The Most Annoying Challenge in Phasmophobia 

He got so lucky getting no rain and having that central hiding spot.

I learnt that after completing the challenge, but you can actually use the tier 2 UV even if the flashlights are off. It doesn't make any light, but it still shows fingerprints and footprints.

This challenge was easily the most I've struggled with any to date, surpassing even the apocalypse one. The combination of missing UV, no smudge sticks, super aggressive ghosts, and all the Camp Woodwind-isms, made this challenge absolute hell. I'm pretty sure it's only 2 evidence, too; I had a Thaye that never showed DOTS, and Thayes are supposed to do DOTS more often. Then again, the possibility that I could have gotten unlucky is always there; I've had Banshees take 11 noises to scream...

Is the silent hunting glitch still not fixed? Just got killed twice without listening any sound of ghost and none of them were myling

Me and my friends were hella lucky with this weekly cus we got Deo, but all 3 of us were hiding IN THE SAME SPOT , one of us was like "what if it's a Deo and we're all fucked" and 1 stood outside in the van and 2 Hantus lol

The most annoying one for me still goes to the Hide and Seek one on the High School, I remember I had a game during that challenge where I searched the entire map multiple times to never find it so I had to give up and leave and come back lol

You can loop on the outside of the campfire along the logs. The ghosts keep getting stuck between the logs and as long as you can keep yourself opposite from them you can survive the whole hunt.

This challenge was really weird in almost all the games me and my bros played. We had Yureis that moved as fast as Revenant, Demon not stepping on any of the salts that it shouldn't be able to avoid, Yokai the acted like Deogen, Raiju that didn't speed up moving through all the amount of equipment we threw down as test.

It was definitetly 3 evidence, but UV is such a common evidence it seems that with it being not accessible, it feels like 2 evidence only. Also, I cheesed it a bit with the timer in that I'd throw all the evidence items into the map before opening the gate and then use the 1 minute timer to place and get evidence. The timer doesn't start until the gate is opened so you can get all the evidence items at least in the map before the 150% ghost blows you up lmao! I kept rolling fog on this map so I had to leave so many times cause I refuse to play Camp WW in fog.

Funniest run I had with 3 randoms was most of us dying for like 6 games in a row, then when I clearly broke line of sight to hide using my teammate in the distance as bait, I came out of the hiding spot seeing all of us alive. I was like "This is VERY Banshee" and a while later someone gets a scream. Also looped my first ever 150% speed ghost out of necessity, was a nice milestone

i got extremely lucky on this weekly.. polty explosion, hantu's breath and wraith's no-salt. phew!

I believe you can still loop around the campfire. I did it do may times when I did this challenge.

This was fairly hard, I've only just started playing Phas about 2 weeks ago. Not having a flashlight and UV makes it unnessasarily annoying. Took me about 12 attempts to complete the challenge with my friends.

I got lucky with a team of four. I didn't realize someone put a motion sensor at the campfire, so a Raiju made me think Thaye, but after that it was straightforward. Twins difference was easy to hear (after the teammates died so I could listen), Oni blinking with all lights turned on was easy to spot, and four people meant a lot of coverage to block a Shade from hunting. Better than it could have been!

UV still works even if it doesnt technically work :D You can turn it "on" and "shine" on where the ghost touched and it shows fingies. Just need to remember if the uv light is "on" or "off" cause no visual clues :D

I still have to do this challenge too. Got so mad yesterday i went and watched Psycho and helped some people with their mic problems 😂

At first I assumed this challenge had no evidences until I discovered EMF 5 once, but most of the time I died even the ghost was guessed right (with educated guess) because I haven't learned the bench table dash kite exploit, which looks like just some gamebreaking horseshit of convenience, and I discovered given hiding spots late. Still beat the challenge though.

We got killed 3 times in a row by a Shade. Always fog or rain, never got the central hiding spot. The available hiding spots was always at the ghost room. This challenge was hell.

This was the first challenge i ever tried and the 150% speed without light sucked so hard

I struggled a lot with this challenge. It was so hard to get DoTs to catch relevant ghosts and they seemed to roam so much that freezing temps was almost never found. Missed a wraith because it showed a footprint in salt on my screen, but not for friend. picked myling a few times went there was silence bug. and died in safe spots a lot (though my escape prowess is no where near Insyms). Oh I also wrong guess a poltergeist when it threw 2 objects at the same time and turned out to be an obake.

You actually CAN loop the ghost. The picnic table has a spot where you can just go left to right and the ghost will follow that pattern. It's the top right corner closest to the campfire. I even managed to loop a full speed Moroi that way until the hunt ended.

I think I get the idea of the challenge. Long time ago when I went to a week long camping trip with a local Church, Hide and Seek at night was one of the more popular games. People who were seeking got flashlights while the people who were hiding did not. Idea was to just hide and if you got spotted by the flashlight it was game over. Given that the flashlights and similar don't work and the map is the camp, I'd like to think it's the same idea.

I did that challenge, had Raiju and two Revenants, and many deaths between. And i am a rather new to this game, so new that i don't have a badge with level on my arm. My first game was during the Halloween challenge.

To those doing this challenge, the UV light still shows UV. It just doesn't project the purple light circle. Really dumb

i never got freezing in this challenge because ghost hunted, roamed too much. Then there is also no UV light and ghost doesnt have no normal speed to identify easily and you barely can see the ghost without dying. No flash light for some reason. Got Mimiced twice. Also died in the hiding spot. Best challenge ever.:D

I want to get the 10 weeklys done. So I had to go in and learn fairly quickly after playing for nearly 3 months. It was hard af. But 30 tries, and I ran into a Deo, Banshee and a wraith. So that helped tremendously.

I tried this challenge with some friends and we just get destroyed. Ghost is way too fast. We survive longer blocking the ghost's path with the logs at the campfire and hardly get any evidence

I was just cheesing this challenge. I tried to do this "intended way" but I guess it was skill issue not finding evidences, being on top of the ghost when they started hunting and crucifixes being eaten left and right. I guess it's a challenge, but damn, I did not understand this one. I've got it with Phantom, Obake and Rev behind the bench, all because of hunting abilities. So I guess I was hiding? Maybe it was indeed the intended way.

fyi, despite the uv flashlight not giving off any light, you can (apparently) still see fingerprints and footsteps

The UV flashlight still shows fingerprints even if flashlights are disabled.

I got 2/3 but I rage quit because I thought it was a myling so many times and the one time I stop saying myling it actually is one, can't wait for this bug to be fixed XD

You can still very much loop the campfire well outside around the logs

Hey crazy question i hope you see this so you could test it out and perhaps even put it in your next video when u tried it. Can you wish for clear skies with the monkey paw on dark maps and maybe get daylight? That would be amazing.

I did it once, had a poltergeist do a power throw. Lucky then i tried a few more and gave up. Will try again.

If you turn your brightness up all the way and turn in skylight then you’ll see better in camp woodwind

i'm pretty sure it's really 2 evidence and speedy ghost with no sanity and without flashlights normal and uv as an evidence. so basically if you have a ghost with uv evidence you're doomed. i was playing it with my partner and on one run we spent like 40 minutes and still get the ghost wrong tho on the other one when it was revenant we died happily knowing well yeah it did change it's speed and we left it undone bc we got bored and tired so this challange i never wanna play again

In the first run I think the ghost saw you from inside the tent.

I definitely didn't enjoy this one. Barely managed to get it done with a shot in the dark yurei guess. I kept getting them so after I had some bad luck of from some random bad hunt, I took a wild guess. My first ghost I figured out was the twins. Figured it from activity. No recollection of the second correct ghost. I struggled a lot just trying to find the ghost room most of the time. I also almost never got that middle hiding spot. It was rough.

They also did not nerf the campfire loop With the 150% it freaks out and breaks 😂

I fortunately got Jinn Obake and a Deo (deo is still very slow). Jinn was a wild guess but I saw a light turn on and couldn't remember if Jinn did or not

Played this challenge with one teammate! took us four hours to get through. He's a casual player, I knew some of the secondary evidence thanks to a whole lot of channel watchtime. We sort of cheated, texted if one of us died. But we wanted that 5k! Awful challenge, the speed messed us up, as did the lack of flashlights. Then again, tier one.. would not have been much help. If the devs reversed the insane darkening they did in the recent update, we'd have had so much more fun!

i managed to do it but i had to rely on guesses from hunt speed, the ones i got right were revenantx2 and deogen

Way harder, had non-stop ghosts running in my hiding spot and had a goryo, a poltergeist and a myling

Am I just too unlucky or what I tried like 5x and I have never had the middle hidding spot actually even the small tents were blocked I think I got like 1 hidding spot always ? I dont even know where I can hide there

I got 3 mares in a row and I couldn't find the room at any point due to foggy weather over and over

This weekly was super easy for me I got a revenant back to back to back.

How could you tell that it was EMF 5 when the ghost turned off the breaker at the beginning of the investigation? I’m pretty new to the game

Does seeing your breath no longer mean freezing temps? I mean it makes sense to just see your breath when it is cold but I know that used to be a thing

This challenge was not fun - it took me 90 minutes. Eventually I learned to turn on a couple lights and quickly try to find the ghost room and get what evidence I could. But I think this challenge only offers 2 evidence, which makes it particularly annoying.

When will they fix the sound bugs??

Hello! Started out a week ago, and every single hunt never seems to end. I have been waiting even 10 minutes, and the ghost just keeps looking for me, i can hear it. Playing at amateur, level 6. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
