The Moebius Mod - Part 25 

Hello, Nadrel here. Changes brought by Moebius on this mission are the following: - You receive Elite Dominion units as reinforcements. - More enemies everywhere with better upgrades. - Longer time before enemy death wave. Changes brought by Nightmare: - Timed. Death wave of zerg spawns if you take too long - Charge defense sections are more chaotic - Flaming betty is a structure (extra damage from banes/omegalisk) - Enemy has an extra weapon and armor upgrade Design Thoughts: If you don't lose units, this mission is not too hard, because you will eventually have a deathball, which is fine considering the number of additional banelings on this map to prevent this. I have a few buffs planned for the Queen which is a bit underwhelming. They will be out next patch. General Comment: I've been missing for the past few days because I was down with a bad case of the virus which shouldn't be named on youtube. Fever is starting to go down and, if I'm well enough, I'm hoping to get at least one more patch out before All-In (trying to make your choice matter between worms and air as it was requested alot in the feedback). Also, I will eventually add the changes comment to the videos where it is missing when I'm better, even if it probably won't be read by many. Have a nice day, Nadrel

RIP to Maddie the Medic and Martin the Marine, both dissolved in baneling acid while on a special operation during the Char campaign. They are heroes of the dominion and will be honored as such.

Prometheus company with 8 armor and stim ? Seems like Mengsk found another response for humanity against the zerg threat.

10:53 I don't think Tychus threw the nade in the wrong direction. When the nade explodes, it clears the growth and debris behind them, letting them move through. I think it was correct.

Apparently you got a ghost from bonuses. Interesting addition to both lore and game, because it makes sense that ghosts were leading those Dominion groups. Nadrel made sure everything is proper from both sides (lore and gameplay)

Now if only there was a Moebius Mod equivalent of Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. I'm drooling just thinking about the weird and interesting redesigns of all the Alternative unit options that are completely subpar on brutal difficulty.

This is easily one of the best mods out there, I gotta say. Insanely fun, innovative, and well balanced.

If Grant is going to do something special for the finale, I hope he goes for killing it all with fire. (Reapers kinda count with the Jetpacks and you need AA.) With Merc support.

Tychus has splash so he would probably be the killing machine. Wouldn't be surprised if the highest kill count belongs to a random ghost though. UPD: yay, got my prediction right.

I thought for sure it was Jimmy clinching the win here, but I was proven wrong. But we got the honor system, so it's not fair to just be wrong quietly. Anyway, really cool changes to this mission. Belly of the Beast is definitely a mission I enjoy a little less each time I replay it, and this looks like it really shakes it up for the better. Love to see it.

Without the grenade, Jim wins by a landslide. However, I noticed the firebats got a bunch of kills too, combined I think they win.

RE: Tychus vs Raynor kill competition. It's gotta be tychus, right? There's so many more light enemies than armoured.

1 Marine lost the entire mission, at the very end.

Contrary to what you might be thinking, the shields of the mobius units are actually weaker than those fully upgraded mercenaries. +2 shield armor, vs +3 life armor.

I Want to see you play again this mod, but with e50 or e100 on every mission... the Ultimate Challenge, almost every unit with random mutation.

you should do challenge runs using the mobius mod. stuff like Herc only 😛, deathless, no attack and armor upgrades, etc

Woah, I just noticed that those Prometheus Company firebats have 8 armor, thats insane!

I think Raynor got more kills, just because you mentioned the grenade not doing as much in this mod, and didn't seem to have an issue finding targets for the penetrator rounds.

My guess was for tychus to have more kills since i remember a handful of like 20+ zerg kill grenades lol

The 75% damage reduction to baneling acid is so much better than the immunity to baneling acid.

This mission seemed to be very undertuned. Look at Grant panick because of the ultras, but they barely tickled his units.

I’m gonna say it here, just out of curiosity, are time limits annoying to anyone else? I’m really not a big fan as usually I prefer to have the option to take my time with things, limited resources feels much better of a limiter, outthought even that I am not a big fan of, hint why I love the infinite mineral as gas patches on this mod.

You only lost two and the first one was a BS glitch. It was a demoin medic that somehow teleported on top of some belingings after they all died to the firebats during the second arming bomb.
