In 6.7 the only thing that can pen it is a conqueror or is4m and maybe some heat/rockets

​@MANNYzZ most British vehicles and heatfs slingers can kill it from side, most heavy tanks need to aim at turret, bmps can pen with missiles. The maus is very penetrateable in downtiers

​@@MANNYzZ The IS-4M can't pen it frontally at and even struggles from the side sams goes for many of the USA heavies. Meanwhile the HEAT cars can lolpen it or any other heavy with ease.

@@haidwirdwenicher4498 it can be penned in the turret I usually kill the maus by shooting by the right side of the turret l,disabling the gunner then the left side to destroy the tank. IS4 can probably do it easier than my conqueror because of the explosive filler

The sad thing about that is, that the obj279 is a relativ easy target, if you just use heat-fs ammo.

@@Griffin_Clan OBJ279 is at 9.0, so even if it would fight against 8.0, there should be enogh heat-fs (depending on nation and tank). Even normal heat from a DF105 is enough, to penetrate the upper hull from the obj279. Most people just dont use it or even know what it is or how it works. And even if you dont have heat-fs, like france or britain, these are nation with less heat-fs, then didnt fight it, if you dont have too. I see many players fighting against tanks, because they dont know, what anything else they could do. (Begins in low tier already with the KV-1 or M4A3 105, and often there are players with 30k matche, who dont know it) Obj279 is strong, it is maybe one of the strongest tanks at 9.0. But I would not call it busted, broken, op etc. I would say, most people get killed by a obj279, because they have no clue what to do against it. P.s: I appreciate your answer. Dont thought, it would be a serious professionell answer.

The funny thing about obj is that it is virtually impossible to kill with bombs. You need to be on top of him with 2000lbs+ to kill. This is because of the hull being so high of the ground and still relatively high amount of armour. Source: have obj and played too many customs for people in air to kill it.

It's really not that bad but my favorite br is 3.7. Sherman's, sick ass panzer ivs, kv2, spitfires, mustangs, bf109 and 110, t34, wirblewinds and weird but cool Swedish, French tanks. It's so much fun. It's the iconic ww2 experience for me. I'm not in a huge rush to get random cold war tanks. I've already gotten to 5. Something and it was just.. okay.

@@basiclymarcy No it even makes perfect sense. The Russian player base is huge, they have like the most event reward vehicles and 99% of the time event vehicles are super OP. It's funny how the Sd. Kfz 234/4 had it's BR increased multiple times while the KV-220 and any other Russian Prototype maybe had their BR increased one time and still overperformed. They didn't even want to increase the BR to 6.0 before player backlash. What about German Premium T-34 and KV-1? The T-34 was so OP I didn't even want to play it. Of course there are other OP vehicles but that doesn't change the fact that the majority are Russian.

​@@kimjanek646 most of the points you gave aren't that valid, the German t34 is a shitbox, the kv1c is only scary because of its GERMAN gun.. and its in the GERMAN tree. The Russian event vehicles, which they haven't got a good one in a long ass time, are mostly niche shitboxs, rbt-5, ba11, tandam mai, kaytusha, etc none of those vehicles are "good" they might do a niche role well, but its to niche to be useful. And "OP" vehicles people claim, are just skill issues, while yes, they have a lot of annoying heavy's and shit, but brother, that's their whole post war doctrine "heavy tank, face towards enemy, go forward" so if you take that away, it would be like taking away speed from Italian vehicles, their tree would become useless. A perfect example of a OP nation is Germany. Most of the players are so bad that they downtier the German vehicles, they have a 109 at 1.3 now. Also they have arguably the best CAS in the game, so your shit outta luck if your a tank without a roof .50. You can get the best squad vehicle (leo 2pl) for free, and while a tiger/panther isn't hard to kill by itself, if you don't have heatfs, and the entire team is German heavy tank spam (99% of the time it is) its rip for you. and if you don't have heatfs and the tiger player angled well, then its highly likely a casual player will be sent back to hanger. But at the same time, this is supposed to be a historical game, tigers shouldn't be nerfed to much because the designers didn't go "wait, the enemy's are using pre-war 50's and 75's, reduce this guys armor and gun, we don't need it yet" At the end of the day each tree isn't "op" they do what they need to do well, ww2 Germany and soviets are slow and heavy, but their enemy's can outflank and often get to the side before they can look their way. Italian vehicles are fast and can often 1 shot most vehicles at their br, but if you look at one they'll explode. And a tiger or a is2 being hard to kill, is often a skill issue or the enemy being better than you, and you not knowing how to properly counter the enemy.

@@basiclymarcy I‘m talking about the KV-1E and the T-34 747 is still one of the best mediums, even at 4.3. A Bf 109 at 1.3? So what? The I-16 is 1.3 as well and the P-36 A at 1.3 is way better than both. There is nothing historical about WT. You can be lucky, if the Devs give a vehicle their RL performance when they implement it instead of being a broken mess that takes years of bug reports to „fix“ them.

@SergyMiltaryRankings The thing is Russia has tons of AA platforms, which I understand. However, NATO and specifically the US, has more than enough ways to deal with this, aka Shrike(old), HARM, AARGM, JSOW. The issue is that one country gets a significant capability while others aren't getting their own comparable capabilities.

Not defending the pantsir but you can fly really low and still counter helis then just dive back down.

@@snowylynx36 i usually spawn on the air field with the a10 and fly behind hills, on some maps you can quickly dive behind hills at low alt after launching mavs at pantsirs which doesn't always work but it's fun when it does.
