I have been running 3-3 cub all year. Mid 0 blitz from 2-4 double mug, and nickel normal

Running this scheme now is kinda getting annoying tho. I noticed that certain plays esp In tight cause This defense to go haywire and literally switches up your defense and takes all your DBs out of their assignments. Not all the time but still a good number of times throughout the game

10:30 very appreciative of all the tips, but for this last set up it was one man (#87 on the right) completely uncovered. if he does a slant or drag would your user go there for just a spit second and then retreat to cover deep?

It shouldn't be as ridiculous as the entire D-Line getting simultaneously pancaked in Madden 18 but they need to have better AI penalties for spamming pass Defenses and DBs subbed in at LB when the offense comes out in 22 or 13 personnel and runs against them

Lol I use the blitz and run straight through the hole it creates and get instant pressure unless they block the RB

I can beat this in shotgun TE under routeor dual Te set rb blocking double slants

All you realky have to do just run iso i did that against a dude in the cfm hecwas spamming this blitz i figure it out in the 4th qtr just ran iso or a power run plus why use all safeties bc they can easy get pancake in a 12 personnel package

For people who ruin their left analog stick every 6 months playing madden, the edge controller became available yesterday for the low, low price of $200

Can someone confirm or deny. Can you not run this defense in franchise mode? I’ve looked through a bunch of the playbooks and the 33 cub isn’t in any of them, when I go to play now it is? Any help would be appreciated.

It's annoying when you first encounter it but can be beat. I do it all the time.

What defense are you in

I just keep getting beat long every play… my safties and CBS are all 99 spped and the best ones and on cover 3s and 4 in nickel 3-3 guys are just bombing it on me constantly and their WRs are always just beating sandcastle, Ed Reed, sauce Gardner, talib…. I match everyone up by speed, and go for swat ball in coaching adjustments but still nothing works. Idk if I should drop my DBs back presnap or what… then on the flip side my 99 WRs OBJ,Chase, Carmichael, hardly beat other players DBs at all running sake defense… just doesn’t make sense at all. How do I stop getting beat over the top and get these WRs to stop just burning my guys

There's no way I can do all of these adjustments before the snap. It can't be this complicated haha!

It’s not crash defense out you have to pinch the whole defense. Trust me

I destroy this defense every time. Meta is for people who don’t really understand football. You can create your own “meta” but no shade towards Eric or anyone who uses this defense! Much love Eric!

Madden makes real football looks so easy because running that irl is extremely easy for a OC to get a pay raise
