Makes me think of the cards that came with my new 3ds xl. Nintendo is cool sometimes.

Interestingly enough I never saw this thing back in the day, to me it seemed like this semi legendary thing mostly no one has.

I wouldn't call these obscure at all. Everyone I know used to have one of these, especially if you owned Animal Crossing.

You could use Pokemon cards on it too
