We start with Clun Castle pulling away from Birmingham New Street before chasing her up the line to Penkridge where she puts on quite a display, travelling at 75mph and carrying an unfortunate pigeon on her smokebox. Chasing further north we go through Hartford (footage courtesy of @crunchynutsteamfilms5043 ) and Acton Bridge. After some lunch and a drink in Liverpool, We rejoin Clun for the return journey sounding fantastic as she climbs out of Liverpool through the tunnels at Edge Hill. Sadly we couldn't overtake her on the returns so this is where our filming ended. Nonetheless this was a fantastic day of filming and I'd like to thank @blackcountrysteamvideos8021 , @LiamsLocos , @crunchynutsteamfilms5043 and @WestCountrySteamVideos for providing great company for our journey.
My first time chasing a railtour by train! And my first time utilising my GoPro for secondary shots. In this case the going away shots at New Street and Edge Hill.
