I love this song and video because it depicts Pizzazz as a victim for once. It gives more depth to her character, as she's always been portrayed as one-dimensional up to this point.
+brandontaylor14 I will say we see a different side to her but before this episode they gave insight into her character that made her more than just a 1-dimensional character in Father's Day. Her mother abandoning her and her father leaving them both in a hard place relationship-wise shows that's why she is the way she is. She was acting out as a kid for attention but instead got whatever she wanted, except for the one thing she really wanted which is to have her dad be parental and nurturing. The Pizzazz we know now is jaded and bratty and her and her father both wish they could have done things different but both are too proud to put aside old habits.
***** That's true but she didn't really change her behavior after the award ceremony. It did remind me of the scene in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas where his heart grew though.
There is a lot more to Pizzazz as long as you look past her bratty behavior. Heck one of the very first things we see from her is that she places no value on money or possessions. The only misstep I think the show made with her characterization is the episode where they threatened Stormer. I know Pizzazz didn't really want to go along with it and it wasn't her idea... but she should have done something. THAT and the time she attempted murder (but this was early on... when she was just a flat out villain)
This is absolutly the best The Misfits song at all, even the first one to show something deep to their lyrics, and I´m maybe wrong but this is the only one to mention about love
Certain. And it is from this song that, in my opinion, the theme of the Misfits managed to close properly. Pizzazz matured, but she will always be Pizzazz.
For An 80s Cartoon Song...... This Is FANTASTIC The Heartbeat As The Beat Is BRILLIANT....... Their Last Good Song........ And They Went Out With A BANG.... PIZAZZ Finally Calmed Down
finally Pizzazz is the bullied one, i love all the references in the video, specially the Bride of Frankenstein, thanks for the share and your channel is one of my favorites
While I liked Riot and Jem's relationship, I still would've liked to see Pizzazz get the effing guy for once. With her smarts, his cunning, and Mr. Gabor's money, they could've been THE power couple.
The good girl and the bad boy is a timeless concept. Now Rio would be the perfect man to give Pizazz a reality check ever so often he wouldn’t let her run all over him. And I suppose sometimes he would be caring enough to allow Pizazz to show her vulnerable side.
@@msperry1719 Rio could be a prick sometimes though and I think one of the stinger members was interested in him. Him giving pizzazz a chance would be interesting though
@@msperry1719Jem is a soap opera, in cartoon form, so if they would have done a season 4 it would have been interesting to see a triangle between Jem/Riot/Pizzazz. Rio could have taken an interest in Minx.
She was following what Riot of the Stingers said. He, Rapture, and Minx are, after all, half owners of Stinger Sound, which Eric Raymond bought from Harvey Gabor, father of Pizazz.
She really WAS obeying Riot, and she really DID want the Misfits to take her back, but I don't think she was acting. Riot is, after all, one of her bosses, and, like U said, half owner of his half of Stinger Sound. Eric Raymond gave him, Minx, and Rapture half of the company after buying it and signing the group.
From the Gimme Gimme Gimme video right? Yeah, she looked great. I'm going to take them all into photoshop and see what they look like without make-up haha. The Misfits, anyway. The Holograms are already clean enough ;)
..I've been falling into a MASSIVE rabbit hole of "Jem" performances, and this One (albeit flashy) has some SURPRISINGLY dark overtones; I've felt that 'Riot' should have been Pizzaz' Lover, but they went with the "Who Do U Love" story-line of Rio / Riot, for Jem.....poor Pizzazz is ALWAYS 'in the Soup'....(0:39)...
we get small looks into pizazz besides the " im the villain hahaha " view were always given of her. if i remember right some of the only real moments we get with her are with her dad being astranged from her and when ba nee leaves the starlight house. when shes in love with riot but doesint get what she wants and has to deal with the fact that she DIDNT get what she wanted. unlike something materialistic it was someone she genuinely wanted and wasint used to the affects he had on her. riot wasint something she could just throw a tantrum for and get like most other things she wanted. i wish we got to see more before it was canceled.
"With just a touch of my burning hand- I send Astro-Zombies to invade this world- Prime Directive: EXTERMINATE the whole fuckin' race! And your face drops off in a pile of flesh, then your heart heart pounds till it pumps to death. Prime Directive: EXTERMINATE this whole fuckin' place...!" -The Misfits
Oh God no. I'm prove inclusion but the Kimber/Stormer relationship was ridiculous and maybe the option they have available since a short done some time ago showed that Aja and Roxy ended as a couple, something more believable
Have you seen what Roxy looks like without her Makeup? Honestly she could compete to be the most attractive person in the series if she ever took off her stupid makeup!
...I cannot STOP laughing at the Blonde chick throwing the green -haired chick around...with a SMILE on her face! *...SHE WICKED!!* (0:11) (0:23) (0:37) (0:50) (1:04)
