did you guys notice all the other players had astros and all the big name gaming headsets, and kampy strolled into the tournament with regular headphones lmao love that guy
Thats not bad luck.. when someone gets a lot of assists in an ffa 90% of the time it means they had terrible aim that game so they couldn't finish the headshots so all their kills got stolen.
ThouArtOfWar To each his own, but personally I'd play Halo Reach over Halo 4 any day. It's not like I can't accept change or else I would not have liked reach, 4 is just a clusterfuck of so much random. It was a 343i attempt to grab the attention of COD/BF and casual gamers, and I think the game suffered because of it.
Actually Reach is what started all that cluster bs. With random abilities and class play. Majority of people accept that reach is terrible especially since H1, H2,H3 were superior to both reach and 4. I couldnt even get through 2 games of reach without being bored out my mind lol
Aside from armor abilities, bloom, It wasn't THAT random, only certain modes had loadouts. now 4 has Load outs,Perks, armor abilities, armor class perks, ordnance, instant spawning?, it's just bleh, it's unplayable to me. Reach is inferior to 2,3, but I can still play it. It still has some degree of structure to it. Halo 4 feels like some mediocre shooter not a halo game. but I think the introduction of armor abilities was Kind of unneeded, equipment was so much more balanced.
How to have the perfect Halo experience 1. 4K TV 2. Xbox one and 4 controllers 3. Hdmi 4. game installed on hard drive 5. some buddies 6. Snacks 7. your favorite Halo 8. enjoy your game
The list is in the order of highest to lowest score but if they have the same amount of kills its alphabetical. Str8 sick deserved to win, you can see by his K/D ratio.
PONYBOYonline yea, if you're a powerhouse and can psychologically control your opponent in-game during an FFA match, its definitely not a random chaotic mess... but for most average players... it tends to be
@@DrWiley-fm3ik I've noticed with title update, You can aim and shoot as fast as you can then just quickly pace and place a shot to the head similar to how in Halo 3 you aim for the upper chest then flick up to the head.
@Filthy Bidness It does make sense. Halo 3's projectile system was garbage and inconsistent most of the time unless you were playing on LAN. So to mitigate this, they brought back hit scan. However in doing so they had to something to not make the DMR a laser beam. So they threw in bloom. The Bloom level in this current version is pretty good. Although I think they should scale it down like another 10 percent.
Shame MLG uses only a few weapons, it gets kinda boring. I'd like to see matches with all weapons available. Like all plasmas, or spikers. Certain weapons are underused. This was a great game.
It really is not as interesting as you would think, go watch some of the older games where they used to have an even more limited selection to an almost completely open selection. They balanced it to bring out the best of the competition
You can't say that and be taken seriously. Ninja is pretty sick at sniping too. Heck... So am I. Also... Every player has their good/bad games. Kind of impossible to find out who the best sniper truly is with so many variables and of course the luck factor. Unless you're god of course lol.
arid narcotic No he wasn't. Like the other guy said, people like Ninja and Formal were much better than Kampy. Kampy was a good social sniper but not that good in competitive MLG with the top guys, but he was still great but not on the same level as those guys.
what a lame fucking ending i think Kampy won, why the fuck would deaths ever matter in a FFA if anything props to kampy for being dead longer and still getting top kills.
The most intense match I believe it was Carbon vs Final Boss(Halo2 on Beaver Creek), when Carbon was the first team to beat Final Boss(after +10 winstreak if Im not wrong).
It's called break strafing. When you strafe, don't let the left stick hit the side of the controller, right before it would, switch sides. If that makes sense, if not im sure theres a tut on here.
Alex R. I can say a lot of people use the term bank. By the way, I don't see why you have to be rude. Just gonna straight up call me a faggot without anything to support it. Then again, if you don't like these things, then why do you come here? To ridicule them? Isn't that more of waste of your time? Thus, you are also being a 'lifeless soul' of your own just by insulting what other people enjoy.
Hoggy emelgee It was a longer time ago and I played in a team (4vs4). I think I got 15 kills^^ I'm a normal Halo player, not a noob but also not a pro :)
I think it's more impressive that Kampy got that many kills while he was dead and out of the fight. STR8 had 40 more seconds to pick up kills and he still caught up.
Francisco José Letterio you obviously don't know anything about halo. i play csgo aswell and they both require a lot of strategy unlike cod which is run around and shoot at the opponents body.
Positioning yourself to be in a position to clean up people - not to mention knowing when to fight and when to back down, knowing where everyone is, FFA takes a huge amount of skill.
Thumbs up if you had sweaty palms during those last two minutes. I wasn't expecting much, even with the title being "most intense", but damn, that got me on the edge of my seat.
this is what a good game of lone wolves would look like back in H3's prime. 1st 2nd and 3rd separated by only 1 or 2 kills or a two way tie for 2nd and a three way tie for 3rd. even though the ranking system on H3 could have been tweaked, it definitely helped ranked games be ultra competitive which is an aspect i wish the halos that followed kept and stayed true to...
kwall55 Halo M.C.C has ranking, but the playlist populations are so low that you either go against complete gods or noobs, and you never get a close game, also it's so annoying how many people bloody quit matches.
Halo 3 was a very valued member of the E-Sports community back in it's MLG days. The level of communication and skill that you could see in the top teams was outstanding. You don't get anything like that today. It didn't need a 'ProMode' - it was all standardised, which is one of the positives to console gaming. My name on QL is meloKlasm
There is still a strategy in FFA's. If there wasn't, you would see random people every single time in a FFA tourney or even people in (We'll use Halo 3) Lone Wolves would all be 50's. There is still a certain amount of strats and skill and you need to have. It's all about outsmarting, not stealing. Stealing kills is a strategy too.
