Dude the interior of your ship even without any functionality is the work of art and the bedrooms i never felt so much comfort in the game just by looking at it.

The super jazzy music, no commentary and steampunkness of the mod sells the comforting and homely vibe so well

i'd love to see a renewable airship where all of the things used (e.g. food) are generated on the airship kind of like an all-in-one type deal so you never have to touch the ground again a concept i'd wanna see with this idea would be something like a circular conveyer belt where food is automatically cooked and placed onto it by mechanical arms (hopefully with a way to stop overflow)

Oh Archimedes ships mod, my beloved, how you've grown over the years. No matter what form it takes it's always gonna be that old 2014 mod for airships coz that shit was perfect.

I imagine this in a roleplaying MMO server with civilisations, and this being one way of crossing vast distances to get to another civilization

Just a heads up to anyone else who sees this video and downloads the schematic: to kickstart the engines and the ship itself you must activate the windmill bearings on the sides and bottom. It took a ridiculously long time for me to figure that out, and it turns out the creator clarified this later. Should’ve looked here first 🤦‍♂️.

I'm bouta start learning how to make efficient use of the create tech using as little space possible just so I can build a flying fortress once this mod comes out

it'd be so cool to havelarge storage at the bottom, and if you ever need to refuel on items stop at a factory- esque base where one of the smoke stacks has the storage interface so you can seemlessly get some coal, food, iron, etc from a production base.

I am not good at designing or mechanics in Minecraft that much but this build is really decent! It feels like it was made to be a good transport ship for voyages or it could be armed to the teeth for wars.

I think you will be able to tell distance with a block in aeronautics, so maybe you can make the ship go down when boarding aswell to make the boarding process faster

I’ve been building a mega airship for quite some time I hope for it to come in comparison to your beautiful ships. I was just curious on one thing I haven’t quite figured out and that was on the rope pulley mechanism, do you have any video tutorials on it ?

Could try building a train with each carriage dedicated to one assembly line in the create process, so you can pack up the whole train and have a massive mobile base that makes evreything you'd ever need, just disassemble it somewhere, and make whatever you could want or need.

honestly i would love some mobile structures, like a passing airship which you can board with an elytra or a smaller vessel

I think, by using minecart contraption and glue the whole structure you could make the airship moveable

if you want it to really work, use valkyrie skies and add some balloon blocks and it will fly easily

Nice!! Lol I'm hoping that they manage to deal with entities, and also liquids... liquids are even hard to use without a tank/cauldron in vanilla create (trains)!

I can already see what I will make with this in my mod pack: I will make a blimp like this with cameras from a camera mod like security craft facing the engines and below and in some rooms and also I will have infinite energy coming from a train going back and forth from the nether scooping up lava and taking it back perhaps. I will also have a little navigation room with a huge map floor and a compass by the control room since I use the biome and structure compass I can easily sail around the world. Also a mini trading hall and a farm and a ranch to. And also a plane/helicopter dock at the top where I can put a plane on and fly down if I so need and also a elevator like this.

This Airship looks absolutely beautiful. I have built a lot of houses and ships in Vanilla and drawn a lot of citys from my fantasy, but have always struggled with Airships. Maybe you have some advice for designing the outside and layout of an airship?

thats amazing i would have made the baloonpart bigger it looks rather wierd like this but thats my opinion can that move would be awsome to combind with aplied energistics and maby a sort of quarry function mobile base

Very well thought, I'd recommend that you'd use the valkyries mod and Create which will let you actually move your ship in real time. Nevertheless great video, just got one more sub!

I hope this one will fly and be able to support its own weight and not tip over, once aero releases. Its gonna be a while until it releases. Did you see the new website post?

Hey can you build an aerial tramway to the top of that mountain near you? Look it up. Also, use chunk loaders and optifine for it to work better. Make it create themed and make it steep

If you reverse the glass blocks and glass Pains Inside the botanical garden it'll give it a round at look. Don't know if you knew that.

Why not use Valkyrien Skies? I know some people dislike it, but it's a good mod to use while we wait

This would be awesome with having distance horizon. Some shaders (version 2.0 of distance horizon now works with some shaders) and playing with friends.
