You missed one of MY favourite parts which is when the credits were rolling over footage of everyone hugging after the reunion and absolutely NO ONE goes to give Shake a hug. They all absolutely ignore him. It's SO fucking funny.

Watching Shayne slowly disassociate as Shake talks, like he's trying to will himself onto a couch in another dimension, is funniest thing I've seen all day. And then, every once in a while, Shake says something so insane that Shayne is snapped back to our world. It's so funny. I can't get over it.

It's totally fine to not be attracted to someone. You can even find someone beautiful/handsome but not be physically attracted to them, and that's okay. What's NOT okay is promising yourself to that person and bashing them to everyone you talk to. Be a man and let her find someone who can appreciate her.

It's been hard but I'm lucky to have a great support system. And here's some more context for those who need it-- He initially told me he didn't care about the weight gain (it was really just 10 pounds or approx 4 kilos). We had other issues and he had a tendency to be incredibly hurtful on purpose. Ex. He told me the wedding dress of my dreams was ugly when we were having an unrelated fight. During our last conversation, I said I was tired of his dismissive attitude to my complaints about his behavior. He responded by saying he wasn't sure he was still attracted to me and didn't think he could ever gain the attraction back. So really, he was upset I dared question his toxicity and he reacted by trying to break me. This was one month before the wedding. I was shocked. I broke off the engagement that night. I had put up with so much abuse at that point, I was just done.

Deepti is such a gorgeous and composed person. i'm so thankful that her parents allowed for a non-arranged marriage, and gave her that chance to make her own decisions. i'm hoping that her parents didn't lose trust in her afterwards and still will let her have that marriage of her choice if the time comes, because really that's what she deserves.

It makes me so happy how much everyone else in the cast hated him. So often this behavior is given a pass especially by other men. So to see other men react with such instinctive disgust is somewhat heartening in a weird way. It’s also just satisfying in a guilty pleasure sort of way.

Sorry if like 200 people said this already but when Shake met Deepti IRL he grabbed her ass quite heartily which, while ickily on character, implies he was attracted to her. That was such a confusing moment for me…guy is such a weirdo

The utterly defeated postures of all of the other guys while Shek is talking is just...it's magical. It's dark magic, but it's magical. You can see their souls leave their bodies and hover in limbo the longer Shek talks, the shame of having to sit near him and forever be associated with him on the show. The unity of everyone, even Shayne (I'll take Jarvis' word that he is awful in his own ways), in their simmering rage is a sight to behold. I haven't watched the show, but I adore the reaction of the girl who just started laughing when he asked about her size.

Shake's mom is a chad. A women to respect of her honesty.

Maybe it's just that I'm autistic and asexual, but i've seen a lot of toxic dudes pull the move of talking a lot of shit about the girl they're with/want to be with. It's all about isolating her and making her think that everyone is against her and that she can only trust him. It's a really manipulative move. Never trust a guy who talks crap about women to everyone.

The reunion feels like an Isekai. They're from the reality TV show world and Shake is straight out of an alpha male podcast.

can confirm it is ABSURDLY hard to get into vet school. i have friends who went thru tech programs. had perfect grades. passed every test w/ flying colors. interned at great practices. got rejected from every plac they applied. the competition is insane. i dont know WHAT Shake did to get into one and pass everything.
