I definitely understand your frustration with this groom, he was very busy! At the end of the day, it’s about the safety for the dog and the groomer. I’d rather a groomer be stern or assertive than let her run the table and get hurt. Good job on this one.

You are absolutely right. I try and explain this but some people don’t really understand. Good to know some people can see past the fact that he is a dog and more to the fact that he is on a grooming table dealing with sharp objects.

Well said, I have seen groomers that won’t even groom them for the fact that they don’t want to take their time. Your an excellent groomer👍🏻💕👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Looks Good to me!! Im trying to get my boy (1yr Bernedoodle) use to the table. My groomer says he does well but we need to work on his "Table Manners". As a first time owner of a long haired dog that needs fancy grooming. I'm learning as well. But this is exactly how I'd want my boy to look. You did a Great job! Come to Louisiana and GET HIM!!! I'd pay well. Just giving him a bath is WORK!

I started putting my dog on the grooming table at 12 weeks when I got him .Now he's so good at standing he gives me his paws to cut his nails

Have you ever done a Chinese Crested Powder puff? It's just face feet and ears .They have a full coat and not the Hairless Crested

Oh I feel your frustration lol... sorry but if you cant afford to put your dog through training or find a groomer that is right for your dog then it's pretty simple, research training it's pretty easy and take care of the dogs coat. It's not hard to train at home with what you have! Some people just dont want to put in the work but expect a reasonable groom. Honestly I think those ownerns need to pay the most! Animals need to be trained they are not humans!! On another note i can'r stand owners who treat animals like humans thats how people get hurt! Pardon my tangent. I love your channel and look forward to your video's.

Hi, I'm curious... Do you inform the parent that their child will be used in a RU-vid video for educational purposes only? Do you have them sign a waiver? Do you encourage the parent to watch your channel? How do your staff feel about the videos? Is your boss/company OK with you doing the videos at the shop? Do you use their products or do you bring your own for said video? Thanks for reading this and answering my questions

Hello, great questions! So, when they drop the dogs off they sign a paper stating we can take photos and videos and post them how we like. It’s really like that at any salon you go to. Once you hand your pet over the rights are in the groomers hands until you get your pet. I do tell pet parents about my channel those that are interested. I’ve had a couple of customers see me recording their dog and they thought it was pretty cool. None of the staff cared that I recorded at least to my knowledge of what they verbally said to me. My direct boss actually said it was ok that I recorded my grooms. He thought it was cool. In my very first video he is in that video and he requested that I enlarge his face like a bobble head because he thought it would be funny. I used the products supplied by the company. They didn’t allow us to bring any outside products in. Thank you for the questions

Definitely a bigger table is a must. A lot of the tables for that company are SUPER small

Yes he needs a bit more training sessions for grooming. He’s in that teenage phase so he doesn’t wanna listen and will fight to get his way

He needs a consistent groomer. A private groomer is not gonna make or break him. He just needs one persons to groom him and not bounce around which is what I explained to the owner.

Shaved too high on the tail and the donut mustache doesn't work because of the coloring. Otherwise, nice Standard Poodles are known for being the best breed by far for grooming. Mine will stand for 2-3 hours like a statue. This guy is unusual. Or maybe he needs to know a person in order to stand still for them.

She wanted me to shave had the tail because his tail is so long. She wanted a makeshift Pom tail 🤣. Yeah, the donut was my least favorite part of the cut but she loved it 😂 He is definitely unusual 😂😂 sweet but he does not enjoy the grooming process. I told the pp that he needs to stay with one groomer to build trust but I think because of her budget she can only go where the price is affordable to her

When were you going to stop talking? Never? Did you ask him to sit instead of forcing his butt down? Couldn’t see your mouth moving. Were you talking to him? We can’t see you talking to him to reassure him. What is your training please?

If you listened to the grooming video straight through, you would’ve seen that I didn’t talk for the majority of the groom. I in fact did ask him to sit but if you are a groomer you’d know, that doesn’t work. Guess you’re not a groomer 🤷🏾. I’m guessing you’re new to the channel which is fine. If you go back to watch my other videos I talk about how long I’ve been grooming and the type of content I put out. If you don’t like it, this channel may not be for you and that’s ok ❤️🙏🏾

Also, with dogs like this, you can not feed into their behavior, i.e. talk to them and baby them. You have to be stern and ignore that behavior. But, you only learn that when you’re a groomer or really work hard with your personal dogs.
