Okay, I had to come back to leave a review. I wasn’t sold by his reaction when he took his first taste test, and thought maybe this recipe isn’t that good. But when I say it’s just his reaction because this recipe was chef’s kiss! Like literally phenomenal! I had to come back and leave a review just in case someone was doubting the goodness of this recipe like I was. Like just the right amount of kick and just all around perfect. I did marinate my chops overnight but this was a great recipe. First recipe I tried and now I plan to try every recipe that he drops because wow!
Hi Matt, Happy Holidays to you and your family! I have a question, I did buy lamb chops for Christmas dinner and I was looking for a new recipe. How sweet/spicy is this recipe? I don’t want anything very sweet. I do understand I can adjust the amount of sugar in the recipe. Another question, what is the temp or doneness level of the lamb? Medium rare or medium? I tried this recipe tonight Matt, it was fire! The sauce was sooo delicious. I was glad I made extra sauce. This was a beautiful combination of flavors...... definitely a keeper. Thanks for the new recipe. Also, I've that you show your bloopers....funny. 😂❤
It’s the jerk seasoning that’s very spicy, especially that Walkerswood brand. The brown sugar is to cool it down some as not every can handle the highly spiced flavor.
I made this thanks for the straight forward instructions. The searing color came out perfect. I used lamb shoulder chops. So I sealed it up and put it in the oven for an hour making sure to check it every half hour and based it with the gravy a long the way at 355/365 It came out so juicy, tender and tasty.

Obviously you are confused… no where in the video did I call sugar spicy.. jerk seasoning IS spicy. The brown sugar allows you to decide how spicy you want the sauce to be
okay, well instead you should have said "the brown sugar helps balance out the spice from the jerk seasoning" just saying, it would've made a lot more sense in my opinion@@MrMakeItHappen
