You are correct it does feel like a heavier quad and with the lower KV motors it doesn't feel as snappy as the 5" evoque. I can speak for the F6X frame though and man it does flips and rolls just fine. I was pulling off acro moves that are pretty much match the F5X Evoque. I think that with the full size gopro mounted, it felt very similar to a 5" freestyle quad with a gopro mounted as well. I definitely agree with you about the Deadcat frame being a bit off when pulling off acro moves, it just doesn't want to corporate at times. Great review brother, good luck on growing your channel in 2022. I'll definitely try to continue to grow my channel right behind ya 😁💪

F5D works perfect tho, no issues, maybe is a tuning issue or maybe can't take the deadcat so far! Deadcat is super convenient for me cause if I wanna fly slow don't have to worry about props in view!

@@Rimzler All a matter of preference and flight style. Either is an excellent choice, I think the tune is spot on for both its just a matter of the configuration causing it not to be as stable as the X when doing aggressive flying. Happy flying brother!

All depends on what battery you’re using. Iflight also recommends lion with this drone. Which battery did you use that felt similar to a 5”?

I love your reviews man and thanks for this one too! Did you fly the f6d with stock rates or what values did you change to? I have nf5ehd still have a hard time learning to adjust rates not only on that quad but generally. Did you set gps rescue as failsafe or just on switch?

Nice video and review! I wonder if that jaw 'glitch' is something on all their new F6D drones, or if it will be random. I was thinking of buying an Iflight sooner or later, but i don't think i would be capable of tuning it properly. (to fix that jaw glitch)

Nice video! Thinking if I should get both a 5" and 7" for travel use or just one 6" for convenience. I mostly just do cinematic flying during travel with some occasional flips but nothing crazy. Would the 6" evoque be able to fly to mountain top too with a Li-ion battery? Would love to see your 5" vs 6" comparison video!

Great review as always! The inverted yaw spin glitching out sure was a shocker. Shouldnt be a problem at all. I fly 7/8" drones and can yaw spin without anything going on like that. Almost looked like it diverted back to angel / horizon mode while doing these moves. Are all Iflight newby presets checked?

I think is because of the deadcat, maybe the double gyro freaking out? It was still in acro tho

Sei proprio lucky di avere cosi bell tempo e colori, da noi gia fa tutto schifo in Ungheria. Great video bro! I'm trying to build my new cinematic rig and I don't know if to make it a 5 inch or 6 inch. I want it to be quite light weight so I've chosen the halorc osiris frame, which has option for 5 or 6 inch arms. I was thinking id get some more flight time and some more top speed (Which would be useful for me chasing cars) with the 6 inch props. But almost all of my batteries are 1100 mah 6s rn so I wonder how long those would fly compared to on a 5 inch.

If is light with 6 inch is gonna be a rocket! You can still use 1100 mAh 6s batteries, they are a little small but if the drone is light it's gonna be super agile

I converted my nazgul 5 v2 to 6 inch. I lowered the center profile to the height on the short standoffs. That way the 6 inch prop pass over the top of the center. And it flies great. Very fast.

Hi great review! I’m trying to decide between this and a chimera for chasing boats. I didn’t see you talk about the range for different battery options. On iflights website it recommends a 6s 1400(8 min flight) and also a 6s 4000 lion but doesn’t say the flight time with the lion. Can you point me in the right direction for some info on flight time efficiency using different batteries? Thanks

A 4000 Li ion flies for 12/15 minutes, but you have much less power available, I don't usually fly long range tho

I'm looking to replace my Titan XL5, and I'm trying to determine if I want the Evoque F5D or F6D. I'm a cinematic flyer, but I also want Mountain Dives and epic Car Chase shots! Would you recommend the F5D or the F6D? I'm not a crazy acro flyer, just power loops and Split S between objects. Lastly what battery are you currently using on the F6D? Thank you!

Still have to make the video about them side by side damn! 5 inch is usually considered the most versatile, 6 is more efficient/ flies faster but acro a bit less good, but for mountain dive and fast chase shots is great for sure, doesn't weight that much more also, i use for both 1300 mAh 6s but for the 6 you can use bigger for sure

Will be around 780g auw with a 1300 mAh 6s, the 6 inch should have a bit more flight time on paper but not much in my tests, probably next week I'm doing a side by side comparison

@@Rimzler in my country there is a new law that drone over 1kg i have to have a spotter with me, and thats nor easy all time, so my chimera 7 is not under 1kg so my thought to do a little frestyle now and then, a cruise up to a little mountain, maybe il give the f6 a try Or maybee f5D and it will do the same ? Because the lipo size will be the same on the frame?

Usually 5 inches are considered more versatile like you should have a 5 before a 6, they are similar tho but i would go with the 5 for my Bias😂 goggles and radio don't come with it but maybe you can find some kits online with everything!

Thank you! I believe 6 inch drones and especially deadcats are hard to tune and not meant for acro, so any super snappy movement is going to freak it out!

Yessir, if you want to do cinematic i suggest the deadcat, with normal flying it is amazing and on rails, can do power loops and dives no problem, just avoid Rubik's cubes and more snappy stuff

@@Rimzler Thanks friend, I opted for the Evoque F5DC, I thought the frame was small enough to hold 1500mah and a full gopro, but the handling of it... sensational. Waiting for the GPS assembly to assess final speed.

what shutter speed did u use and what fps? video from gopro seems like it has bad shutter and bad fps ratio

I don't remember if it was 50 or 60 fps, shutter at 1/100, output at 25 fps

Always use the multiply your fps by 2. So if you film at 120 fps, your shutter should be 1/240, if you film at 30fps, the shutter should be 1/60. Cheers!

Xfire has 4 pins, ground (black wire) , 5v (red wire) , tx and Rx wire, the other colors, iflight gives you a xfire plug with this 4 wires that you need to connect to receiver and drone fc
