This should never have been part of "The Men Tell All" although I wasn't sure of Peter's behavior until John shared about Peter's actions and comments. I had hoped that John was describing a scenario I could trust. Not sure now!
With the Peter drama I think it’s helpful to remember two things can be true: 1) Peter could be a self-important door knob and 2) it’s immature and unproductive to band together and dunk on him.
Yeah but we have NO EVIDENCE whatsoever to back the Peter thing up. And when the fake cowboy said Peter told everyone “f you” Xavier said that wasn’t true and that he didn’t agree with that. So there’s never anything of merit whatsoever to even begin to justify what they did as a group. Like this group of men is really trash. Especially compared to other groups we have had recently. Like the guys on Mitchell season are all still best friends and didn’t really argue at all.
@@NotInMYName_AntiZionistJew I definitely don’t think that act was real. And lets be real he definitely came there for tv. He didn’t once put any serious effort into a relationship
xavier really ain't shit. so disrespectful to act like his motivations were anything other than hoping to trap her with her feelings. if he really respected her he wouldn't have waited to tell her the truth. i hated that rose and hope she threw it out.
I understand his sentiment with the rose, but at the same time, what is she going to do with it?? I got rid of all the stuff from my past relationships. Things did not really end on a great note for them so I don’t expect it to still be around…
Right!?! And his sleazy comment about going to the fantasy suite and “needing to see more”. I wanted to throw him out myself right then. So sick of these a**h***s! I saw no redeeming qualities. Even his claim about having to seek therapy seemed manipulative. Just no.
He was never THAT bad in the first place though? He’s a much better “villain” than someone like Shanae or Victoria who engages in bullying and genuinely has a huge negative impact on other contestants/victims. I’d take a thousand Braydens before one of them.
@@hommefataltaeminTrue, Brayden was honest the whole time, he was annoying at times, but not a bad guy. And he was hilarious! I will admit that after he left, it got less entertaining.
I have a feeling there will be some age appropriate women plus a few Housewives-type sharks to add the drama. I hope Gerry does well but the whole thing fills me with anxiety.
Potential Unpopular Opinion: Braydon came off looking really good tonight. That whole F-Peter segment just made all of those guys look like assholes. Braydon potentially going to Peter as a way to make amends to Peter or feeling sorry for him makes him the bigger man than all of the guys who participated. Like really Xavier. I was rooting for you, be a man. I am willing to eat my words when it comes to Braydon, but I just don't think he's that bad of a guy.
I feel in the minority in that I don't want The Golden Bachelor now, not because it's a bad concept but because Gerry seems like such a sweetheart and I don't trust the producers to do right by him.
My biggest thing is that I hope they don't pressure him to propose to someone. I think they might, but it feels gross to me to try and make someone in their 70s commit to something they may or may not feel 100% about.
I’m still shook that Jesse read my comment that said Gerry could Geddit 😭😭😭 I love the confusion on his face and the guys laughing. I say all that to say he can still Geddit ☠️
It's the disconnect between his actions and what he knows he should say if he wants clout and a shot at more reality show appearances. Though I'm glad his manipulative ploy during Fantasy week wasn't strong enough to fool anyone! I guess now he's trying to pull the "I'm a good man deep down, but I'm damaged" card. 🙄
@@ellicel Oh, he's putting on a huge mask and trying soo hard to be Bachelor. "Therapy" yeah right. He even got his storyline all rehearsed..."I'm scared that the other person isn't going to love me"...or whatever BS he exactly said. He is a dog. And a very dim one at that.
I thought he was a walking red flag from the beginning, just how he talked to her. It made me cringe. I also thought he was trying to manipulate the sit down with Charity and when he gave her a rose that he knitted, I just rolled me eyes. It makes it hard for her to be true to herself because she would look bad if she didn’t accept and yada yada yada….we all know the drill. I’m happy she figured it out before it went further and that she responded accordingly to him after all the BS by saying she hopes he learns from it and grows. He was trying so hard to get her to feel guilty and get some pity and I think she saw right through it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I didn't watch it. What was that all about? I saw the sit down with him & Charity speaking. Did he have a gf? He said he was "falling in love with her." Did he send himself home? He made it all the way to fantasy suites, then said, "I love you." I'm confused with him.
Okay this tell all was super confusing, like what was all that mess with Peter? I did not understand it AT ALL. All the guys desperately clout chasing with their chime-ins was really tough to stomach. Unpopular opinion: Brayden looked good this episode, like him or not he was more coherent and kept to his story throughout the tell-all. I'm off to restock on tissues for Gerry's season😢
Nah sorry that FP thing is the most juvenile bullshit. Unless Peter secretly had several girlfriends at home or some shit, no one, least of fucking Xavier needed to bully, yeah bully him like that.
Thanks for being the only recap so far to call out Xavier’s so called apology to the Peter guy. It’s like “yeah it’s all about how awesome my character is…ask anybody” 🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@cchat6262 Brayden did get the first impression rose and bragged about it in front of the guys and Charity's brother. I don't remember seeing Peter at all or half of the other guys. 🤷🏼♀️
You're projecting. Brayden is confident and that's the only reason why he rubs people the wrong way. People feel like taking down confident people a peg and the way he stayed classy through the group bullying was actually extremely mature
My brain does this weird thing whenever I see bachelor fantake upload a new video, stress leaves my body, my mouth curve at the corners, and I suddenly have a more positive outlook on life.
Nobody deserves this moment more than Gerry he deserves to be on the Golden Bachelor it just goes to show no matter how old you are you can always find love at any age
I know you mean well but even the language you used in your comment is part of the ageism problem. To give qualifiers based on age is simply unnecessary. we hear it all the time: "she looks good for her age!", "he can find love at his age!" - it's all condescending and unnecessary imo Let's normalize celebrating others no matter their age or looks or talents or whatever! 😍
@@shannonceleste5557The op made a nice comment. You're clearly looking at all times of the day for things to be offended by. It is objectively true that it's harder to find people to date when you get into your 60s+. You're the only one being problematic and maybe you need to chill out.
@@vanillaghetto You're only thinking of rich white men. Older men can have a harder time too. Maybe don't be sexist. I work for elderly and disabled people and many of the men who were divorced stayed single while the ex wife moved on so I disagree with you completely.
Xavier be like "yeah we bully you but the real problem is Brayden telling you what we do". It's giving Chelsea shaming Katie about telling Matt about bullying.
Something just didn’t seem genuine about Xavier’s behavior on MTA. I felt like he was overtly trying to just save face in general for his own future chances with other women in the future. He also looked like he was reading off a script on the middle table (not looking in her eyes directly).
I don’t know what it is about this Sean guy but he just seems so fake and rubs me the wrong way lol. Brayden too you can tell is only here and came on this show for the game. I think he never planned on getting engaged and planned everything out about him time on the show, including the timing when to exit. Just enough time to get noticed but out before things got to serious. He was planning for Bachelor in Paradise the whole time. To be honest, I really don’t like any of these men from this group. I think Dauton was the best one, only real one 100%. Hopefully she picks him, which I think she will. All the guys this season all seem like they only came to try and get famous.
“If production does anything to mess with him, we ride at dawn.” is my new favorite Fantake line. I’m with you on that one. I have been wondering how producers’ stirring up drama ways will play out with an older cast.
Same here. I didn’t watch this season of The Bachelorette, This season is a yawn fest. This page makes it more fun and interesting. But I will watch the Golden Bachelor.
I want to believe that Xavier was nervous and he blew it on that date. He was just so stupid, like who says “I will try not to cheat” like dude just don’t! 😅 But I think the whole thing did really affect him because he looked exhausted and has eye bags. Reality tv ain’t for everyone, Xavier was just being dumb and wasn’t ready, I don’t think he’s evil but glad he’s going to therapy now 👍 I’m excited to see Brayden in BIP! Cause I’ll be honest, I think he’s just young and was being immature but I think BIP is more his vibe and he will fit right in
He did told Charity on one of their one on one date that he can’t commit to one woman and she had a bad feeling but she still kept him around. She always said he reminds her ex, I was surprised that he made it that far. She did that to her self because the red flags were there and she ignored them.
😮 Ugh what a sad group of guys. Only decent guys are the top two + Aaron (maybe). Everyone else has a lot of growing up to do. Glad Charity weeded them out.
I actually really liked Brayden on the tell all and even throughout the season. He seemed like Greg in that the experience was just making him uncomfortable but at least he was being honest. The FP thing left such a bad taste in my mouth..bullying at their age? Inexcusable.
John from NY was awesome she made huge mistake letting him go and i would've loved to have seen the country guy go on a one-on-one date with Charity cuz he seems precious! 💞😂!
I love how one of the guys says to Gerry we want to be like you. And I’m over here like yeah…after that display all season and what you guys did to Peter, you all have a very long way to go.
thanks for a fun recap! For once I REALLY like the bachelorette and her two last guys. Couldn't stand Brayden - although it seems like some folks like him (he seems WAY too into himself -- same thing with Sean). Have stopped watching the shows for the last few seasons because they seemed like the Bachelors were socially inept (DID like Zach) and many of the women were completely awful. There was too much drama and not enough good stuff - in the last two seasons ... seems like things improved.
brayden honestly had no intention of hurting anyone and that’s what’s annoying. he’s being real. i respect that. the peter thing was genuinely so upsetting and immature LIKE.
Honestly, the FP thing is immature and the guys trying to defend their actions is super low. Not a good look for anyone who participated in that. Never do to them what they did to you because you’ll look just as worse. Thanks for calling that out, Bachelor Fantake.
I'm all for a golden bachelor but I am really hoping it doesn't become an ageist mess in the game, podcasts and comments. I'm 64 and already cringe at the ageist generalizations being thrown around about men and women in their 60s and 70s.
Am I the only person who's confused that Brayden was ADAMANT that bachelorette wasn't for him but then bachelor in paradise is... make it make sense. still anti brayden
Wellll technically people have different personas and the professional persona is going to be wayyyy different than the person they are at home, you don’t hear an elementary teacher cussing in front of the little kids do you?
So what’s coming on next after Charity’s Season? BIP or Golden Bachelor? They said Gerry is in Sept which is in a couple of weeks. Do they normally air BIP in the winter?? 🤔
can i just put this here: do not idolize the golden bachelor. yes, he's sweet and says sweet things. yes, you should watch with your grandma and swoon. yes, he and his daughters look like goals. but please, for the love of god, don't project perfection onto a stranger who is appearing on television. he is at least a flawed human just like everyone else. he is at most a dude who will have skeletons in his closet.
You make a good point because the history of this show is that the producers thrive on bringing down men that the audience love (for drama/ratings/whatever). It’s the reason why I am happy when people like Michael A say no to being The Bachelor because it’s rare that they want to make the male lead look good. So I worry a bit for Gerry.
John needs to face facts that he was necking with Charity when earring Man stepped in...the fact that she didn't pick John is ON HIM! John must be a terrible kisser!
This group of guys are one of the worse the show have collected. The fact that no one thought they shouldn’t have done that Social Media thing is beyond me
The use of the G word (slur about Romani people) was very off-putting. Maybe a twenty something year old could be ignorant of the meaning of it, but ABC should know better. Racism and prejudice are not okay to be given a platform on network TV without any pushback / education.🤦🏻♀️
@@lindsaypaige4628 John did :/ CORRECTION: actually it was Brayden! It happened so fast that I incorrectly caught who said it. It’s ~2 minutes into this video, and I heard it during the TV broadcast.
Thank god for your recaps. I started to watch MTA on hulu. Came here to look for your recap. I just cant take any more of Breyden, or Xaviers b.s.....😊💛 Fantake youre the GOAT.
Count me as one of the few people that isn't excited about the Golden Bachelor. It's one thing for younger people to be manipulated by producers; it's a whole other thing for senior citizens to be manipulated by them.
I think everyone owes Brayden an apology. He never called her classless just cause one dude said it. They all believed him and so did the whole world then started attacking him. It’s not just about charity finding love they have to feel it too. That’s wrong to do that when Zayvier literally wanted to have sex with charity saying he needs to “see” more. When Brayden just wanted her to turn off tv her. You don’t know who people genuinely are off and on camera, everyone try’s to present the best of them on tv nobody is perfect and he got attacked for saying that. Also I don’t think he took time away from the other guy because she was full on making out with him then sent him home obviously that would have had to talk to her because making out and the kiss she gave him meant nothing obviously cause she do just be kissing dudes just to kiss them. Yes he did go on the wrong show because he wants someone to himself. And he made their relationship like it was just him and her and got crucified for it. He didn’t know if she was for him that’s why packed his bag also everyone saying they wanted to kill would make anyone uncomfortable and not feel safe in that environment nobody would. He told her the truth that’s it that’s all the other dudes hated him cause he was a threat and charity liked him the most. Yes he did get jealous like any other fucking human being but you shouldn’t get death threats for that either it’s honestly disgusting and so is this channel like ur a follower. Why would you wanna stay with someone who’s constantly interrogating u over what someone else said. Most dudes she had at the end she has absolutely NO connection with from what I’ve seen they either didn’t show they talking or they only spoke about her relationship with Brayden. Which he was the realest cast member because he was truthful about how he felt and was vulnerable and open and just being himself and people hated that.
Love Charity! It was great to see Trista, Des and Deanna again. Gerry is such a sweet, nice, caring man. I also cried and laughed. I hope Charity has found her man and can't wait for Gerry's season to start. He deserved happiness and finding his person. Toni hopes so too. She's cheering him on from Heaven.
