One of the best bolt action designs. I love love love how the bolt goes down and towards the clip. Feels so good when i write that the bolt does not touch my hand

I really like how it's the length of the short Tactile turn but takes the full size gel refill!

Yeah, they moved the bolt way up the back of the pen so they've got more clearance in there, I suppose.

@@inkdependence They do have the pocket modal designed around the parker refill. I just ordered one, mostly for the smaller size

Ooh, this is a really exciting release! Definitely going to give it a look when it drops. My only Karas pen is Bolt V2, but I really like it. I know that one doesn't seem to be as popular for whatever reason, but that's a shame because I think it's a great pen. I love the combination of the knock with the bolt action.

Apparently it went up online today, and has sold out. Hope you caught one, but I'm sure they're going to make more of this model. It's really good.

Of all the Karas offerings, this one intrigues me the most. Love that clip, and it looks like it would sit nice and deep in the pocket as well for everyday carry. How's the actual writing experience? Any major tip wiggle? Does the Modal work well with refills like the Energel or Uni Signo? Thank you for taking a look at this pen, I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for a restock!

I like it best, too. Energels are a bit longer than the G2 refill, and they have a skinny nose cone. You'd want to trim off a little bit of the back and then wrap the metal with a small bit of tape to address the wiggle. The Signo is about the same lengh aside from the nose being a bit longer, and that makes the point stick out a bit longer than the G2 will. Could probably be addressed by trimming the back of the refill, too, I think, if that bothers you.

@@inkdependence Awesome, thank you for the reply! I don't mind trimming a refill, but the tip wiggle would definitely bother me. Maybe not a deal breaker though if it can be addressed well enough with tape.
