@@harpaxpt You need talisman pouches and there are 3 in game. One from killing Margit in stormhill OR killing Morgott in Leyndell. One from Enia after getting two great runes OR in the twin maiden shop if missed from Enia. Last one is from Godfrey in the capital.

@@dandannoodles Yeah, it being possible early doesn't mean it's worth the stress IMO, this section sucks when all you have is a spear and like 2 health.
@@luckyrue4871 I got it too, on a few characters once I memorized it but it took me dying like 1000 times because the timing of the chariot is so inconsistent. It is not bad once you know exactly where to go but early blind, it's a nightmare.
The somber smithing stone 7 jump has been patched as of 1.04. There is an invisible wall added to blocking the platform jump. Dont be dumb like me and spend an hour trying. Just do Ranni's questline and when you get to the Ranni doll, follow the river to the minor astel hanging insect rock blaster guy and kill him for an easy somber stone 7!
Yep I did it after the update... It is harder to land but still possible, just have to hit it 100% perfect, which took me over 2 hours... Take a bow or range weapons to kill the chariot thing coz after 2 hours leaping to finally land the jump, you don't want that thing making you panic and fall or knocking you before grabbing the stone.
I'm really hoping you do a early mid and late game build for every class cause I really enjoy your content and as a fellow content creator I rather enjoy the way you do your videos it is great there to the point but they also have information to help out people to make decisions plus you show people were stuff is you don't just throw it at people and expect them to know where to go thanks for the awesome video keep up the great content 😊
Hi, this is real testimony of a spell doctor who helped me bring back my finance, who left i and the kids for 9 month. i had lost all hope about my finance coming back home again. if you're going thr
I've been playing exclusively melee builds and this made me try a magic/incant build, I spent like 5 minutes trying to figure out how to change my incantations 😭
This might be the best build guide I’ve seen since Elden Ring was released. High quality. Excellent editing. Great sound. Comprehensive. Succinct. Just brilliantly executed. Amazing job dude. SUB!!
You could add about 47k extra runes from killing Greyroll by picking up the gold-pickled fowl foot just past the Castal Cave in Limgrave. At low levels the extra runes will boost you super early.
@@chuckchan4127 they probably won't. it's only something intermediate and advanced players know. and it's not a gamebreaking explooit, just a convenient shortcut.
For people struggling with getting the Great Jar's Arsenal, it still works - I did it today. Instead of standing where he stood in the video, just hug the left side where the white wall is and they will eventually try and roll into you and fall off. Sometimes you have to catch their aggro by jumping up and back down but it 100% works still.
Good tip. For me the spot on the right worked best for the guy with the mace (left guy) and the guy that throws the blue daggers. But for the 3rd guy, hugging the left did the trick repeatedly.
I just did in the classic way and it worked. At first, one of the knights spelled me some rocks. The second time worked like a charm, since I got more in the edge. You can agroo them more while theyre runing agains the white wall casting rotten breath. Seems that the DoT makes then more irritated XD
For me I have tried everywhere possible on that ledge and what is happening is they are leaning down and attacking me (and basically two or three shotting me) before they roll off. I think I am just going to wait on this until I am more of a match for them. It is too tedious. Can't even get one never mind all three.

The fact this is a 25 min long video that explains almost EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of a dragon incantation/faith build AND where to get said stuff PLUS seperate walkthroughs on how to do it and how to play with them/ use them, kinda says it all. This has to be the best guide i ve ever seen, maybe even better than Fextralife.
I was kinda lost on what I wanted to do with my prophet type and this guide really helped out. Still haven't figured out the floating thing but I can take on more powerful enemies with a decent chance to win. Also provides a whole new realm of cheesing your way out of some bad spots. Thanks.
Very well done guide. Somber Smithing stone (5) can be found between 6&7 in volcano manor. After you take the elevator up follow the right side and it's just there on a corpse about 30 feet away. Saves some time.
You can get a pretty early SSS[5] in Radahn's fort which conveniently is right by the Dragon Communion church in Caelid. Take the Waygate by the Impassable bridge and it'll put you by the plaza where the warriors assemble for the festival, just go up the stairs and to the right where you'll see a big astrolabe with a bunch of chairs seated around it and there's your Stone [5] right in the middle
This build is great. I’ve been playing this Dragon Priest build since like day 3 and it’s probably my favorite. I got the Erdsteel Dagger from Kenneth Haight and put Bloody Slash on it to dual-wield blood daggers. Between Reduvia and Rotten Breath, it’s all you need.
When trying to cheese the Great Jar's Arsenal Invaders: Make sure you crouch on the left side of the ledge (from your perspective) when the invader manages to get unstuck and jump on the rock. If you stand on the right, narrow side of the ledge, the invader will often land on the left side of the ledge and kill you.
Great tip, Kelvin. I've tried so many times from the right without success that I figured they had improved the AI so much this wasn't possible anymore. Got it the second try when I switched to the left.
Started a new game just to do this build. Only a few hours in and already I’m loving it. Thank you for this detailed and comprehensive guide. Subbed on this video.
Love your content. Underrated coverages and walk through. This is by far my favorite build and the one I settled on for NG+ 5 through 7. Glad to see other people are enjoying it, too :)
Your Mage build series earned you my subscription; your Faith build (which I'm following and it's completely wrecking everything) just shows me that sub was well deserved. You're doing fantastic work on your videos!
I am not seeing the damage from my incantations that you are getting in this video. My incantations do close to nothing, even with my seal at +9. Idk what I’m missing, I have followed this video step for step
I've gotten to the point in the guide where I am farming the knights for the Banished Knight armor set. I've killed both knights outside of the dragon cathedral in Caelid many times (hours) and I've had nothing drop. Not gear or anything. Did I do something wrong? Is there a point in the game I need to progress to for these guys to drop gear? Has this been taken out of the game? I'm really confused at this point and just looking for some guidance. Thanks in advance.
Somber Smithing Stone 7 is impossible to get, looks as if the ledge u need to jump to is actually made smaller. So the last jump isn't possible. That means anyone trying this low are stuck at +6. :(
If you can defeat the godskin noble then you can make your way through to the stairs where the 3 lizards are and use the fog gate to get to the somber 7(probably the easiest way). Nokstella and the shunning-grounds are also 2 options, depending on your progress or which direction you want to go. The shunning-grounds is probably easier to do if you can get past the tree sentinel. You can cheese Radahn fairly easy with summons and poison arrows pretty early to get past that part of Ranni questline if you're able to defeat Loretta.
@@avertheduck3718 I'm sorry but I don't believe you got it recently :p Compare videos of people doing the jump, with what you see in game. The ledge is visibly smaller.
did they nerf the armor poise or do you have to be a certain class to get the poise that low? i got the full set from the knights and mine is at 71 poise

Been trying for a while to make the jump for the sss7 and it felt impossible. I read "Fixed a bug in some maps that allowed players to reach unexpected locations with certain procedures." on the Elden ring wiki and wondered if this is one of the locations they fixed.
@@blue_3675 the sss9 is easy to get ones hands on. It’s the 7 that’s a problem unfortunately. To get it “early” without the skip one would have to beat the godskin noble in volcano manor and run all the way through to get to the ledge. But thanks for the help anyway.
I just tried that just to somber stone 7 at least 15 times then quit out of pure frustration. I can't tell if it's the angle or the timing of the jump 😖
Something else I want to add with this is that, when fighting the great jar warriors you might run into some problems depending on their build. The two that I ran into was a buff heavy bot that wouldnt get anywhere near me and kept spamming Regen. If you get one like this then rot him up and use your other breaths, because if the rot runs out (and it will) then you wont be able to rot them again because of the resistances that they get. The second problem that I ran into was that some of these bots have Radahn's greatswords, and will fairly often use their weapon art. This can pull you out of your safe place, or worse, pull them down next to you. If you're still fatrolling then this can very well kill you, as it did me once, since the followup hit /will/ kill you. I'd suggest swapping enough armor to keep your med roll just in case you run into one of these bots. That way you can safely panic roll away from them and to safety while they fall off the ledge trying to chase you. And that's all I run into so far! Good luck my faithful friends!
Hi, this is real testimony of a spell doctor who helped me bring back my finance, who left i and the kids for 9 month. i had lost all hope about my finance coming back home again. if you're going thr
I am having such a problem with these, they keep falling on to the ledge with me instead of rolling off. I'm not sure if its my positioning or just bad luck.
@@isavedtheuniverse You kind of have to fenagle yourself on the ledge. Dont go all the way to the right of it because then they're more likely to fall down next to you. You want to try to keep them to your right while still staying in an advantageous enough spot to avoid getting hit. Took me a few tries the first time, but eventually you get a feel for it. Done it on a few characters now.
I tried and tried the Somber Smithing Stone (7) shortcut for a while yesterday and could not get it. Eventually someone left a note on the ground that said "No shortcut ahead". I feel like it got changed in an update. The ledge also looks visibly smaller. IDK. Can anyone confirm?
I did as well. I figured out the problem was that you need to equip both talismans at the same time and if you follow the guide you will only have one at the point when you get the Great-Jars Arsenal. Take a break from the guide to kill the first boss of the game at Storm Hill castle: “Margit, the Fell Omen”. Once you defeat him, equip both talismans and you will be back to medium load with weight limit around 64-66.
Edit: never mind, the build is so OP I CAN kill the godskin noble xD Just rot breath him, run around the room and wait for him to roll. Trick him into rolling into a pillar so he's stuck, then do another full rot breath and keep kiting. Eventually he just dies. Can someone help? I am permanently stuck in the volcano. It won't let me teleport because I was sent there by a trap. The unstuck item doesn't work as it sends me back here. The smithing stone jump is patched so it cant be done so I can't get up there. I can't kill the godskin noble because it's way too strong, and I don't have a stonesword key for the door in there. I can't find a grace anywhere, every enemy one-shots me. I am just permanently stuck here. I don't know what to do now.
There's actually another Prayerbook you can get in the Liurnia region called fire monks prayerbook, its found at the Fire Monk outpost on the eastern part of the southern plateau.
SSS7 part, seems like they increased the distance so you can't jump to that ledge. I've tried a few dozen times, running jump, with zero itmes equipped and it doesn't seem remotely possible.
It seems that Somber Stone +7 jump in Volcano Manor was patched unfortunately. They made it impossible to jump onto the ledge despite some claiming to make it after a lot tries.
When you kill the giant dragon you can rest at the nearby grace before it disappears and it'll give you the runes and reset the dragon and you can kill it again and again
@@cupiddle9026 I haven't checked again this patch, but it's pretty easy. I never failed the reset. Just make sure for the last bleed proc that you move down the tail so you have time to get to the grace.
Great guide. One thing that is overlooked is to get back to medium load from the “Great-Jars Arsenal” you need a second talismans slot. You cannot equip both talismans until you defeat the first boss in the game at Storm Hill castle: “Margit, the Fell Omen”. Once you defeat him, you get a second talisman slot. Then you can equip both talismans and you will be back to medium load. With only one slot you will stay heavy load as you need the stats from both talismans to boost you.
Just installed Elden Ring and follow this guide now! its awesome and the beginning has some great frustration with optaining the bloody dagger. TIPP for those trying to get it: get the respawn point in the cave of the river. if you cant enter because of a grey wall (because Nerijus spawned), leave the river by walking back through the bridge and he will despawn. re enter the bridge and Nerijus will not spawn. grab the point in the cave. You have to die once afterwards such that when you enter the river again from the waypoint Nerijus can spawn again.
Wait till you try to get the seal. The level leading up to the boss who drops it is glossed over by the video. However it was THE hardest for me handsdown.
@@yoshyusmc looking forward to it. I may fail 100 times but as a new player of this game I appreciate such a guide and giving rough directions and where to go. Mid times I do exploration myself as this is equaly important for the experience.
@@yoshyusmc That part was tricky to figure out. The rolling machine in particular. I could never figure out what triggered it to advance to the next region. I made it to the guy who drops the seal a few times without the machine behind me and finally did it, but I have no idea what i did differently.
I got the seal first, it was difficult yes. I tried at least 20 times before getting it, but at that point I recognised the pattern which made things easy. But this damn dagger, I always die before the helper hunter spawns. I will try your method, hopefully it helps.
this, I'm doing this build and can't complete the jump. Been trying for like 1.5 hours. Does it still work and if not is there anyway I can get somber smithing stone 7?
This was the best build video I've seen. It made sense, you explained the math, you helped find the items, and drop some dry humor in there to make it not boring
THIS. IS. THE. BEST. BUILD. I've been looking for something like this forever. Thank you for making this video. I always wanted to be a dragon mage. THANK YOU!
Elden ring hint sense last patch... for anyone in volcano manor looking for somber stone 7 there's the one everyone shows by the wheel.. you can still jump to it just turn off all the options in bottom of your camera settings then remove your weapons and dual wield your fist..as you jump use the heavy attack to secure the jump..gl all you Tarnished

you worked so hard of this video i appreciate everything you did and want to say thank you 🙂🙂🙏 you helped me alot 😄 i followed you in every step amazing video ❤️😊
I'm playing it right now and can confirm it's ridiculously good. It might just not be the playstyle you prefer because you need an opportunity to set up the Rot Breath and then you can just kite with your other ranged Incantations until they die. I couldn't make the jump for the 7th stone so I just killed Godskin Noble instead and ran around to get it, pretty easy tbh you just wait for him to do his roll and pin him to a pillar and you get like 2-3 free breath attacks. Also killed Godfr
@@brandoncarter1491 No I gave up on the jump, apparently it's still possible but barely. It's easier to kill Godskin Noble with this build tbh, you just chuck blackflames at him periodically and then when he does the roll thing you just hide behind and tower making him roll into it and you can get two free breath attacks off and then you basically just kite him throwing blackflames when you have an opening and run while the Scarlet Rot slowly kills him. You'll need atleast two instances of Rot to fully kill him though atleast in my experience as the first one will tick him down to about 1/4. After the second instance it's actually better to spam Reduvia's ranged attack to cause blood loss when he's pinned to the tower if you've already applied the second rot.
Can you update for the new expansion Nizar? Testing it.. many of the dragon incantations appear to have been nerfed... or at least I'm not seeing the damage from them and I'm getting knocked out of my casting constantly (72 Poise)
Absolutely quality of a build and better yet, the video itself! Usually, youtubers that upload these thing do at least one of these two: showcase a LOT of spoilers; hide the explanation of combo'ing stuff within gear behind those juicy dmg numbers and that's it. Thank you for avoiding both of these and providing an awesome guide, my guy!
i need to stop watching these guides, all I do is run them and never even got to explore limgrave Anyone knows how this compared to the meteoric katana mage? This one looks awesome but hard to complete and squishy Edit: just spent 2 hours trying to kill this blood finger invasion, giving up on this one build finally succeeded by getting the morning star->mommy dragon->reduvia
Loved your mage build! But THIS is the type of build I've been itching to try. Great work on the guide! Hope there are more of these kinds of videos in the future!!
For the gear part, you can instead get the Bull goat talisman much easier, if you only care about the poise and not the rest of the benefits to the armor. It increases poise by 33%, which means you only need actual 42 poise to get to the threshold discussed in the video. It is located in a cave north of forth faroth (where you kill the dragon for op early game), below the eerdtree. You May need to kill or run past a couple bears to get to the cave. Speaking of bears, that cave is hell, as its a small space with a big rune bear that seems to have a +69 to perception checks. So try and run past it, as the talisman is in the deeper part of the cave towards where the bear is heading. Just run to it and then figure something out. You can kill it slowly but easily with this build tho. Its Just slow to do. After that just equip any decent armor, even the ones from the soldiers of godrick has a total of 47 poise (61 with the talisman, even more than what we were looking for) for a weight of 24.7, way below your heavy load (which if you do the rest of the video Step by step ,your threshold is 36.9), and a lot more combinations of armor for your desired drip.
Eh fun fact if you grab the scale armor from the weeping peninsula vendor and use it with the banished knight head, hands, and legs you can dump radagons soreseal and use great Jars arsenal along with the Roar Medallion with the 9 endurance. Same Poise better defense and stronger breaths. Just make sure you put the 3 points in dex for the reduvia.
This is golden! I made a prophet, but I put her on the shelf because I was struggling with leveling her, even in Limgrave. I'm going to follow this guide, and play the way I want now. Thank you!!!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. Been waiting for this vid! Edit: I'd like to note that it is possible to lose the Dragon Communion Seal. Both myself and the knight died to the chariot, and I saw him drop the item on the ground. Upon returning, however, its not there nor is it anywhere in the dungeon.
@@RioTheGreat100 Right, because a game bugging out and the item likely falling through the floor or bugging to a location that I can't reach is 100% my fault. I guess I better go play something else and contemplate my life choices.
I used this build in my 2nd play through. While it is very powerful and all it is going pretty boring. Just decay and frost the enemy and wait for it to die. Or shoot some lightning from very far. There is no interaction to it. No dodging no rolling no using of ur skills and wits. Visually pleasing build nonetheless.
his sorceress build was awesome when I first started the game. I wanted to switch things and make a faith build.... and surprise surprise, it's the same guy again! this guy is the go to for early op builds :) thanks pal!
Just a note, to get to the old dragon Greyoll, it's better to take the teleporter behind the church of Marika instead of taking the chest trap in the burnt ruins that takes you to the prawn mines.
i try to take 2nd amulet but the 3 invadera dont fall like idiots, just stacked in to the wall sameone knows if is possible kill them in that way on pc?
Well I'm trying this build feb 2024. Ive played elden ring for 5 hrs before trying legit build just to learn controls and stuff. Well, rn im on 3 min mark of the video and it took me 55 min 😂. Ill updated step by step my progress. Update: 4 hrs in and i have talismans, spells, and level 35. Need to work on opening up the map, get memory slots and runes to get bit stronger, also i belive seal is on plus 4 by now.
Did you know you can chain dragon's claw with another breath attack instead of the second claw attack? Particularly useful with placidusax or another incantation that has quick starting damage
I really like your content and hope youll have a mid and late game faith build. Although, im curious to what next outfit will you get for mid and late game to stay in the med load. Im at the point where i now have 2 more talisman slot and there a few talisman that has potential in those slot but i want to stay in the med load with a lot of poise.
i got the second talisman but i did not get medium roll back wonder what i did wrong. i invested the 1 point in dexterity early. and i am wearing the full banished knight set as well
