I don't feel bad for the scammers but I worry about their wives, I know it's sexist because women can be abusive too but I worry about the male scammers getting so angry. It's triggering I guess, I grew up in a house where DV was happening so I was always aware of how angry my dad was at all times. But this is not a reason to stop baiting these scumbags, it's their fault that they behave like that.

@@kategould4857 The scammers get paid either way because the entire company makes millions (and they make a somewhat "Livable" wage for their country so I don't think losing a scam would cause them to go cause DV unless they were already an abuser, which I hear communities there don't take kindly to shit like that (there's numerous stories of men who either SA'd someone/a child and the community went together to send a message by cutting off parts of them and I remember 2 where DV occurred and they got beat to near death).

I'd say that he didn't start off like this. With time, he began to think of the victims on the phone as non human. He gets disconnected enough to not care about how he talks to others. Dehumanizing his victims to the point where he blatantly calls them profanities. It's like some people talk to their pets.

Another comment already said this, but I'll repeat it: These people, for the most part, are still people. They know what they're doing is morally wrong. However, they continue, because it's extremely well paying compared to most of the jobs available there, and corruption spreads beyond just keeping you away from that particular law. Their brains desensitize scamming people, and clearly this person has been doing it for a while and doesn't give a FUCK. After a while, you don't see something wrong as something wrong, you just see it as a part of life, which is how most people doing morally bad things roll with it. The difference between an insane person doing something morally wrong and a sane person doing something morally wrong is that an insane person either has zero emotion towards the subject or finds some twisted way to justify doing what they're doing, while a mentally sane person does as described above. They're still heartless bastards, but it gets a whole lot sadder when you realize that they still have emotions, just they're so numb to the feeling of guilt that they don't even see their victims as people at some point, and (as seen by this guy) that bleeds into their everyday lives, which definitely wasn't what they were thinking when they signed up for their scam center, so to speak. If he was truly, fully evil, he wouldn't have said that. he would have gone for efficiency or gone full out with abusing this woman as much as he could. Instead, he just didn't fucking care anymore, and he didn't see or feel enough emotion or empathy to care about this person on the other end, which he likely only saw as a client at this point. Once again, I'm not defending them, I'm pointing out that they are so numbed by guilt and the need for money, for survival, that they don't see anything but a number and a client to extort on the other line of the phone, and as seen by this person, to the point that they can hear what they think is an old woman crying in mental anguish, and only care about furthering the scam.

I never understood this tactic either. I've seen several scammers try to use this. It's awesome when Kit just explains how they cam keep some of the money to get paid back and then send the remaining balance back to the account he took it from. They get stumped every time! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

@@ashdavidson1808 I would say the strategy is just to pressure and threaten the victim into blind compliance, in particular this strategy can be backed up by editing the balance to show 0. It may be easy to spot logical flaws from the outside but its a whole different story for a person being in emotional distress.
