I never take my car to these kind of places, they use acids that destroy your alloys and I've had many a time my car has been scratched when they use their squeegies to wipe the water off. The last time was when they blew off my fuel filler flap on my Mercedes coupe with the jetwasher, all they offered was to glue it back on with tape and a free wash. Never again.
ST220. looked good when it has been cleaned. Can’t wait to see the trotted vehicle when it’s finished. If you have any bother getting anything you need would the car scrap yard maybe any .? Maybe unlikely due to cars age, but it was just a thought.
Scratch n shine no thanks! My mate took his scooby sti to one of these and they put an apple tracker on it and the police traced it back to the car wash.
I personally don't like going to car washes like that as I prefer to do it myself which I have few days ago I wash mine with 3 buckets grit guards snow foam etc I also have a mondeo mk3 st but the tdci version it seems to be a trend at moment where people just complete you on it mine is a black st I've had it 6 years now
What a beauty I bought an ST 150 Tdci in 2005 and had it for seven years and sorry I sold it a great car Just a suggestion when you take the head to be skimmed ask them if they can get you a set of piston rings
No bad for Scottish car Martin 😂😂. Your looking well I get mine done by an Algerian guy he's brilliant does wash vallet and inside does a great job for me charges me £40 i do some mechanical work for him he buys a few motors. I need fix the hinge on my Audi glovebox.
Mk3 Mondeo is the best generation of Mondeo, in my opinion. Our old one went on for years and was used for the dog and any dirty jobs like trips to the tip. We paid £900 for it, and it felt solid, comparable to anything German. Amazing value.
Agreed. I’ve had mk2, mk3, mk3.5, mk4, mk4.5. I always remember Ford trumpeting that the mk4 was cheaper than the mk3.5 - but TBH you could feel it was a cheaper car.
@stevenwesthead636 I had an early mk4 2.5T. It was a beautiful engine (a 5 cylinder turbo charged petrol Volvo engine), but it was clear Ford were broke when it developed and produced the mk4. Everything was so flimsy compared to the mk3.
Bathroom lights from screwfix work well, just be careful to get the right wattage ones. Have one in my Bathroom and it's fine, got one for the shed and it's not as bright. Didn't keep the boxes so couldn't compare them 🙄👍🇮🇪
Martin go the whole hog on the regal lump and hone it yourself with either the honing kits for your drill of like I did hire one. A stand big drill type thing attached by a boingy spring 😂 worked a treat. Agree with you and others MK3 best shape 100%
Looks great Martin as for the glove box they are prone for it as i have had loads of Mondeo and because it is common thing to happen they charge for it on eBay even at my local scrap yard they had all been taken out 👍👍👍👍
Martin great channel mate love ur vlogs Do a series on underneath They all suffer from surface rust and. A major rust preventative is a oil based product While it ain’t got any holes All the best to u and your family
I use to work at a Nissan and Honda dealership detailing, and it was always great to see the finished results of your efforts, were I live in Aussie a full detail is up to $400. I still detail on weekends taking up to 6 hrs a car 🤠😎💯❗
The paint looks so nice and glossy I'm going to have to machine polish mine when the weathers better can't imagine it will look anywhere as nice as yours though
The ST220 is a lovely colour. Have you had it ceramic coated ? Worth it if you havent. I should have looked in previous videos to see if it was there. Sorry if it was.
