I prayed to God for an answer to that question and He took me to the scripture in Revelation that said "Behold! I make all things new!" I took that answer as He doesn't make ALL new things, but ALL things new! I believe they will be there although as "friends", not in need of care from us like on earth.

I beg to disagree. The "story" mentioned Lazarus as a beggar, the rich living in luxury, house with gate, dogs and then Moses and the prophets.. We know, though, during Moses' time, there were no beggars and rich. They were all equal and have to go out every morning to gather manna for food. If Lazarus lived during Moses' time, he must have been a lazy guy. The Israelites were also living in tent and had to wonder from place to place in the desert. No one lived in a gated house.

It is very important that when teaching about Heaven that we do not project the idea of our lives being as here on earth. On earth we are limited by time and biological restraints. For example LOVE will be far greater and the measure of how we exude love and receive love are limitless in Heaven. Even teaching that there will be those that know us requires us to take the limits off, because there will be those in Heaven that possibly do not have loved ones they are aware of there. All in Heaven will be family!

Second Coming Visions in Revelation: Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. We will indeed recognize our own family members and spouses who are in Heaven. But, in Matthew 22:30 Jesus said, "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven." You'll know and recognize your saved spouse(s) in Heaven, but no longer be married to them. Our spiritual marriage will be to Jesus Christ, so every other relationship will likely be more like siblings.
The first verse of the book of James tells us specifically WHO James is addressing. He is addressing the “twelve tribes which are scattered abroad.” With the exception of the tribe of Judah, who was populating Jerusalem when Jesus walked among men; The remaining tribes had been scattered for centuries before Christ’s birth. I believe the 11tribes travelled to Europe, over the Caucuses mountains, eventually making up all of we Caucasians who settled much of Europe, eventually America, Canada and most of the Christian nations. When prophecy refers to the Children of Israel in the futurist sense, it is referencing these populations. This fulfills God’s promise to Abraham to “multiply him as the sands of the sea.” After all, we are all one in Christ Jesus; therefore Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. Paraphrased from Galatians 3:28&29. You will find that the Prophecies within both the Old and New Testaments are easily understood if you possess this knowledge and understanding. Pray for God’s wisdom on this subject so you may show yourselves approved. Offended? So were the Scribes of Jesus’ day when He corrected them on their understanding of parts of the manuscripts. I think God has used all of history to show that man and his sin nature will reject him no matter what government or status there exists. For example good monarchy bad monarchy people's committee Democracy or Democratic Republic ... The millennium will be the final nail in man's defense. Right now man can argue before God that if only you had walked amongst us we would have followed you. Jesus is going to live and rule for a thousand years generation upon generation of humans will be born knowing only the rule of Christ and in the end many humans will reject his reign and rise up in rebellion against him. This will show that even with the supernatural presence of God on Earth man will still reject his rule. So at the end of all time when God judges the Earth man will have no defense. Sin will be revealed for what it is
