Goes to show that wall or no wall is not the reason people were coming to the U.S., but because they were welcomed unofficially and now suddenly Mexico cares too. It is awful how these people are being used.
Sounds about right. Same as Cuba. My parents came from the "work hard" generation and ever since the late 90's most Cubans coming to the USA were just a bunch of lazy ingrates. Not all of them but many of them. Communism is a plague on humanity that is for sure. Thanks for sharing
I think a wall on México's northern border would actually be good for Mexico because it would reduce gun trafficking. I know it won't stop gun trafficking, but it would at least slow it down.
Great stream Jose 🤙🏼 there's this RU-vidr named Nick Shirley that learned Spanish to interview migrants across the US and in CDMX. I would highly recommend you binge his videos He entered a Venezuelan camp in CDMX and i thought it was funny because they felt like it was too expensive. Like if going to NYC will be any cheaper 😂
Awesome! I will check it out! But yeah man it is very interesting to see the interaction between locals and migrants here in Mexico. So much that people just don't know about. Thanks for sharing!
@lucydeantigutarot8977 I've watched Cash Jordan on and off for a long time. His channel actually was always a NY real estate channel because he's a realtor. For almost a year now, he's been reporting on the crime and immigration issues in NY. He's always had a huge following, but his channel exploded when he started reporting on these issues. He's awesome, and funny too. 🙂
Sounds good i can look into it. But from everything I have looked into regarding that topic there is just a lot of misinformation and wishful thinking on this subject meaning that Many people want Mexico to join but Mexico would only be shooting itself in the foot by doing so. Also many people think BRICS will replace the dollar but they are also very wrong on that as well. In my opinion the countries behind BRICS are all going through their own currency struggles at the moment and are in no position to replace the US Dollar. I think once the Dollar falls we will have 2 potential scenarios. 1. A new digital Dollar that will just replace this old dollar and we will continue business as usual or 2. All countries will go back to a Gold Standard and there will not be a world reserve currency for a few years until a new alternative pops up. But it wont be China "they don't even allow the YUAN out of the country" and it wont be BRICS either because most countries really just want to remain sovereign and not "pegged" to another currency let alone a currency compiled of a bunch of other currencies. Hope that helps explain what i think about that situation
BRICS is just a club. It is not an economic union. Some countries may trade among each other, like China and Russia, but they mainly barter and exchange goods for goods. A country like China do not want the U.S dollar to degrade because they own the second most amount of U.S treasury bonds. Japan is first with $1.187 trillion in U.S bonds and China is second, holding $767.4 billion in U.S bonds. That’s an enormous amount of money even for China. So if they cause anything to negatively affect the U.S dollar then they would be shooting themselves in the foot. So for the foreseeable future the U.S dollar will be the international standard.
Representative Vicente Fernandez from the Rio Grande Valley has proposed securing Mexico's southern border. From a logistical standpoint it makes more sense, the border is a fraction of the length the US/ Mexico border is.
@@CandiceMMartinez A virtual wall along the Panama/ Colombia border would also help. Multiple walls up to the Southwest would might prove to be a strong deterrent. Of course, the South Americans might start to attempt to travel to Puerto Rico. Never under estimate the drive to survive. The far-right offers simplistic solutions to complex problems. That is why far-right regimes have historically been the most prone to start wars. The 20th century demonstrated that.
The U.S. dollar is up against the Mexican peso. 18.5 as of June 14th. Ever since the election, this has happened. Is there an explanation for this? It's good for those coming from the U.S. with Social Security, but what are the long range implications?
I think it is only temporary. A way to "punish" those people who voted for Morena and Claudia. But it's a manipulation attempt to scare people away from Mexico and have them lose faith but it's not really working. Again in my opinion it is just temporary and will soon be back on its way down. You can expect a strong peso for years to come especially as the US Dollar continues to weaken.
Bendiciones hermano. Quincy!
Jose don’t forget. Puerto Rico being part of the USA gets lots of immigrants from the Dominican Republic and Haiti. They also have Cubans and Venezuelans. And they are also welcome to some extent. Not for handouts. From Puerto Rico once they get their papers they go to the mainland.
There is construction on the highway going through the Darien Gap. I've been aware and watching this for quite some time. The Haitians are my favorite black people.
Yes the Chinese are the ones building that out there, but if the President of Panama closes off the area its not really going to matter much. Thanks for sharing
Interesting that you mention the wall will keep Americans from leaving. I get the same feeling as well, not from anything I have read but far right nationalistic policies seem that they would be more likely to keep citizens from leaving. What have you read or heard that leads you to assume the same? Thank you.
@@JoseArteagaTravels I get the feeling from the far-right that they will invent a nationalistic excuse such as Americans must live in the USA to spend in America. Another example of an invented excuse could be that only true "patriots" live in the USA. We can spend all day thinking of possibilities. Like Andrew Henderson says, always have a plan B and "go where you are treated best".
@@ronicmwest A trump administration or another far-right administration would spin it as being patriotic and those that choose to live in another country are traitors. That might also might hinder one's ability to renew their passport.
We should really back up the last 100 years or so. The US has always had a policy that let so many migrants through the US border. The US used to manage the issue with so many let in to work illegally. Only in the last few years has it been a free for all.
Exactly. It is a huge problem now. Mexican’s and most Latin Americans are hard workers and contribute to the country and society. Now there are tens of thousand and even hundreds of thousands of migrants from all around the world - and the U.S don’t want that. If you see some of the border crossing videos you’ll see an astonishingly high amount of Blacks, from Africa, and Chinese and other Asians. As a country it has the right to decide who enters its borders- even if it’s illegal border crossing. Not that those new migrants are lazy but it is just unbelievably out of control now.
Imagine thinking the current administration is doing a good job? What a joke. Biden literally pooped his pants at the D-Day memorial last week anything that's the guy that's going to fix our country? You're in the minority lady. Trump 2024.
No I do not know a company but you can check out this video for more info on Visas ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XH9lxrAehSU.html and contact Jose Novelo directly for help with your visa situation. Also depending on the country you are from will depend on the kind of Visa you need. If you need to get your Visa at a Mexican Consulate then there is nothing we can do to help on our end. Good luck with everything!
I am a black American female living here in Morelia for the past 3 months. I escaped America, because I couldn't take the violence against black Americans by the United States police force. Now I am living here in paradise. I have never seen a black or white gringo here, that's why I chose this exceptional city. But recently I saw a family of 4 . A husband, wife and 2 babies. The father stands in the middle of the street with his hat out, and one of the babies on his shoulder in the blazing sun. I asked them where they were from, and they said, Honduras..I asked why they were here, they say for a better life, and cannot get to the United States. Then I said, this isn't a better life. You're basically using your child to get sympathy, and holding up traffic. I also asked them why they don't get a job, their response was, they make more begging. My fear is because the people here hardly see black people, and NEVER heard them speak, they may think I am a beggar as we, and treat meet indifferently. The dynamic changes when they hear me speak. I am not saying they treat anyone differently, but people are people, and sooner or later they will become annoyed and I am not leaving here. I am a permanent resident of Mexico, I had to show the Mexican consulate in Chicago 12: months consecutive bank statements of a ton load of money, and have to be treated like a bum when I travel public transportation, it s very ironic. Because, I couldn't understand why they needed so much money, and they stated they wanted to make sure I could support myself. The irony.
