You can get the Republican Spain achievement even more easily : -Turn off the dlc (LaR) -Do political focus and hire the communist advisor -Delete all units then start the communist civil war (through the decision tab) -Recruit units, deploy them asap and close to victory points (I recommend using 2 width cavalry) -You should be able to grab enough victory points before the other Spain deploys units -You will get the achievement when you win the civil war as the game considers you to be Republican Spain Note that the scripted civil war will fire at some point so you can get unlucky and get an early scripted civil war but it's uncommon

I have never played hoi4, i dont even own a pc. I dont watch any other hoi4 channels. Theres just something about watching this man torture himself with a videogame that i find cathartic.

When you get to playing as Greece to restore Byzantium, and do Bad Romance achievement, you can do the Force Farmers into Factories and go down to crack down on foreign monopolies, and keep 11-12 civilian factories from the focus there that requires high relations with Balkan nations, as that focus is only a one-time check of high relations for permanent off-map civilian factories. So you do get both a great economy, far more recruitable population, and just a number of free Factories.

2:46 little correction: you don't have to be the one caping the ussr but you need 15% warscore AND occupy moscow during the war. How do I know? Because that's why I didn't get the achvievement. 4 times.

About the Warsaw uprising achievement: doing the exact same thing as what isorrow does in the video, there seems to be a random chance for the resistance missions to disappear. I got up to about 50% resistance when the operation vanished, and despite the fact that Tuva had 0 manpower, it had gained enough compliance that resistance was slowly going down. Seems it’s sadly based on rng, like so many others

When I did Republican Spain achievement before La Resistance, I took the cheese 1 step further. Side with Franco first, immediately join Germany's faction while you can. They won't interfere directly in the civil war until world tension is high enough, then sided with Republicans in civil war. only had to deal with Italian Volunteers, and no German ones

To get Big Entente, you can do this: -Have Germany do Oppose Hitler and win the civil war -Make them go democratic, and afterwards invite them to the Little Entente

You can actually get the achievement for winning the Spanish Civil War as the Republicans without going the Republican path. If you go the Anarchist path and beat the Nationalists before the Anarchist uprising (really easy if you make sure to keep Burgos or Valladolid so your northern and southern fronts are connected, I beat them over a month early last time I tried and I'm not good at the game), you can get both achievements in the same playthrough. I haven't tried it for the communist paths, so I'm not sure if it also works for them.

I think you can or at least you could get the warsaw uprising achievement by just letting it be done to you

When you're doing the achievement where you get horthy as an admeral on a battleship, try going fascist and join the axis and take either Austria or Czechoslovakia build a bunch of 5 width and do the same thing you did with Finland once you win the war just anax it all and take there nave and finally assign horthy to a battleship and you should get the achievement I haven't tested if it worked since I don't have any of the DLC's, so I'm sorry if it doesn't work.

Funny story: When Britain voted to leave the EU some lesser hoi channel released a video as “modern” Britain and went Fascist. Whuck is really funny as ISP points out, because Mosley was one of the earliest supporters of the EU.

you dont need to cap them actually. just hold moscow when they do cap. this achievement was actually one of the more fun ones. i didnt switch communist. just built forts and used equip capture cheese. soviets would grind against my forts and fill me up with guns, arty and even tanks. then when germany attacks. push out to moscow

Hey ISP, I have a suggestion for the grand campaign for this year. Wouldn't it be possible for you too invite some other youtubers as antagonist in your grand campaign. They would give a good balance too those campaigns as they could form some empires which could oppose you. Like invinting Laith and Ludi et historia for eu4 and Tommy and bokoen for hoi4. Would love too see a big colab between all the paradox games youtubers.
