I think you crapping on Rocs actually made me try one to see why. And then I actually loved them and hated myself for it lol. Hated myself so much that I traded several good mids for more of them while crying and eating potato chips with a spoon.
Right now I bag a mako3 that I love for straight shots. Today I found a buzzz that seems pretty new but wasnt marked by anyone. The buzzz seems just a bit more stable than the mako3 and I like that but I worry if I start to throw the buzzz a lot it will lose the extra stability that I like. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Would I be better off getting something like a buzzz os or emac truth?
Buzzz os sucks imo. Was my first disc, still have it, never got in the bag. (When I got a bag) Got me a jawbreaker zone, beats in to straight after 2 weeks of hitting first available.
It's a crapshoot. Mako3 and Buzzz overlap a lot. I prefer my Mako3 for straight shots and the Buzzz for forehands. If I am honest, I don't throw either of them much. Colorado is Hyser town.
Guilty on that Teebird, Thunderbird, Firebird combo. Was more of a water Blue guy myself ;). Funny enough I hardly throw them cause understable discs fit my game better. Funny vid
when my max was around 450ft i could score -16 under but now that my max has improved to 600ft im more like -9 under at same exact course haha.. i have to aim so much further left now then i used to almost throwing right at the trees and then they just go around it etc. now i also have to power down but before i could throw almost every disc the same speed etc. ironic tbh!
Boring are people who use a Valkyrie, or Valkyrie/Archon Combo provided Archon is not a 0 glide Champion. they throw low like so low a normal distance driver is never going to work like a Beast. Only 60+ guys I ever see throwing an Egale and is less beefy normal flatter toped runs. Also, Shark is a mold I use but in no longer made Star plastic around 175 grams as people who are forcing beginner pack weights need to rethink approach to disc golf. People still using an Avenger, not SS are probably ones who still say minus 1 stroke for hitting a non disc golfer during a PDGA sanctioned event like a C tier or low end B tier like a funny joke when I have been hit by an Avenger during 2008 Quad K in Rapid City by guys cheating who were over box thinking gravel to keep end of box erosion down was end of tee pad runway, not concrete and were ban for round 2. I was forced to play both ways as on a fallen tree and below on a hole issue and guys could not wait as I had a stuck foot under fallen tree when player threw disc on same hole we were on becuse in 2000's pre 2009 you had to have full group on votes, another reason we could not have group behind us play though same old guy who used old rule of distraction on his putts so he could use longer hen 30 seconds at or over 30 feet but under 34 feet as he learned PDGA rules pre 1985 where instead of over 10 meters or 34 feet, 30 feet was old standard minimum for jump putts.
I throw my Aviars ~330ft in a straight line and they sit where they land. Absolutely the most boring disc in my bag, can't even argue. The Mako3 and the Buzzz are tied for the most boring discs in my eyes.
