As far as I know, there is no English version for this song, for which the original singer was Terasa Teng, who is the most renowned Chinese female singer EVER. I am on a quest to listen to every single rendition of this song. I absolutely fell in love with it from the Thai rendition for the series Moonlight Chicken, so I went in search of the original. I just absolutely love the way in which each singer makes this song their own. Zhao Peng's matter-of-fact rendition, the way he delivers it makes me feel like a person who's broken-hearted, who is reminiscing about that one person who may no longer be there. It's so different from the innocent and soulful way Teresa sang it, more like a proclamation telling the whole world of her feelings. I love it! I am in absolute love with this song and all its iterations!

I'm a regular listener to good music without much technical knowledge or to understand the complexity of the sounds, but enough to know what I like. This song really is beautiful although I don't understand a word of it. The singer's deep voice is really unique, and the back up music is so nice too. So far I have listened to this wonderful piece for at least 40 times in the past few weeks, and now I believe the understanding of the wording isn't the most important thing than to appreciating the rhythm first.
