The MISERABLE LIFE of This Bethelite + CRINGE Mistake - JW Broadcasting April 2024 (part 3) 

I was in Bethel and worked in Security for a couple of years. It wasn't too bad at first, but during lockdown it became very difficult. The shifts were brutal. We would do 7 consecutive night shifts when the legal limit in this country is 4 max. The whole team got pretty depressed. One guy was on a night shift and went to eat some food. He sat at table after heating up his meal and just sat there. He suddenly broke down crying. A lot of us did research on how we could improve the conditions for the team. We went to our overseers with the research and they were reluctant to change things. They did eventually mildly improve things, but only after the brothers who had gone forward with the research and the ones who had suffered the most had left the team. It was very common though for people in other departments, especially sisters, to feel incredibly overwhelmed by their assignment. They would often be interviewed and like this video they would express their experience as if it was positive. In reality, they were just barely coping. And the amount of mental and emotional breakdowns was ridiculous considering we were supposedly working along with God.

Can't believe I used to think all of this was normal

So many wasted lives of people thinking the end was just around the corner and now they are old and stuck in the most dangerous cult that ever existed.

We had a couple of young guys from our hall go for a temp assignment out in Bethel. They came back and dropped, they were working 12 hours a day construction and when they werent they were expected to be at meetings and all that. They over work you to death for free!

If you haven’t been to a convention in a while, I think you won’t be able to sit through 1 whole day. It’s sooo boring and uncomfortable.

The love for God, and the daily devotion of Him is admirable. Many of us leave the organization but do not leave God.

When I was little, I would often stay with my Grandma. I have strong memories of Jehovah's Witnesses showing up at the door and Grandma turning off the lights and television and whispering to us, telling us to stay quiet until they left. I didn't know who they were, but her behavior made me frightened of them.

Since woke, I found out that these interviews are partly changed to make it emotional for the audience to be emotional 😭。And ofcourse some couples in branches are happy, ain’t some of these from pinky rings club😅

The sad thing is that there is no reason for them to do this. There are plenty of JWs to distribute work (yes, even unpaid work). Why abuse a few giving them so many hours and so much work? Very sad, disgusting abuse against people who actually care about work in their own faith.
