Good day Sir! New subscriber here.. just a question about the contract. Is it possible for a positive variation order to be a re-measured type? Or a lumpsum type? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for subscribing and welcome to the community. I’m not a contracts specialist but my opinion is variations to lump sum contracts will be a specific amount that is agreed once and added or deducted from the contract. Variations to remeasured contracts will definitely be adding a new item that has no rate in the contract which will require agreeing the rate, and then quantity can be remeasured since the contract itself is remeasured. 👍🙏
