There are 2 opțions. One is the lane departure warning system called lane assist and the other is the lane keeping system

Just a warning to prospective buyers . I bought a 2014 A class 250 Amg Mercedes approved only to find that water ingress is a problem .The merc dealer declined all knowledge of the problem ,but you'll find the internet forums are full of such cases. I would avoid them like the plague

4 questions: 1)is the gearbox good? (some people complain that is "slow/not intelligent" and "jerks/jolt" sometime in heavy traffic use 2)this 2.0 liter engine has good "low rpm" torque? (for everyday use) or you need to rev it high to make it "move"? 3)can you set the monitors brightness to low at night? (I would really hate to be blinded by the lcd in front of my face in night driving lol) 4)Finally, would you reccomend this car or would you buy something else with the same money? hey i thought i‘d answer even if it‘s a month later. But i‘ve driven the A Class and here‘s how I felt: 1) It is good. Noticeably better than the previous generation. I can jolt in really slow traffic though, but I think if you drive it long enough you can figure out when it does this and avoid it. 2) I‘ve driven the A220 and it was really quick off the line. If you want to switch from a stand still lane to a faster lane, you can do it confidently 3) The display automatically dims when its dark. The navigation also turns black. It does whenever you are in a tunnel and when it‘s dark outside. You won‘t get blinded at all. 4) Definitely buy it. I didn‘t have it for long as it wasn‘t mine, but I will buy one for myself later this year. It‘s a fantastic car and nothing comes even close to it right now

I've just brought one. A 220 AMG line executive. So much tech it's amazing only snag is, AMG line is very low. We do have speed bumps in the UK but it's been ok so far. The stats say the ground clearance is 160mm but an AMG line is lower and this wasn't mentioned to me by the dealer

What do you recommend leasing a car like this for around 3years or buying it outright?. I think the money is less when leasing for a certain amount of time.

AB monthly payments are usually cheaper on a lease then financing but with financing your putting you’re payment toward paying off the car whereas with a lease your basically renting the car from the bank. I’m currently leasing an a220 and love it so far might end up buying at the end of the lease.

Isn't the A-Class awfully close to a CLA? Wonder why Mercedes has essentially two entry level cars (replacing the C-class which had been entry level for many years) ??

CLA is the same thing like A klass just with a different trim. Its a 4 dor coupé like a small CLS. The A klass was available for over 20 years this is the 4 generation. The C klass is not replaced it is still available and more luxurious. A klass is compact car. C klass is mid-size

My local dealer said this week that you have to be very careful with blue jeans on the Artico and real leather sport seats... I like the brown leather too but I changed it in the last moment for my new car.

Tout ça c’est de la poudre aux yeux, ATTENTION à la nouveauté technologique, je possède ce model depuis novembre 2019 et je subis des extinctions du tableaux de bord central de manière aléatoire surtout des que je me trouve en situation de stationnement ou de risque de collision, le passage au péage, le stationnement, l’embouteillage ou une moto que vos passe trop près et plus de tableaux de bord… Malgré 2 passages chez Techstar Saint-Maximin le problème reste et Mercedes semble incapable de régler le problème. Donc si pas de chance et vous tombes sur une mauvaise série vous en avez pour la durée de votre contrat à subir cela. Merci Mercedes, pour ma part c’est ma dernière. Pour le prix il y a moins risqué ailleurs.Aller chez Renault pour le moteur peut être ce passer de ce grand écran qui sert n’a pas grand-chose en l'état.
