Thank you Peter! It's an excellent tool, indeed. I saw your video about it as well. I liked your approach of reducing the amount of product in the bottle, yet still performed very good. Will resell them in your shop?
Hi Sean, the company sent me directly for free of charge. But it arrived within 1-2 weeks, what I’ve seen at the orders it came from EU warehouse not from China. (I had access to see the order in their website) I personally think, this foam lance is pretty good, after I have used it, I would take some time to wait, as it worth it in my opinion. If you’re in Co. Meath area, we can meet up and you even can try it to see it’s worth the investment or not. (As it’s not the cheapest option) hope it helps, Viktor
Yes, I wasn’t aware of that they changed price very recently on their official website. So new price gone up to $89.00. I’m not familiar with AliExpress store, always order from website if I can. In UK amazon the price is still the lower: amzn.to/3K7lYvX In US amazon: amzn.to/3mPnTeV
The dilution ratio is actually right (1:10). What I could do better is to dialing down the water mixture with the adjustable mixer on top of the foam lance. So I could have a better layer of foam which sticks more on the surface. I just wanted to see how thick it can be, but I usually adjusting the mixture to a way where the consistency a bit more like “milky” so it’s not that thick to fall down to quickly. MJJC’s atomizer tends to provide “too thick” foam when by default on maximum “solution” setting on the top.
@@RoadToDetailing yes what ive worked out is not to fill it up as most cars im left with say a third left ,and as i dont like storing the product it ends up geting thrown away as it is essential you wash it out after every use and morso if you use a finishing wax product ,as this will block it up in no time
@@peterr7437 yes, that's right. with the MJJC one I easily use up a liter of solution. (this is also 1 thing I don't like about it tbh.) with MTM's foam gun I use only 45ml solution and 455ml water (1 to 10) and that's enough for the whole car. That's one thing I like about the MTM one and the quailty of materials is even better there. I use a separate "cheap chinese" (10 quid) lance, that is in the video for foam cannon style sealants, so that works for me the best. But I agree that, you need to flush out the equipments after each use, and if you still have product left inside, that's going to be a waste. Which I don't like either.
The MJJC is a quality product and mine has been excellent so far. I don't think I'll go back to using a normal snow foam lance, having a wide neck bottle just makes thing so much easier with easier to fill and especially no falling over
Absolutely Chris! I love the wide neck of its bottle and I’m glad you mentioned that in your comment, because I didn’t say nothing about it, but that’s a cool extra thing I rate so much as well. I have just realized I missed this part out after I finished the editing and upload, so thank you for that! My plan is to have 2 more other lance and give them a go side by side and those 2 are in the same sort of price range, also very popular: MTM PF22 (old version) and Autoglym Polar Blaster. My curiosity won’t stop me having them too 😬
@@RoadToDetailing I have the polar blaster aswell, can't say there is much between from my use of them but I'd lean towards the MJJC as there some free spares with it and the nozzle is a bit better
Thanks for sharing this information Chris! It’s good to hear that, what I’m sort of expecting (in advance without using that yet) from the Polar Blaster’s (being the same foaming capability as MJJC’s), but lacks on some features which MJJC’s strengths, like spare parts and nozzle angles. Amazon has currently a good offer on the Polar Blast so I’m thinking to get it, but I would like to invest the old MTM lance first, but so fat I didn’t find anyone in Ireland just yet (on Amazon sellers don’t send it over here) so I’m still in the research stage with that. 😊 I found a UK store which I could buy from and the shipping cost wouldn’t be a fortune, so that might will be the winner. If you know anyone here, don’t hold that back 🙏😝
Can be, yes. But sometimes the filters gone rusted and clogging up that much, when the only solution is to replace them. In that case, spare parts can be handy. However, MJJC do not supply these “useless” spare parts from mid 2022 in their packages, meaning you are technically right. 👌🏻
