I've recently started working at a bank (I've been here a year) and I CANNOT begin to tell you how MANY elderly people come in wanting to send money to their fiance that they've never met. Genuinely this channel has helped (me) identify and stop 4 different scams (and we're a very small bank). It happens so much more often than I ever would've thought. Unfortunately there's some people that just can't be convinced no matter what happens

Out of nowhere the scammer drops this sudden bombshell about Josh showing up to her house and murdering her, with the nonchalance of an everyday occurrence. My grandmother (god rest her soul) got scammed by these phone scammers years ago, so ever since I found out about Kit and his videos, I’ve been addicted to watching his content, because I get that extra personal satisfaction of Kit absolutely clowning on these fools in the most hilarious way possible. I never knew my grandparents, but Kit's channel is great to share with my dad's elderly neighbors, it's more memorable than just a warning. Like if we just warn people about scams, they don't know what to expect; but when we share funny videos, they can actually hear the kinds of things the scammers try to use, and when something makes you laugh, you're more likely to remember it. (That's why ads often use humor.)
