I really like the iFlight Mach R5 frame. I did a build using the R5 frame along with a Five33 Lightswitch frame immediately after. The presentation and quality of the TPU and carbon, and the fit and finish of all the parts was 100 times better on the Mach R5. And I think the R5 frame was cheaper than the Five33 frame too!

Heat battery pad before adhesion with hot air gun to make it super sticky. No one is gonna buy the DJI version - strange choice. HDZero would make far more sense

It looks cool, but I don't think that canopy will take much abuse. We've had plastic canopies on BNF racers before and they don't hold up well to crashing into gates. Good that they give you the option to convert it though.

Is the first Mach R5 discontinued then. This one is a complete redesign. It doesn’t have the 7075 CNC center plate and most everything is different.

I have the previous generation Mach R5, now shoehorned with an O3. I'd love to get the new Xing 2207 2050KV motors from the R5 Sport!

I spent over $100 on a set of those motors. On the maiden flight my ESCs exploded and roasted 2 of the motors :( Hard to say if it was the crappy HGLRC AIO or I got a faulty motor from iFlight

@@daniel.pendzich Ouch! I was using T-Motor F60 Pro V 2020KV on the Mach R5 which had the old Beast F7 AIO. Flew nicely. Wanting to try the new iFlight motor with the slightly higher KV...

You need a soldering iron for replacing an arm. It is opposite to easy arm replacing

Only if you want to change the motor. Otherwise just unscrew the motor, there is no need for soldering.

@@Kai-P you can't change arm without soldering because of plastic guards for motor wires that is glued to arm

@@jaz7mutant Well you can either pull them off or cut them open. That has nothing to do with the frame or arm mounting in my opinion. Every frame will have something to secure the wires which you have to redo when changing arms.

bec it's ultralight speedy racing drone. digidal is laggy, heavier and more bulky. Not for racers and can`t fly up to 240km/h

iFlight makes me vomit...one of the most predatory companies in FPV. Just was trying to get some basic print files for the Nazgul XL v6 to modify for a nano cam, and they won't help...they have given their printer exclusive rights to the prints, but they don't sell a nano cam mount...no support for the community and a history of component failures with little to no Quality Control. I wish influencers would stop pushing iFlight. Much love n respect for you Ian, just no love or respect for iFlight after losing thousands of dollars buying their hardware that failed.

I mean, you print professionally so I can’t speak to the level of scale you work with, but a lot of iFlight stuff is high quality gear with a lot of community designed parts. I just haven’t personally had anything to complain about as an end user.

@@rp479 I gave a long list of reasons they are predatory, ways they lock in new pilots and force them to keep rebuying shit when a large portion of what they sell is defective or DOA. I do feel entitled to get working parts when I pay for electronics, and I feel entitled to a replacement or a refund for DOA boards, as you should too. Quality Control and support are important values to factor when choosing an FPV company. That's one issue and you're blending it with another issue: files. No one has to share files for their frames, but if you want to support this DIY market, you should. I've reached out directly to TeamBlackSheep, Chris Rosser, Catalyst Machine Works, T-Motor, GepRC, Armattan, ImpulseRC, Flyno (RIP), DQuad, KinFPV, BQE, Ummagawd, and more, and every one of these companies is willing to help pilots, sharing files to support builders. Doesn't matter if the commercials tell you that iFlight is your friend, they are not, but you can prop them up if you think they're worthy of your support.

Turn your radio up to full power to see if the vertical lines getting worse as I would move the rx and rc antenna to get clean video your rx is causing those vertical lines
