i know im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any help you can give me.
@Leo Amari I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Curtis Wilson our country is full of dickheads who think we’re gonna tolerate racism any longer. We are not our ancestors or grandparents. Say some racist shit and expect a bang to the face
@@jsiabot3467 so if a racist calls black people violent, your response is 'expect a bang to the face'. Wouldn't that make the prove 'racist' persons point? I swear you people don't think before opening your mouths...
This is also the first Brit Awards where a generation of Black Britain will look up to Black artists who are entirely from communities that are no different from their own backyards for inspiration.
@john smith idk if that comparison really works out. I'm sure like all rap there's going to be crime and money and women related boasting of course, but the brit side seems to be more politically interested and not afraid to be (or at the least look) intelligent and knowledgeable of topics other than the run of the mill rap stuff.
It's just a reversal of what others would label the left as, it's about as cool as saying "no u". This is why nothing gets fixed, 8yr old tier bants being pushed as clever.
Dave is the voice of our generation, as a white male I won’t ever encounter racism in my life however the way our world is at the moment is vile and disgusting our black brothers and sisters shouldn’t live in fear because of the colour of their skin
@@qwerty1234234 that's an untrue definition spread by certain media, nonetheless in certain institutions even in the uk white people can experience your version of racism. Or normally from any person in the street they can receive regular racism. If someone is white and Jewish that that is increased ten fold.
@@NoPointsHarry rarer than white on black racism certainly, still exists in significant enough amounts in the UK. Institutionalised racism is different from regular racism though and there is a problem with that in the uk.
This series is so underrated! Funny how all the people who shout "Snowflake!" are the first ones to defend the status quo and get offended by the idea of change.
@@NanaGlover are we going to forget he called black people those that have watermelon smiles? There are other things he said but i forgot them now considering I don't care anymore. Nothing will change.
I lack an ear for most rap and hip hop, but more power to Dave for using the art form to say something that HAS to be said, Provoking a discussion that HAS to be discussed.
And mate, I've gotta say, you are brave to post about this subject right now. I scrolled down the comments section expecting some serious hate from the "fragile types" and for once I was happy to see that it wasn't there. But let's see how long it takes them to get brave enough to start the trolling. Anyway, love and respect for bringing this topic up at this crucial time.
Dave is a genius, his songs are literally works of art. Even 1 line in his songs can be interpreted with multiple meanings. If what people took away from Dave's song is that hes anti-white then they completely missed the point and are deflecting it cos of the title of the song or some secret racial prejudice or victim complex and nothing more. There is no actual prejudice in the song he simply says black people deserve to be treated as humans like everyone else. Society has a real problem towards those who are not like them and this isnt just white people (which baffles me why they take so much offence) but even other origins view blacks or others in certain ways. I had an asian friend of mine once tell me that black people are the cause of crime in his area and now I'm not in contact with this individual and ever since then I stopped talking to them cos its appalling that people of different cultures hold such racist stereotypes towards each other. This was a song for everyone to understand that not everyone can be painted under the same brush. 1 can even interpret the song from their own perspective cos in some way we all feel wronged in this forsaken world so maybe its time we stopped hating on each other for empowering our people be it black, white, asian, muslim, Christian, jew or whatever and instead we should take pride in our origins not tell others to not take pride in theirs.
Tracks I’d love to see in NBC: -Bloc Party-Banquet -Chase and status-blind faith (basically, a video dedicated to UK Bass acts, like James Blake, Sampha, Jamie XX, Disclosure, Burial). -Dizzee Rascal-Fix up look sharp -Goldie-Inner City Life -Gary Numan-are friends electric? -La Roux-Bulletproof -Lily Allen-The Fear -Michael Kiwanuka-You ain’t the problem (I’d love a vid on new British soul and jazz, like Jorja, Comet is Coming, Laura Mvula, Sampha). -Pet Shop Boys-west end girls -Skepta-Shutdown -Tears for Fears-Sowing the seeds of love. -The 1975-The Sound/Love it if we made it.
Some ideas for New British Canon: Dizzee Rascall- fix up look sharp PJ harvey- 50 ft queenie The slits- typical girls Pulp- common people Crass- punk is dead Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
"People complained. More than three hundred people in fact." Millions of people watch the BRIT awards. This Video has just under 200,000 views at time of writing, and has 250 dislikes. So this supposed 'Most controversial BRIT awards performance ever' is proportionately much less controversial than this very video. What the fuck are you talking about?
I'd like to see summat on manchester Hip Hop from the early 00's or even the current underground scene there from the likes of the Levelz cru, and people who came through like Dub Phizix, Gaika, Murkage Dave, Skittles and others who don't get the listens because Manchester is obsessed with its past
its sad that people of my country our offended by a song talking about a mans race the country's a disgrace a layabout a waste the government has forgotten about tragedy's and problems that has swept the nation and now people our getting up in arms about music seriously. i saw this performance live and it gave an extraordinary atmosphere
It has a lot to do with white people feeling called out. And, they can’t talk about their race in the same way because what could they say that isn’t already written in the history books.
White is not an identity, but black is a reductionist label imposed on a wide variety of people, a label then hijacked and transformed by those people into something more inclusive.
Give Thiago Silva a spin - it's not that lyrically deep but I love it as a grime banger. Am 38 and been listening to grime for near 20 years and it is defo one fo those that would work in the club in the early 00's
Grime is good, like Roots Manuvra and the Streets. And even Slick Rick is another good springboard for UK hip hop because of his strong American influence.
Not even close. Wallace Thurman's first novel, The Blacker the Berry: A Novel of Negro Life (1929) takes its title from an old folk saying, “the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice.”
Quite honestly my favorite piece. I’ve loved all your trash theories, but this one was so deep and definitely timely. Thanks for sharing and opening my eyes on the struggle blacks in Britain are having getting their voices heard through music.

Dave has been getting bigger and bigger since first making waves in the U.K. rap scene in 2015. Check out the difference between his Blackbox freestyle from 2015 and all his releases since
Actually it originates from the title of a book written in 1929. Pam Grier said it in Foxy Brown as well - that movie came out in 1974. Probably should educate yourself a bit on that.
@@thert.hon.thelordnicholson7261 uh, I'm really doubting his based it on the book, there's 4 options and it doesn't really matter which he took it from all that matters is that he got a point across you snowflake
I love your videos on british tension between the media, politicians and those who are brave enough to speak up, especially through music. Do you know if you’ll make a video on IDLES and they’re push for true equality in our new mixed cultural society?
The fact that Dave's performance was the most complained about followed by kanye's just shows how racist this country is, try argue with me and you blatantly didn't see what happened in London yesterday. Fucking appaling

I don't know a lot about Grime or UK hip hop, it doesn't have a lot of exposure here in the states. but this kid seems pretty smart and like he's got something to say.

Most Complained....honey no...black by Dave was beautiful it was not controversial at all I had tears in my eyes because of that powerful performance anyways Americans...well..everyone....listen to Dave he’s amazing, real and more. + some uk rap 🙌🏽 And Samantha was a boppp I still remember when it came out 😂
Wow. Pointing out, what went wrong, and who should have handled it, is racist??? He didn't even paint a whole "group", with the same brush either. Those racists, that phoned in, are now on a list lol.
Speaking of which, can you do a video on how Hip Hop became Hip Hop? You could discuss bands like James Brown and Parliament/Funkadelic and the origins of sampling
The fact there were complaints to this, shows Daves song wasn’t in vain and while he’s we might be one of the least racist but as he said “the least racist is still racist”
Dave a proper old socialist luvie .Wait till the Inland come a calling .Watch his hard earned cash disappear.Dave get your accountant to check an offshore bank account.
I think Stormzy's freestyle was more controversial tbh. Boris was an outspoken racist and had been criticised before but Stormzy was the first person to call out the government like that.
Perhaps you should've included all the times when Labour accused British people of being racist, because they said there's too many immigrants coming here.
I'm over here across the pond and had no idea about this artist. Now I know about him, and will be diving more into his catalog. Your videos are well produced, full of incite. I definitely feel you released at the right time. It is important to educate ourselves. We must change ourselves as a society both over here and abroad. As Killer Mike has said, its time to organize, stratigize, and mobilize. Let us who wish for a better future come together, elect politicians who feel as we do, make it happen, make a better future for all.
Probably the greatest Brits performance ever. For 3 reasons it’s an amazing song, told both great stories and truths but the backlash was the best, the racists ratting them selves out. My generation and the generation before me are called snowflakes, why? Because even know we are different races we hate racists. I’m white never experienced racism however I want to help end racism. We are hated on for campaigning but yet nothing changes. Yes what happened was in America but systematic racism exists everywhere, whether that’s looking for jobs or where people grow up or how often they get stoped and searched by the police it still exists. When we get called snowflakes or this when Dave was reported for racism in his songs it shows that we are hitting a nerve. Lastly we are now 3 years removed from Grenfell what changed? 56,000 people still at risk due to the shit cladding. Nothing will change staying silent.
How is this controversial, I'm not into his music, but I would never say it was bad. Did everyone forget about NWA, Ice T, Ice Cube, Da Lench Mob, KRS One (and on and on) that was 40 years ago and whatever Dave's said today still isn't anywhere near as mad as what they said...even by todays standards.
A black man spreading an honest statement of with dignity and class should not intimidate you. Is people acting care free about the struggle of life, what you expect? If so you are proving the point of “white outrage”
This was an amazing video I would love to see this type of analysis across a wide variety of hip hop and cultural music to spread awareness that it is not all base level
Great video mate. Not a big fan of Dave's music myself, but I respect him as an artist and for the positive elements he has brought to UK rap. I hope more artists will follow his lead.
