Quit lying to yourself saying you’re not going to do much more 😂 I say that all the time and then magically another upgrade arrives at my door haha! Bike is looking good brother. Saddlebag guards are always the first thing I get. I also have the same windshield on my CVO but in 12” and it’s perfect. Like you, I wanted it tinted as well so I ordered a Freedom Shield. Now get you some motorcycle drop guards and you’ll be 100% protected! Good stuff man. Ride safe!

Try the new Freedom shield. I just got one. Dark tint too. Works great for me.

Nice upgrades, and I agree with the saddlebag guards and engine guards, they are a must to keep the bike and yourself protected. Looking forward to the Banff trip video's. Our workspace looks about the same, I start off saying lets keep it clean and when I finish it looks like I dumped out my tool bag. LOL

Well dude, im following in your footstep, and traded my WRD 2019 RGs for a 🥃 🔥 RG. Bike was just to damn awesome, and deal was killer. Just ordered my saddlebag guards, amongst the nav, fairing pocket liners and black shift linkage.

Just did this on Saturday. Man did I have a tough time removing old bar; those screws in rear are in a tight spot. Easy to get new one on. Great job! and agree. I put some bar protectors on too.

I too installed the same windshield on my 24. Absolutely love it. Im 5'11 and get no buffeting. Mine is clear and I think it looks great against the white onyx pearl. My rear saddlebag guards are on order 👊

So glad to see you can still use the guards that look classic HD as opposed to the skateboard looking ones for '24.

When I had my 2016 HD Road King Standard model, it came with the engine and saddlebag guards as standard equipment, not a option. Harley keeps cutting back, eg. no heel shifter and I hear the tour pack on the 2025 models will be a extra option. Cheers.

How did the saddlebag guards fit with your saddlemen seat? Saddlemen's website specifically says that their seat will not work with saddlebag guard bars. I ordered a road sofa from saddlemen, and their site also said my seat won't work with guard bars. They also said that your seat won't work with the guard bars either. Did you have to do anything special for the seat to fit with your guard bars?

What phone mount are you using?

WIndshield works great but the distortion in the recurve causes me issues. Question is with ANY "floating"wind screen is how it channels rain away from your face. I can' see this working well in that department.

I hear a lot of complaints about that shield having distortion at the top; I haven't had a chance to ride with one, but I can see the distortion in your video. Did you have any issues with it? I agree the shield should have a medium and or a dark tint option (if only someone that worked at HD could recommend that lol). Your bike is coming together very nicely.
