Totally agree with your covid points Lacey! You’re in a single person household now so kinda need to see your friends and people outside of the home to stay sane. You’re being reasonable. Your family in st Johns all live together so have support in each other so don’t need to mix with other people as much and if one of them got sick the whole house would so it’s better for them to stay safe.

I am also a teenager and tbh almost all teenagers swear at least occasionally so don’t let people make you feel bad for doing normal teenage things. However, if you don’t want that to be a part of your public image on your channel, you definitely don’t have to make it a part of it. You don’t have to do all of the same things on camera that you do off, just like you don’t have to share anything you’re uncomfortable sharing with the internet...you have a right to have private parts of your life.

Lacey you did a great job on this Q&A but please don’t feel like you have to “over explain” yourself. Also rethink about putting your relationship on the internet because when you do a lot of people are going to have a lot to say 🙄 and it’s non of their business what goes on in your private life (relationships). I've lived in apartments before. Just be on top of the maintenance guys there's ways to fix it. Tell them it's wasting water and flooding your bathroom. Make it sound worse than it is and ask them straight up you want a new toilet. They'll get it fixed.

Aww Lacey I feel so bad that you felt the need to explain your choices and your life so much but I get it, its the Internet, and youre right, most of us have been watching you guys grow up for almost 5 years. I just wanted to say how much you seem to have matured and grown in the last few months now that youre out on your own. I know the age and the pressure you feel (I moved out at 17 for college too) but just know, the decisions you make now do not have to tie you down forever. Ive been to college twice because the career I chose at 17 wasnt what was practical in my 20's. Just because youre 18 and out now doesnt mean you need to feel rushed. RU-vid is great to have in your back pocket and to keep on the go for your future plans once you have a family. And for what its worth I think you would make a wonderful councellor in a school or even within the foster system. Youve got a great head on your shoulders and the self confidence you seek will come over time. Your parents raised you well & to be able to be a responsible adult. When I was graduating from college, some of my college friends were moving back home with their parents.
