Oh I so completely agree! Lamb and Lion has seen me through some awesome and some difficult times. I am so thankful for their ministry! I only wish I had known about them the 15 years I lived there where they are! I’d have LOVED to have visited their church and conferences!!
i am 1000 percent osas. I wasnt for over 3 decades. My christian life wasnt working, the bibles promises didnt seem real. I prayed, witnessed contantly, read my bible, all the disciplines which are good by the way, but could never be faithful enough, good enough, do enough. Something was wrong and it wasnt God. So, maybe i should just believe what the bible says and believe that since I believed, I have eternal life. That simple. My whole christian life changed. I love being saved now. My bible is alive now. I dont believe for a second i can go live in sin or do what i want to. But, I dont want to now. The Holy Spirit only works through truth. I still lovelamb lion.
Please help me here. I was a Roman Catholic and believe i have been born again, with the help of lamb and lion. However, I'm researching the OSAS concept and it seems to me that your dedication to Christ is alot like love in a relationship, it takes constant work on our part and commitment. So, not having a complete understanding, I would think that if at one point i am blessed enough to be saved, I could lose it through sin. Am I mistaken?
I 100 percent believe osas. believed the other way for over 30 years. I still love lamb lion anyway. Each person has to be convinced in their own mind. The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth, In my case He did and is still doing. I know there no chance i can be good enough, believe enough. It all boils down to this. Why read Revelation? Why read the Bible at all? Because it is God’s love letter to us! It is how He speaks to us! It’s so rich with history and beautiful and exciting stories!! I read it and have read passages over and over that speak to me differently each time. I find little “golden nuggets” in passages I’ve read before that I’ve never seen, it is simply amazing!!

I agree with almost everything. I just want to add a wee tweek: The word "quickly", in the original Greek, is "tachos" which also means "suddenly". When you realize that, it makes more sense. And Rev. 12 is definitely Israel and it's backed up by the angel who told Daniel Many times "thy people": Daniel 10:14 and Daniel 12:1 are only 2 clear examples, but there are lots more.
Precepts Ministries has excellent in depth studies on the books of the Bible including all the prophetic books in the OT and NT. The Book of Revelation is a 4 part, weekly study with daily homework, meeting 1 x weekly for 1 hour discussion and 1 hour DVD produced by Precepts. Discussion group leaders have had training to lead. Precepts is an excellent tool for discovering Scriptural truth for yourself. The inductive method is used comparing Scripture with Scripture. We go to commentaries only after we have studied for ourselves. No spoonfeeding.
Actually, the rapture is talked about in Revelation 14:14-16. An angel comes out of the temple and tells Jesus (AKA the son of man) the harvest is ready and he brings the harvest in. We know this is the rapture because Jesus in Matthew 9:38 refers to God as the Lord of the Harvest. We also know that Jesus is the one who gathers us to him (John 14:3).
May I ask...if each of the 7 churches represent different periods of church history, how could Christ have returned at any moment if each church represents a period of church history? Surely Christ could not return at any moment if those 7 churches represent prophecies regarding different church ages.
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.
I think it is like different types of people. Are generous, stubborn, happy, pathetic....does not matter what time period. Same type of churches seen then will see throughout history.
I believe that the early church worshipped on Sunday. Jesus rose on the first day and I don't think you would get very many Jews to your service on the seventh day, the day of rest.
…I notice, if Revelation is in chronological order, that , in Rev. 20:15, that God is STILL merciful to the ungodly, in that He sends them to their eternal punishment BEFORE the new heaven & new earth are revealed………so they don’t even see, or know , what they are missing……..& thus, their torment isn’t worse…….I’ve never heard anyone say this, it’s just what I’ve read, in Revelation……….what are your thoughts??🤔
The early Church struggled with whether to follow the Jewish law or not (Acts 15). Peter concluded the discussion by saying in verse 10-11, "Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are." The Book of Hebrews went on to affirm that the Mosaic Law was no more, for a better salvation was available through Jesus Christ. Those who adhered to the Mosaic Law were labeled Judaisers, whom the Apostle Paul had strong words for in Galatians 5. Paul also repeatedly wrote about the freedom from the Law that grace provides (some examples: Rom. 6; 11:6; 1 Cor. 8). And so, the Early Church had no problem theologically moving the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday in remembrance of the Lord’s resurrection and to differentiate their services from Judaism.
A question was asked if the events in Rev 6 thru 19 is presented in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Tim Moore shockingly said yes. There are numerous Bible prophecy experts like John Walvoord and Mark Hitchock that believe that the events of Rev 6-19 is not in exact CHRONOLOGICAL order. I have a question for prophecy expert Tim Moore. After reading Rev 16:12 - 21 (end of chapter 17) do you seriously believe that the next chronological events to take place is in Rev 17? If you do, Dr. David Reagan and Nathan Jones would totally disagree with you. Is there anybody reading my post that can give biblical reasons why the events of Rev 16:12-21 must take place chronologically before Rev 17 and not before Rev 19: 11-21?

Also the Book of Revelation tells you not to add to and not to take from that book! Knowing that the Book of Revelation as I read it and asked God for the interpretation there is only 3 1/2 years and no such thing as “pretrib rapture” but that’s how I am reading per the instructions of THAT BOOK!

In Rev. 1:1 there are TWO WORDS in place of SHORTLY in the Greek text. One is EN (which means in a FIXED POSITION, in place, time or state) and the Greek word TACHOS where we get our English word tachometer from as in ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM. So, in essence, Jesus is saying at a FIXED POINT IN TIME (which only the Father knows....RIGHT? ) I will come IN HASTE when I am sent by the Father. According to the LORD, the book of Revelations was written only for the Bond Servants of the Lord to understand, they that he choose to be in the last week of Daniel on the Earth, during the chaos. (revelations1;1) but of course you will reject what is written; and say things according to your understanding, and many will follow and accept what you say, even if it's wrong.

The Day of the Lord is ONE DAY in which God's Wrath BEGINS and that starts via the First Trump and thus ALL 7 Trumps happen over a 1260 day period of time.
How can the Day of the Lord be the tail end of the tribulation when the Scriptures say, "the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." No, the Day of the Lord encompasses the trib, which will begin when the 1st seal is opened in Rev 6:1 and the destruction of the present heaven and earth. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. There are not many Christians left to share the gospel, I fear when they open the churches back up the pews may be empty- nothing but crickets chirping. Preachers may have to go on social media such as Facebook and RU-vid or go out and get a job or start their own business; no more Bentleys or Learjets 😂

Once the Church is Rapture to be the Bride of Christ...isn't it true that the Lord goes back to dealing with His Covenant with Israel??? The church is no longer mentioned after the Rapture.
The Capital "C" Church, as we use the word today", is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11-12 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. The passage also proves part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Jesus only comes back once, ill show you a mystery in the trumpets after the first four trumpets the angel says woe woe woe cause there's three more trumpets 5,6,7 then the 5th trumpet sounds and it's five months long then the first woe is over Rev 9,12 then the second woe comes the sixth trumpet and its told us in two parts first the kings of the east and they bring us to armageddon Rev 16,12 then the second part is Rev 11,1-14 the building of the temple and the two witnesses for seven years and then the second woe is over Rev 11,14, then the third woe comes the seventh trumpet Rev 11,15 the Lord Jesus. And he's the resurrection at the end of the seven years so the woes or last three trumpets show us the seven years starts in the sixth trumpet, the tenth capture of revelation is the seventh trumpet, Rev 10,6,7. These guys are so far off, tthe seven thunders that sounds God would not let John write because he was not through with the description of the sixth trumpet or second woe and thats why he finishes the description in Rev 11,1-14 vs 14 the second woe is over or the sixth trumpet. But the storyline from chapter nine the kings of the east they bring us to armageddon Rev 16,12 in the sixth trumpet and the sixth bowl and thats the end so then your in chapter 10.

For this reason alone, Sunday can never be the day of the Lord Jesus, He was neither Roman nor Catholic and He always followed the biblical calendar of God and not the man-made Catholic calendar. Sunday was the day that Jesus rose from the tomb. If you want to live like you're still under the Law and believe that there it still one special day set aside where you need to observe certain things, go right ahead, but don't you DARE try to put that on anyone else..CHRISTIANS worship ANY and EVERY day. No one has found the corresponding Greek words for "Sunday" (hemera heliou) and "week" (hebdomada; you can find this even in the LXX and in the books of Flavius Josephus) in the Greek text for 2,000 years, because the NT mentions the "Sabbath" exactly 70 times (10x7) and exactly 7 times in the resurrection chapter of the NT (Mt 28:1a; 1b; Mk 16:2,9; Lk 24:1; John 20:1,19), both in the plural and in the singular, so that we do not argue. And Mk 16:9 is literally extremely easy to translate, for it means "early on the first Sabbath" (proi prote sabbatou) in the singular genitive, not "early on the first Sunday" and not "on the first day of the week". Question: What is the "first Sabbath"? Anyone who knows the biblical calendar of God can answer this question immediately. There are always three Sabbaths within 7 days of Passover, namely the two High Sabbaths on the 15th and 21st of Nisan, with the one little (ordinary) weekly Sabbath in between. And this is always the "first Sabbath", that is, the first of the seven Sabbaths that have been counted for 3,500 years between High Sabbath Passover (15th Nisan) and Pentecost (see the calculation of Omer). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is also "the WORD of God" and He knows exactly what He says and what He does not say. Jesus spoke of the sign of the Messiah. What did this sign consist of? Jesus should rise after beeing "3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth". So a crucifixion on a Friday and a supposed resurrection on a Easter-Sunday is completely impossible. Not only the literal translation of the NT says this (and very many Bible translations), but also the word of Jesus. Many Christians say how much they love Jesus, but in reality they do not believe Him and twist His words. The truth is: Jesus has fulfilled the sign of the Messiah. It was the most important sign in the history of the universe. He was resurrected after "3 days and 3 nights", as He said. And it was "early on the first Sabbath" (Mark 16:9; singular genitive). Thats written in the Original Bible text and very many correct bible translatios worldwide. This year 2020 was a special year because the biblical calendar of God (the first visible crescent moon over Jerusalem determines the beginning of the month) fell on exactly the same days at Passover as the Jewish calendar of Hillel on the 4th century (it is based on statistical averages because the Jews scattered around the world could no longer see the crescent moon over Jerusalem). So we had exactly the same sequence of days as in the year when Jesus was crucified. This is statistically very often the case in God's calendar, about every third year!!! This means concretely: the 14th Nisan fell on a Wednesday, the 15th Nisan on a Thursday and the "first Sabbath" (Saturday) on the 17th Nisan, the day of resurrection. If Christians were to consider the entire Bible and not just the NT, they would also understand the statements in the Resurrection chapter of the T. The key to understanding the NT lies in knowing the calendar of God in the OT. Whoever does not have this basis will think that the expression "first Sabbath" supposedly means "first day of the week". Such nonsense. Just as there is a "first [Advent] Sunday" until Christmas, so there has been the "first Sabbath" of the seven Sabbaths until Pentecost since 3,500 years. Daniel 12:4 is just being fulfilled and we have received the knowledge back before the rapture. Yes, you read correctly, almost all Slavic and Germanic Bibles of the Middle Ages, which were all Catholic Bibles, told about the resurrection of Jesus on a SATURDAY morning. Even the world's first printed Bible in a national language (Mentelin 1466) speaks of the coming of women to the tomb on a Saturday morning, not Sunday morning. Please forgive. Christians are guided to forgive those that hurt you. We are all sinners and all deserve hellll. Forgive as God has forgiven you. If need forgivenss then call on JESUS to SAVE you. Ask he forgive you. Beleive JESUS son of God. Admit do wrong and sin. Have Faith in JESUS till end. That is how become a Christian. Cannot do it without God sending holy spirit to help you say it outloud. Also Jesus has power by his blood to forgive all past, present, future sins when you call on him to be Saved.
The rapture is a specific date that the Father has established. However the qualification for the rapture is immanent because all true Christians are qualified on the date of their death. In a sense the rapture is like a train. If a true Christian died in the first century, the tenth century or earlier today, the Lord will call them up when He appears. If at your death you do not accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, you are on Christ's judgement train. The rapture is immanent and determined when a person's human life ends.

There is another more plausible view of the Lord's Day. Namely, in context , it refers to the prophetic, apocalyptic Day of The Lord. This is the whole context of Johns vision, being caught up to see the future events surrounding the actual, physical second coming of the Lord Jesus to bring His millenial Kingdom . The day of the week John saw this vision is not even relevant. This is consistent with all the Old Testament prophecies referring to the Day of The Lord.

The angels are actually the same events as the kings are. The first angel and king were in a war , called the wsr of the huns. The second angle is in another war, around a thousand years after Christ. The third king and the third angel are the same events. And is a war around 1500. Years after Jesus. All scriptures have to harmonize together to get the truth. Plus if you read the book of Acts you will see that it goes along with the scriptures. By grace are we saved, this is true. That means there is nothing that we could have done for Jesus to die for us. None of OUR OWN GOOD WORKS Titus 3:35. But James 2:14-26 is talking about the works or Obedience to God's word. I believe all the scriptures you mentioned. One just has to understand them. Compare to what they did in the bible.
@rossdaboss1959 God is perfect therefore he requires perfect obedience which no man can do. God does not weigh your good deeds vs your bad to determine whether or not you gain salvation. Salvation is a gift from God by believing on the death burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement of one's sin.
