Bobby is someone who’s not only scared to go out his comfort zone, but just extremely lazy. He just a lazy person in general. Always late to film pods, never cleans after himself, sleeps in until like 2pm, etc etc.
Bobby wasn't lying when he said he loves hanging out with fans after the show. He can't do that in stadiums. I met him after a show and he gave a gracious amount of time with everyone on the way out of the club.

Probably because they’re on Ari’s side. Ari doesn’t like Bobby, because Bobby knew about Natasha cheating on Ari back in the day, but kept it a secret from him by lying straight to his face about it. Ari can be petty about loyalty like that. It’s either that, or Bert setting the tone for it. Because Bert doesn’t like it when he can’t work himself into an interview as an analogy, an example, or with an anecdote. He also goes behind people’s backs a lot, possibly preprogramming Joe. Then again, Bobby isn’t as likeable as many might think, so it might also be the chemistry of two or all three of these options

Ari and Bobby had it out physically about all that years ago, and given how everyone including Rogan was roasting Bert alive on the most recent Sober October cast, I think they are all just getting tired of Bert. Bobby on Rogan was that tone because I think Joe wanted to just get into whatever Bobby has been up to because he doesn't seem him as often now that he's in Austin.
I think its two things: Bobby made Joe feel like a bitch/put him in a very dangerous situation with the gangbangers and secondly Bobby doesnt suck up to Joe as much as other people
The fact anyone defends that woman will forever baffle me. She snaked her way into Bobby's life to ride on his coattails and then when she had what she wanted she left him. I've listened to their podcast for a very long time and it's very obvious she knew the kind of person Bobby was and exactly what kind of relationship he wanted. She had every chance in the world to get out before it was too late but she didn't because she wanted that spotlight. She's just a gross person no matter how you slice it.

I think Bobby is content doing his schtick across his podcasts and performing as an opener for his more successful friends. There's nothing wrong with that, if anything, he seems to know his limits or keep himself within them - we rip on Schaub for continually doing shit without being ready and Bobby is the opposite of that either in knowing he isn't ready/never wants to be or he's afraid to go for it. He's got a cushy lil setup doing what he's doing and given that he's got all these big time friends he's never gonna HAVE to push through his comfort zone. I'd imagine the copy right strike was more Santino or the team than Bobby (Bobby doesn't have the follow through to copy right strike someone, especially seeing how guilty he claims to feel when he hurts ppl). I like your theory that if it was Santino who ordered the strike it was more driven by his not wanting to draw attention to the tension his comments created, potentially draw more discerning eyes to past episodes, comments, dynamics etc.
The difference between Bobby and Schaub, and I can’t believe I have to say this, is Bobby is one of the funniest live performers doing it rn. And that’s the reason his friends push him to actually do a special.

One of the goals of comedy is for people to not take things too seriously and these videos are all about taking comedians too seriously, it’s missing the point, and it’s weird to expect comedians to not just be like everyone else: full of flaws, which is normal

Bobby Lee is the type of guy you can't really have normal conversations with, without him being sarcastic the entire time. You pretty much have to get him uncomfortable or probe him with other people present to make him break character for the real Bobby to come out. It seems a bit exhausting to interact with him in any way where it's not cracked out but then you can't take him seriously ever.

I've soured on Joe Rogan over the past few months. He does not listen to guests anymore. He just brings up the same shit to each guest and talks over them the whole time. It's like he's heard everything so he thinks he knows what people will say, OR, he wants to talk over them to tell them about all the craziness going on in the world. Either way, it's annoying as fuck.

The truth is that the video was taken down because it was a huge misunderstanding and misread of the situation with projected emotions rather than the reality of the bit played between comedians and old friends. They weren't hurt about what was said, they just didn't want it to be flipped into something it wasn't
