Is this a sneak peak for the new track in ACC? 🤣 All joking aside, great drive. I obviously caught the “drift?”, no question mark needed there Aris. Great recovery! 👏🏼👏🏽👏🏼👏🏽 I think I missed the jump, but that looks like a fun day. Well deserved
This is such a cool video, with some fantastic driving. I think this is the first time I've ever seen how brutal the carousels actually are. Even playing AC with FFB in VR doesn't come close to the real thing
Glad you enjoyed it! The carousels are indeed brutal but the camera exaggerate it... probably also the miata exaggerates it. When Davide will post his Subaru BRZ onboard, you'll see it's much smoother. Miata doing Miata things :P
Amazed how you managed to complete the lap with no swearing, or not speaking at all! And you´re italian!!! I would be yelling like a mad man all along ahahah. Good catching on that slide, it did seem to me you where coming in to hot. Great fun. BTW, time?
hahaha true! I wanted to drift it there for the photos etc, but I was getting upset by the BMW local who was tailgate me for the fun (check mirror), and I send it too hot as you said. But the Miata is benevolent and easy to manage. Lap was 9'06". I'm trying to go under9 and should be able to do it already, but I'm going step by step, you need to respect the ring.
@@ArisDrives Absolutely, and any small mistake can have catastrophic consequences has we often see. 6 seconds is nothing on such a long track, and you surely got the skills for it. It’s good fun to have those personal goals for ourselves. I myself have never been there, but doing a lap in the ring is right up there on my bucket list. I fell in love with the track since It first appeared in Gran Turismo, I’ve played so many times that I can almost do it by memory, corner be corner. What a track!
Hello Aristotelis How long without seeing each other on the tracks I see you very well driving in the Nordschleife and I am very happy to see you there. You know how much we need to have Nordschleife in the best current simulator (ACC) right? Anyone who has not driven in hell does not know how to appreciate the good work you did on that lap with a street car Bring us Nordschleife to ACC please And I hope to see you soon again on the tracks, greetings
Aris i think if you tune the camera exposure to get the track to look less bright would be much more enjoyable but still i like watching this. don't stop creating content
Prendere il tempo con “l’orologio” ( e che orologio) . Top driver!!! A sfondarla al karussel. Vado a appendere tua foto vicino a quella di calzino bianco sulla yellobyrd
Hey thanks. On those videos I'm using 7000 old Yokohama Advan 08RS. The good: - Predictable - Lot's of tread life for the driving I'm doing (always pushing) - More than decent on cold weather - Okish on wet - Low road noise on highway for this kind of tyre The bad: - Too much squealing when pushing on turns. (I really mean too much!) - Grip is nothing impressive. Old 08R (without the S) where much much much better. - They overheat easily on smaller tracks - They look like new after 10k km but practically dead for track use from the heat cycles.
hehe well as I said on another comment, actually I wanted to drift there for the photos, but I had that BMW tailgating me and was getting upset. I send it a bit more than I thought I did. No big deal though, looks more exciting than it is.
Yes it has, actually I got in the "highlights" on all 3 days, achievement unlocked. It was on purpose, just a bit too much send it because I was getting upset by a local tailgating me through fuchsrohre... oh well, locals :D
@@ArisDrives Got a Veloster N as my new daily/track car and it's damn good, a fair bit lighter and better aero than the i30 you guys get as well ! Dont miss the Miata too much :P But recently I tried a Camaro ZL1 on track and now I want one LOL
Maybe locked the rear tyres when released the friction? Aris, in downshift you don't make toe/heel, right? Or the gearbox of the miata doesn't need it? Really nice reaction btw! 🤟🏻
Nah, actually I wanted to drift there for the photos, but I had that BMW tailgating me and was getting upset. I send it a bit more than I thought I did. No big deal though, looks more exciting than it is. I'm usually toe/toe (can't use heel) but I had brake issues and the pedal was very long so I couldn't revmatch properly during the lap. But the Miata is benevolent and doesn't really need much.
