That's a great question. The first week I had an old rain sensor hooked up to the Smart ET Schedule and it never watered my lawn. I disconnected the rain sensor and set the Smart ET Schedule to water whenever it felt the need. Each day it varied the time it was watering each zone. The cumulative time all 4 zones ran varied from 25 minutes to 57 minutes. This meant that it was adjusting based on the rain forecast, but it never seemed to skip a day completely even if we did get some rain. So, then I switched to Smart ET every other day schedule. This seems to be the perfect setting for me. It still varies how long my lawn is watered, but it's limiting the activity of the sprinklers to 3-4 days per week. I hope that helps!
@@HandzforHire Thank you for the thoughtful response! I just installed my Imolaza and haven’t set the Smart schedule yet. I plan to run a more frequent less time schedule for overseeding Fall, so maybe I’ll try the Smart ET next spring.
