Ironically the swedish truck carry just as much as the Australian. but the Australian got a much lower axelload limit so they need more axels for the same load.

4:57 The maximum load in Sweden is 72 ton, it was change from 60 ton several decades ago. In 2023 September the rule will be change to alow larger loads.

3:53 There is NO need for three powerd axles. A 10x4 or 8x4 are able to do the same work (traktion). A third driven axle only add weight and cost.

Seems like people don’t have a clue about truck at all. Truck maker like Volvo, Scania, MAN, etc. they don’t make a whole truck. None of the truck makers on the whole planet don’t build a whole truck. They only do a chassis and a cabin. For a specific orderand application. The rest of the truck as tipper body, crane tator, concrete pump, etc, is made by the other companies to fit exact specks of every truck. If trucks comes with 5 axles, that means it was made for a specific and very heavy loads. Every axle is support for an additional weight. In UK 6 axles truck can carry 44 tons of MGW legally. Above thtat is a heavy haulage. In other countries weights can be higher. Some countries allow 8 tons per axles and some 11 tons per axle. Which means same truck can carry 48 tons of MGW or 66 tons.
