No, because he's on Earth Prime, an actual location in the multiverse. He calculated the travel, so he knows he's on Earth Prime. Any decision he didn't make would create an alternate universe, which would be reflected in the multiverse location coordinates. So an alternate Owlman who makes a better fighting decision and kills Batman would then be able to see that his coordinates are not Earth Prime if he checked. It's a weird brain teaser, but the universes have distinct coordinates in the multiverse. If you were holding a multiversal GPS and looked to the right, the version of you who instead looked to the left would then look back down and see they are in a different universe with different coordinates. If there are three choices, only one is canon in that universe, the other two are part of a new universe, even if you had knowledge of the multiverse and were tracking your location in it. Owlman realizes that since he lost, other versions of him won, and of those versions, at least one of them probably checked the coordinates, went to Earth Prime and blew it up, but it didn't destroy the multiverse, so his theory was wrong. It didn't matter.

@@carlosvasquez1947 the timelines don't split; alternate timelines form independently and divert off onto their own, while one of them is STILL Earth Prime. He calculated the dimensional travel and landed on Earth prime, thus we know for a fact that he originally landed on Earth Prime. How the universe determines his canon actions on Prime is another question, probably a math formula determining his most likely course of action. But because we're watching a movie we have the perspective of the canon Earth Prime.

I think I have a good grasp of his philosophy. I just think his explanation of it is a little silly as the infinite choices that are made weren’t made by one consciousness but infinitely different people. Only an all conscious immortal being would have a real reason to feel this way. And as I explained in the video, his philosophy may stem from his need to be someone of importance. Also him being the antagonist is a part of it as it shapes his personality.

So, do we truly have free will if every possibility unfolds regardless of our choices? Does it truly matter what I do, given that every choice happens anyway? In this infinite multiverse, one universe lives while another dies because opposite events must occur. Every action taken leads to a new universe where every other action was taken. It's not about making a choice; it's about being unknowingly compelled by the whims of the multiverse. Owlman isn't a pure nihilist because he seeks something to matter, and in an infinite multiverse, the only thing that can matter is ending it, as nothing can follow. sorry its late not a amazingly composed comment.
