Beautiful song. Another masterpiece from John Lodge. Moody blues fan for over 50 years. Seen them 3 times in concert. Each time they are wonderfully melodic. My late wife's favorite group. Keep writing and singing forever John.
The Moody Blues are my and my DDH's favorite Band. Saw them with him, and it was the most special concert I've ever been to. I've seen them 7 times. Miss you my love.. Til we meet again.
Hi Mike I'm sorry for your loss....I can't imagine what you've gone though The Moody Blues have been the same for us Their music is from the heart and have helped me through some hard times God bless you and take care
There are a lot of folks out here in this strange world of ours that have faced many trials and tribulations. Sadness, anger, frustration. But all of us have had moments of pure joy too. Many of mine have come from you and the rest of The Moody Blues. I’ll always be grateful that I lived in the same timeframe as you guys. My Candle of Life burned brighter because of you guys. I hope you know deep down how special you and the other guys are to countless thousands of us. All the best fella from Liverpool.
Jim Morrow, espero, sinceramente, que o John leia estas tuas palavras, que faço minhas também! O Moody Blues é parte importante dos meus 72 anos e sou grato por ainda poder ouví-los ! Grande abraço e muitas felicidades !
Wow, that's a beautiful song in a troubled time. I'm heading to Amazon for this one. It brings me to tears. I would like another Blue Jay's album also. I can hear Justin on this song filling in the harmonies.
Been a Moodies fan since '69 and have seen them countless times. Miss them deeply but seeing John in Phoenix next month. If John and Justin were to reunite, they should call themselves The Bluejays again. Ray and Graham are sadly gone and apparently Mike Pinder is not well.
Beautiful, John. I've been to so many Moodies concerts through my life, from Birmingham in the early 70s to the Hollywood Bowl to Nights in Las Vegas in 2016 and many points in between, and I would love to see your 10,000 light years show. But my most memorable concert was at what was then called "Park West Resort" near Park City, Utah in 1988. I was on the front row facing you, singing along with all the songs. You kept beaming that infectious smile of yours as I was lost in the music. Then at one point I could see you forgot the words. You looked at me, made eye contact and saw what I was singing, and picked it up from there. Seconds later we both broke out laughing for a few seconds. I'm sure no one else noticed, and you likely don't remember, but I'll never forget. And thanks for the bass pick you tossed to me after a concert in Lake Tahoe. It has a place of honor with one of my limited edition autographed Moody Blues prints. How about a western U.S. 10,000 light years tour? I'll be there. Rock on, my friend.
Such a heartfelt beautiful song! So soothing...I listen to it at times I'm feeling angst and stress in my life. I have loved the Moody Blues for many years, so thank you so much, John for you (and Justin) keeping your music coming to us thro these years.
awesome, very awesome! Thank you from a hardcore 50 plus year fan...keep the music coming and get back with your brothers, the world could use some new Moodies music
I love The Moody Blues and have several of their albums. I even had the pleasure of seeing them in concert in 1986. It's so nice to hear this new song and see a great artist from the good ol'days still producing great music!
For those of us that partially tripped our way through the early 70's, you'll enjoy the orchestral music and the video that took us to world's unknown and universes beyond. My Mom and a high school friend together created an incredible Tie Dye sheet that looked like outer space and the Moody Blues and LSD allowed planetary travel through the universe. Yes, wild times. This video brought me right back with fond memories of really good times. Enjoy the music, the vocals, the entirety of this creation. For my friends that enjoy the psychedelic experience that mushrooms provide I suggest watching this and other Moody Blues music from the late 60's and early 70's.
I just watched a fascinating interview with Donald Hoffman (one of the worlds leading cutting edge scientists regarding understanding the nature of reality). In the talk he mentions that psychedelics such as mushrooms etc may indeed be (and I'm paraphrasing here): "primitive 'technology' that helps us decode or hack the universe.." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dd6CQCbk2ro.html
LOVE the Moody Blues! The Blue Jay's are A great extension! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A NEW COLLABORATION BETWEEN THEM! I'M NEVER DISAPPOINTED when I listen to there music! I HOPE that They Continue to bring us great music! CLASS ACT!! BEEN INTO THIS BAND SINCE 1969!.And followed there SOJOURN!
I never would have believed it but, he is better on his own than with the Moodies. They were just touring as a geatest hits jukebox but, on his own he is giving us albums and I understand that one may be on the way...
Takes me back to the 1970s when I counted MB as my 2nd favorite group (after Pink Floyd). Great to hear such a great song from one of their members, after all these years.
I love this song so much for many reasons. Enjoy every moment and be kind. Awesome lyrics and beautiful graphics. Thank you, keep shining, the world badly needs it.
É uma surpresa quando aparecem novos temas dos elementos dos Moody,lembro-me do tempo em que esperava que saíssem os novos álbuns dos Moody nesse tempo ainda eram gravações em discos de vinil
