The scene with the armour stands at 2:43 could be a reference to Call of Duty: World at War, where in one of the final missions when the Red Army storms Berlin, Soviet soldiers surround a subway entrance that have some surrendering German soldiers inside. The player is then given the choice to either kill them themselves or sit by and watch. Judging by the theme of the base, it makes sense.

I love the peaceful minecraft music playing as you stumble upon a base full of swastikas and a madman's mechanisms.

That's not just an elevator. It's a block shuffle. It can be used to move blocks aboveground in a fixed amount of time. Good for delayed TNT traps. When buried, it's harder to notice compared to a dispenser sitting plainly in a wall.

A lot of people dont get this but the swastika is actually because of an old hack client called nodus. In the client, there was an autobuild mode, and one of the shapes was swastikas. You could use it to really quickly build houses. Im guessing its what he did here.

This is really one of the most 2b2t things to ever happen. Player stumbles upon horribly politically incorrect base. Base turns out to be Hausemaster's. Base becomes compromised over night. Hause uses admin powers to ignore the consequences of the very realm he's made. Player finds where the owner's base was moved using a nigh inconceivable method, informs one of 2b2t's documenters. Documenter records some footage there, and IMMEDIATELY after, the base is then griefed. All of this could only happen on 2b.
