Flash and eyestrain warning!
I do not own the song. It is "The Mind Electric" by Miracle Musical (as well as some added audio fx and vocals from me)
This is now the third time I've done an animatic using this song, but it really fit the Spot, so
My dad says he thinks this is my best animatic I've made so far, and I agree with him.
Those frames of the different characters were really fun to make and were great studies of style

The almost playful nature in which he's tormenting Miles just makes his breakdown all the more terrifying. The colours are gorgeous. Not sure how to put it but I love the way everyone's limbs/bodies move. Feels very smooth. Even with the mask, Miles' eyes are so expressive. This is beyond phenomenal. I can't begin to imagine how much work went into it

Just some fun details I spotted (ha pun intended) on my first watch which I thought I’d share: 1:03 Spot Energy 1:08 little crown 1:26 Hole-ly 1:46 the bagels on beat with the drums 1:51 I like how the Spot has 3 heads here to represent the backing vocals 2:37 The frame going back to white when the song sings “When it grows bright” Seriously, the thought put into this is mind blowing.

Uh, not going to edit this because it got hearted, but that scene with the silhouette of the graffiti flashing to the spot was really cool as I just today found out it was foreshadowing, and I loved the extra voice in the “see how the brain plays around” section.

The details, little references, how it can be a bit comedic like when the bagel joke appeared but went serious in seconds, how you animated the spot and his different form and of course the portraits of the different spiderman! Especially my favorite parts are these (as if all of it isnt amazing!) Spot throwing bagels at miles, hes taking it personally! The image of dr.Ohnn trying to break free from the spot form, heck just how you draw his human form is great! He's deep down just one unfortunate man having losing everything in the span of a day :( How spot went from playful to serious! The flashing black n white part The moment when miles is pleading to Miguel, the expressions are spot on! The moment the spot appeared with wingdings(i squealed at this literally) And the Marvel 4th wall break Everything in this is awesome Oh and the post-credit! THIS IS PHENOMENAL I GOT CHILLS...The different people flashing in and then the transition from spot to no expectations were definitely my favorite parts, also "when you fall inside a hole you couldn't see" fits SO well (Miles didn't even know spot existed for like forever-) And the backing vocals added in are just the cherry on top! 1:14 I GENUINELY DROPPED MY PHONE AND CURLED UP IN A BALL. IVE NEVER MADE THAT CONNECTION BETWEEN SPOT AND THE "NO EXPECTATIONS" PAINTING SILHOUETTE BEFORE OH MY GOD anyway, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, this song is PERFECT for spot. i LOVE LOVE LOVE the part with all of the spiders in different styles flashing, and the goofy-but-horrifying way spot is portrayed here is spot-on (hehe nice) (The emphasis on the bagel at the end also reminded me of Everything Everywhere All At Once, which has a similar multiversal concept and also broke my brain for a moment there) INCREDIBLE WORK!!!!❤❤❤❤
