Glad to see she's holding up and the tune is faithful to what we expected :) 100 percent change the intake pipe, makes a huge difference. Let me know if you need anything else!! Keep up the good work guys.
Nice one again. Make a video on that addict S3 you showed at the end with the sidewinder 😂just for the fans. It will be very good for the golf for inspiration 😉
Pre-liked and Reminder set ✨️ Love seeing the mk1 Golf content, reminds me so much of my own back in the early 90's 🙂👌🏻 Keep up the fantastic work guy's 💪🏻 All the Best, Mark 👍🏻
There’s something about them isn’t there 😍 Too Fkin expensive nowadays 😂😂 I believe mine (A174 HFR) is still on the road somewhere Called it heffer, it started life as a 1.2 petty then the lad I bought it off put a 1.6 no turbo diesel in it, 4 speed box, it was slow as shit but it had the looks… Single wiper, euro’d lol And wait for this….. 15 inch TSW Hokenheims !! 😂 I owned it in 1998 and paid £1200 for it
@@Dan23_7 Dan that's awesome 👌🏻 I originally had an Y reg Black 1.6 GTI, Which I kept for a short while, until a mate wanted swap his Silver 1.6 205 GTI, I didn't gell with it, Sold it, and bought myself a, Mk1 1.8 Golf GTI Campaign edition, in a lovely Green, Really wish I'd kept that one 😔 But I later sold that for a 2.0 16v GTE Astra, which was Way faster than the Golf, But I don't miss that half as much as I do the Golf.
@@MarkHossNorthwestrcclub The good old days mate hey !!! I had a 1.9 silver 205 non sunroof I paid £600 for in 2004 😂 A guy I know has a mk2Astra GTE he’s Turbo’d …. Still with the digi dash that works 😂
Love it! As other folk have mentioned badger 5 tip is great, or for the Tesco value version go for a creation motorsport supersize tip! Few folk used to run a relentless exhaust manifold on these bam/amk engines back in the day too and that always helped get near 300 although not sure they are the best build quality lol. Good luck!
My second car (1998) was a Mk1 golf (A reg), loved it. I bought a cabriolet in about 2010 (B reg, Karman, not clipper) Hated it, got rid soon after. They just don’t have “that look” Funny enough I was in Somerset on Wednesday and saw a burgundy Mk1… but… it was a 4 door It’s got to be a 3 door tin top all day. Can’t fookin afford another nowadays 😂
@@MotorAddicts I know mate, a lad I know kid you not has a splitty camper and a Mk1 gti At the time I had my tin top Mk1 he started nut and bolt restoration on the splitty, he finished it about 5 years ago
@@MotorAddicts yeah stock k04-023 won't do 300. The exhaust manifold is far to restrictive on these. With decent mods, 3" TIP needed and a good map 280-290bhp and 300ftlb. Bet its quick as fuck in that golf though lol
