This wasn't part of my original schedule but when I got the question, I couldn't resist. Big thanks to Jared Simon for the comments.
Hope this helps.

Wow - an another amazing video!! Can’t get over the breakdown of “collecting of the wrist” and how that simple action changed so much for the follow’s turn by as you say, cutting the slack and making it a quicker inside turn. The whole video is great, but that piece proves the master misses nothing! Thanks for all your hard work Joe 😁

Physics PhD salsa dancer, here. "The reference of the middle is like the center of gravity." Not "like". It IS the center of gravity. All leads that come from above (e.g., leading simple turns around the head) or below (leading the follower into hammerlock) have almost no force in the lead, because we'd just knock the follower off balance if there were a lot of force. Leads "in the middle" can have significantly more force/resistance because that force is directed either AT the center of gravity (for linear motion) or AROUND the center of gravity (for circular motion). This is also why frame and having a strong core (for both lead and follow) is important, because without a good toned frame, even a lead close to the middle results in wobbly motion as the part of the body that receives the initial "push" moves first, then the rest of the body gradually realizes, "Oh, that was the lead, I should probably move now." With a good frame, even a lead some distance from the middle is conveyed to the center of mass of the follower by the follower's frame.

Update. Worked well with some, not with others. I think I need to film myself doing it cuz I think I look sloppy.

Another great vid. Love the channel. Two requests/suggestions for future vid topics (preferably on 2): 1) clearly distinguishing the lead between a basket (not sure if that’s proper term) and copa. Often when I try to lead a basket move, especially with one hand, the follow will rotate (like in a copa) rather than walk straight forward in a basic so that I can go behind her. I believe this has something to do with the prep (to the side rather than straight back, and the pull (to the side rather than straight forward), but I’m not sure. On a similar note (and maybe the same vid 😉), when leading a copa, how to control the degree of rotation. Sometimes I try to lead a 90 degree rotation into the copa (so that we are facing the same direction with my hand on her hip), but the follow often rotates 180 degrees so that my hand is on her back and not the hip. I have been told to use my hand/arm to prevent the over rotation, but it feels rough to do so. 2) super detailed (your specialty) look at a standard CBL. Loved the two 360 vids. Whenever I feel I have mastered all there is to know about the standard CBL, i get some small tip to improve it and get different desired results (weight transfer, size of step 1 (on 2), impulsion, etc). Could also include breakdowns of beautiful CBLs from different dancers. Apologies for the long post, I hope it makes sense. Thanks for all great content!

So to clarify on your second request, you would like to see a breakdown of the cross body lead. Show all the nuance and components of a CBL and possibly show attractive versions of CBL's?

@@JoeFigueroaLIRDANCE Bingo. I think it would be very interesting to see just how much detail can go into even one of the most seemingly simple moves. When I follow, I can feel a huge difference in the cross body leads of advanced versus beginner/intermediate dancers but I can’t always pinpoint what it is. Thanks!
