Problaby the most extensive and well explained video about Reaper's Mixer functionality on the internet. Truly helpful, many thanks for the effort Kenny !
Awesome as always. Left protools for reaper about a week ago. Feeling pretty confident with the mixer already, but as always with your videos, I learned something (or things) new! Appreciate it Kenny!
very good explanation on this! the fact that 'clickable icons for folder tracks to show/hide children' isn't on by mistake is beyond me! 2 other prob very basic questions - i notice that when adjusting sends, the 'send knob' behaves very fast. I have to move the mouse a lot to turn the knob fully - how can this be changed? also, is somehow possible to 'dock' only the return tracks to the right side of the mixer?
KENNY FOR PRESIDENT I WILL VOTE.. I search everything about the mixer and the other just talking fast can't slow to emphasize each thing they talk about. Because as Kenny piece by piece you can just get the point you need from just one video. Others speak too quickly and don't emphasize certain places and so they most bad we only endure. But Kenny you are a wonder. The epitome of teaching and explaining things. Just wow....
Hi Kenny, I have gone through your videoes on Reaper's main home page. I can not find a video about mixing the tracks or how to in a really good way to master recordings. Are there videos about this or something similar? Or are you planning to create that kind of vidios soon?
I’ve been enjoying your videos young man. I’ve had a Mac mini for a few years, but recently I purchased a super powerful PC for very little money, so I am building a system in it. I was using logic in Mac, and I know it pretty much like the back of my hand, but I’ve been seeing so much about the customization of reaper that I thought I might look into it. Your videos are very helpful. Thank you.
Yes yes I love it. When you mix, do you use different setups depending on the project? For example, if you have a project with 1 guitar, vocal, and a Cajon, would you have a different layout than a project with a 10 pc band.
When you delete and effects parameter that you have made viable on the mixer, am I right in thinking that it only remove the control, and doesn't delete the affect.
right click on the fader knob and it'll bring up routing.. You can enter it numerically there. Control+clicking the fader lets you move the fader slower and more precisely.
