you! (I especially like how it ended with Max Kellerman continuing to show the world that he alone holds the title of biggest horse's ass!)
@@akinasgreatest01 max, for insisting that the derp king Eli getting lucky on some dice throws to win the super bowl twice is more impressive than what Brady did, also that whole cliff thing
Wouldn't be confident in that assessment until he hits 65. Honest. So long as he can think and chuck a 20-yard pass, Brady's better than 99% of all other QBs.
Tom brady put the " GOAT " conversation in a rear naked choke hold, when he beat Atlanta. I can't believe it didn't die for some people till this game ended.
I love how Max always acts like it was Brady’s fault the Pats lost both Super Bowls against the Giants when in reality, in both games, Brady led a go-ahead TD scoring drive with under 5 minutes to play and in BOTH games the Pats defense choked and couldn’t stop Eli. Blaming either of those losses on Brady is the most ignorant take in all of sports. If anyone should be to blame, it’s Asante Samuel for dropping the easiest INT in NFL history that would’ve ended the game and completed the perfect season.
@@bingobongo8701 always. When it’s Brady’s team’s shortcomings, it’s all Brady’s fault and no one else’s. When it’s Brady’s accomplishments, it’s everyone’s accomplishment EXCEPT Brady’s. It must be tiring to be as dumb as Max.
In one game Pat Mahomes completely eliminated any chances of him ever being considered goat and Tom Brady solidifying himself as being the Mt Everest of NFL.
Especially when you consider Brady is now 2-0 in Championship games against Mahomes - Forget about Mahomes climbing Everest also - He's not even at the Pikes Peak level
The most shocking thing to me is, that a Max Kellerman, Shannon Sharpe and others are getting paid for this trash they are talking, when it comes to Brady. And for the next season, when history will be made again, Brady will become the unlimited undisputed GR8EST of all time!
It was another great day for PATS NATION. If the Pats aren’t winning it, then we are all going all in on Brady. We stand by our QB no matter where he goes, we are a different level of fan.
Coming back here the day after Tom's last game as a Buccaneer, is the most bitter sweat thing ever. I was an avid Brady hater, but I can't help but love the man now. He is, was, and until otherwise dethroned, the GOAT. Go Bucs, We will miss you Brady, thank you for having us. Let's. Fucking. Go. 🫡😥🙃
Shannon keeps talking about Kansas' O-line was missing a couple starters and 1 of them hadn't played a game.... Washington had to bring in their practice squad QB who was taking college classes and put him in the game against that very same Tampa Defense and that practice squad QB performed far better than Mahomes and put up far greater numbers. Brady has lost 3 Superbowls by a combined 15 points total, Mahomes lost by 22 this last time. Brady has more than 3,000 passing yards just in Superbowls. Brady has thrown 421 passes in Super Bowls by far the most, the #2 most is held by Peyton Manning with 155. Brady is not just the best he's the best by a huge margin.
Brady sets the "SB RECORD" for Highest Comp% in First half...72+ comp% for the game...3 TDs (Should have been 4)...Basically put Chiefs AWAY in the FIRST Half just like he did to Packers...Threw 2 absolute CLUTCH TD Daggers at the end of the First half in BOTH games...Wins SB "31-9"...After the game the Brady Haters and Mahomes lovers tried to make the ENTIRE game about how GREAT and AMAZING Mahomes played (Max Kellerman was the WORST)...All they talked about was a couple of "INCOMPLETE" passes by Mahomes to HYPE him up...Was almost UNBEARABLE to listen to how desperate they were to give him ALL the shine in a BLOW OUT LOSS...Meanwhile in reality Mahomes did not score "1" SINGLE point the ENTIRE game...if you did not watch the SB you would think Mahomes threw for 700 yards and 8 TDs the way his MAHOMEBOYS were going BANANAS about how great he played...Was HILARIOUS to listen to
Why can’t Brady and Mahomes both get credit? I like them both. I was rooting for Brady yet I recognize the Chiefs loss was not on Mahomes. He tried with what he had. Two of his incompletions were incredible throws that hit his receivers. They couldn’t catch. I do wish more people would give Brady credit instead of saying his teams carry him.
@@garlandrose9948 Brady also had an easy td dropped when his Oline dropped that td pass at the goal line stand, but to say Mahomes played great is bananas,he had the 4th worst QB rating in Super Bowl history and had 2 interception "lucky he didnt have 4 throwing it up the way he was " and through 0 tds,but people praise him for throwing prayers that should of been more interceptions lol, just like last year Mahomes had the single worst QB rating for a winning QB in Superbowl history yet they still gave him superbowl MVP,and gloated over the 3rd and 15 pass but in reality Tyreek Hill was 20 yards wide open and legit stopped waved his hand like recieving a punt calling for a fair catch and back peddled to catch it,Mahomes has 2 of the worst superbowl performances in NFL history yet wins of them and some how gets SB MVP lmao
The media highly esteemed Brees, Roger's & Mahome's...But they disrespected The 🐐🐐🐐....As if his greatness didn't matter. And for it The Media - (Those Who Belittled TB12) Looked Like Fools.
Brady makes Rob Parker, famously stupid. Go to his talk radio RU-vid channel. He's irrelevant, unless he's talking about Tom Brady. He gets 50x more views when he's talking about Brady.. because we are all guilty of laughing at the court jester.
This was great to see alllllll those haters eat thier words! Im a Cowboys fan..but dam!!! 10 Super Bowls??? 10?!?!? Thats insane! Respect to the GOAT Brady!!
Max keeps comparing Superbowls, Brady was never blown out in a Superbowl, Brady's team never got dominated like Kansas was. He has lost 3 by 15 points combined total and two by 3 & 4 points. Mahomes lost by 22 , Brady and the Bucs could have hung 50 on Kansas but they clearly took their foot off the gas early in the 3rd qtr and started playing very conservatively.
The Chiefs' game plan was the personification of the statement "When the only tool you have is a hammer, all problems look like nails." KC thought all they needed, and relied on, was their "explosive" offence - which they forgot to pack and bring on the field.
