The Dominator 3 achieved a direct tornado intercept for the first time in a decade, capturing a 55 mb pressure drop and rise in less than a second! The power of the tornado caused the old seals to break in the back of Dominator 3 from winds gusting over 160 mph. Flex Paste by ‪@FlexSeal‬ used to fix the seals and waterproof the Dominator 3 so that we can continue to capture rare data from inside tornadoes.

I threw a roll of FlexSeal tape at a tornado coming towards my home. As the FlexSeal tape unrolled it quickly wrapped around the tornado and stopped the rotation. The cloud was lifting I tossed in FlexPaste that I had removed the lid from. It sealed the bottom of the cloud no rain or hail could pass though that seal. Last I knew that system was on it's 10th trip around the earth with no way to dissipate the energy. Thanks, FlexSeal!

Flex seal is amazing. My great grandma fell down the stairs earlier today, and I used flex seal to close a giant 6” gash running straight through her face! Stopped all the bleeding immediately! We also had to use flex tape to keep the cut closed and it actually fused to her skin, so it won’t reopen anytime soon!

Brother; you've been doing an outstanding job of chasing this season. I can't tell you how many times I've tuned in to see one person on top of a tornado, and then switch (as the signal fades) to another Dominator team member chasing. Kudos from a newbs chaser.

I remember meeting you and Dominator in 2013. I was down there with the Red Cross as a disaster assessment supervisor providing disaster relief after the Moore and El Rino tornadoes. We stayed in Norman on the 9 East at the Post Office property not to far from OU. What people don't realize is before Moore got hit there were several E3 and E4 tornadoes that hit areas like Little Axe, Carney, and Shawnee. When Moore got hit that Monday they pulled almost all of the resources from those areas into Moore. What a shame!! Stay safe out there Reed along with your team.

I really enjoy the nation wide tornado chasing stuff. After growing up in SW Oklahoma watching storms. I like getting to see the weather events elsewhere. I wish we had all this stuff back in the 70s-90s. The 1979 Red River Valley outbreak I grew up hearing stories about. Then got to live through 1999, 2011, and 2013. Keep up the great work!

Used the aresol flex seal on a lead riser to my comode that developed a crack from foundation movement and was very impressed with the results! Worked like a charm saved alot of money on materials and labor.

🚩1st. Remove all old "sealing" products 2nd. CLEAN with a Mold/Mildew killer 3rd. HEAT GUN Cautiously the entire area to ensure it's dry paying attention not to come too close to damage anything! 4th.Apply flex SEAL PAST then after it has dried 5th. Open the Back up so it has proper ventilation, Then HEAT GUN all the FLEX PASTE to ensure you have a Water tight Seal. 6th. Apply FLEX SEAL TAPE 7th. HEAT GUN over the TAPE as well that way you have a secure fitting tape. 8th. Do the same to the OUTSIDE omitting the FLEX SEAL TAP. 😊

Hey Reed and the group. I work maintenance at a food plant. A recent episode of silverback gorilla hail pretty much destroyed the roof of our plant. As you might guess, USDA is not real happy with the leaks. I submitted a proposal today to get a crop duster to spray the roof with Flex Seal. I'll let you know how that turns out.

1:21 Every once in a while there will be tornados in my dreams. The one at 1:20 is almost exactly like what I see. Off in the distance on a hill but there are more hills and its very fake looking. Just a reoccuring dream theme. Ive never been in one, except maybe once there was a storm here and it couldve been a large one that didnt touch down fully cause the winds suddenly got up to 100mph for about 30 seconds. Im in Louisiana and was in katrina but have never been scared of storms or anything. Just once in a blue moon I dream about tornados on hillls and this is the first time Ive seen a video that closely matches my dreams.

I used flex seal spray on a roof leak, while it was raining! Worked like a charm. I was a little messy, but the roof is soon to be replaced so it didn't matter much at the time.

From NW Ohio, just traveled to the south the first time, was hoping to see a twister out in Arkansas. On my journey back on July 7th, there was an impressive storm out over Missouri I was able to witness. I did get to visit a peninsula mountain range that was ravaged by the 2011 storms, one side of the mountain was scarred, while the other stayed in-tact.

I made it outside in Cyclone Ian. Had to go outside tying down what could be dangerous. 200+mph gusts caused a 50 foot canal's water being picked up into the air.

Its actually a real good product, we use it to make repairs on our greenhouses. The tape holds in place where plain duct tape fails due to humidity

Had a metal enamel tub rust a hole the size of a fist through it. Tossed some flex tape on and it lasted for several years, until we were able to replace the tub. Flex tape is recommended in every toolbox.

It was yet _ANOTHER_ clickbait re-upload of an earlier video. 🙄 The folks who run this channel have begun using _mildly_ sleazy marketing tactics And this time, a few people actually spoke up about it during the stream. Sponsors and ad revenue are VITAL for the funding of influencers on RU-vid, and for content creation in the field, _but the good will of the audience he click-baited_ is a finite resource. I've seen larger brands make this pivot towards deceptive clickbait marketing and destroy their brand image in the space of 2-3 years... but I've also seen it create growth. It's a non-issue for now but (for me), It's going to be entertaining to see how this unfolds over time. I'm hoping these sponsored shenanigans don't become the norm. That was rough. 😂

Flex seal is awesome I have an old swamp cooler wet section was rusted badly. I took a wire wheel to it got lot of the rust cleaned up put some rust paint on it let it dry then instead of using the cooler recommended rubberized paint made of toxic asphalt I used flex seal. Flex seal is non toxic and still holding up almost 3 years later.
