Her daughter probably cries a lot. Probably just had her for monetary purposes.

Gosh makes my stomach turn hearing her daughter. 😢 forever sketched in her mind.

They were living in that car. The kid will be taken care of by someone who loves them. That was not a mother.

And she didn't even care whatsoever. She got to the police station and was laughing that she pissed in the police car, with no concerns for her kid. What a total piece of shit!

As awful as she is, I'll bet the judge that rules on her case, will give her custody, because women almost always get custody.

I have seen a lot of respectful cops on body cams, but some are a little too respectful sometimes. These people need to be called out on their actions and these cops did great. They called her out but also in a respectful and professional way. I hope the daughter is ok :(

A friend and coworker got a call at work, He was told his son was in a auto pedestrian accident, His son was the pedestrian.. When he got to the scene, his son was covered in a yellow sheet . Dead. The person that hit his son, was a very close friend of his. The guy was dead drunk. My coworker asked his friend, What's wrong with you? Coworker told me, all he did is stare at him, in a drunken state.. The coworker, was a reserve police officer.. The way he acted was in a state of shock. As if reality hasn't hit him yet.. After 2 weeks, I talked to him about it, He said, when he ever pulls over drunk drivers and there are children with them, he always asks, What's wrong with you? He and I worked together for the railroad and after his son's death, he became a full time officer, in hopes of getting drunks off the streets and saving at least one life doing it.

And with a loaded gun. But that person, she doesn't deserve to be called a mom, doesn't care if anything happens to the child it seems.

​@@TheeJeffL people always misunderstand the "defund the police" thing, police got too much responsibility to bare. from arresting people for check fraud, to traffic stops, to stopping attempted suicide victims, to approaching lethal situations, defunding the police means giving each of those types of roles to different proposed police bodies that can be better trained to approach each situation. having one cop learn how to deal with every situation is impossible.

Guns need to be secured when stored, I also think if someone has firearms stored and children, they should teach the kids early on about gun safety, and how dangerous they truly are. That combined with say locking it in a safe or keeping it out of reach really help mitigate accidents. Unfortunately many people are beyond reckless with firearms, just like the woman in the video.

When I've been stopped with kids in the car, the first thing I've done is tell the officer there are kids in the car. I'd hate for them to respond to an unexpected movement at the edge of their vision. I don't know what this woman is doing or why, but she seems full of, and driven by, hatred, and it completely overrides any concern for the kid.

Even if you dont want to buy a gun, go into a firearms dealer and go through the process as if you were going to purchase one and then tell the dealer, at the end of the process before you pay, that you've 1. changed your mind or 2. were just investigating the process for your own information since you were curious. I've done this with friends who, like you, believe you can walk out of a firearms dealers store after 10 mins with a gun in hand like its no issue and they are astounded with how thorough and sweeping the process actually is. Just a suggestion, but it might be an interesting experience if you're curious to learn more and do so first-hand.

That is the draw for people who purchase illegal firearms, not the fact that they're unable to go through legal means to procure them because, like I already said, it's much cheaper and easier to do so legally, and the clientele for illegal firearms is rarely someone who is legally barred because of, for example, a past felony conviction. Most of that population does not have the cash on hand to go buy an illegal firearm, and why would they when they can steal one for free.

She should have been charged an offence for the peeing. If the vehicle cannot be used until cleaned, then her peeing is in effect impeding police in the execution of their duty.

@@fastgurrrl depending on US case law, a vandalism charge might get dismissed in court, as there was no actual damage to the car - the pee and its dried residue can be cleaned off plastic seats and floor mats quite easily. But she should have been charged with something for doing it. A suitable penalty would be for her to be made to be on call to clean a cop car every time a drunk has peed in it, for say 6 months. They can do that under the law here in Australia - I don't know about US law. Non-compliance means a big fine and/or jail.

I was a first grade teacher for many years, and the officer dealt so kindly with that child, to prevent her from being further traumatized. I am so grateful for those who serve us and our communities with true compassion.

And I am so happy with the way they spoke to her. "Why do you think this is funny?" "you're drunk," "You're driving 90 in a 60 with your daughter in the car..." Cops should shame these people more often.

I've noticed in these videos there are always a few people in the comments who heap lots of praise on the cops for being patient and professional, even when it isn't always true....or is being greatly exaggerated. But omg do i have so much respect for these 2 guys. Especially the first cop who pulls her over and is trying to get her out of the car. It is extremely rare to see someone put in a stressful position like he was with the dark windows, and not even have a hint of anger in his voice as he goes about his job. In every profession there are a select few who are just amazing at their jobs. It is really nice knowing there are some cops like this who chose to serve.

Agreed,The key thing I picked up is one cop clarifying repeatedly “she’s intoxicated” meaning they realize that everything that she said, every behavior must be seen through that lens.

I did that one time too, I pulled over before the cop even moved. 80 something in a 60. I still got a ticket but at a greatly reduced speed. Cop didnt even have to pull onto the road, just drove on the shoulder in idle up behind me LOL.

I had a similar situation back in the '80s in Holmdel NJ. No other vehicles on the GS Parkway at around 3am, I was driving my Trans Am over 100mph and happened to notice the police lights two hills back. Pulled over and eventually the cop pulled up behind me. Ended up with just a warning. Was told if I didn't pull over and stop it would have been a trip to jail if they had caught me.

The officer wasn't doing his job then.

in 1991 i passed the test to start training as an officer for a large local city and was just waiting for my name to come up. my dad had me over for dinner and we watched a "new" show called COPS. after one episode i know that job wasnt for me, too much babysitting.
