I agree. TKOR has been catering to adolescents and junior makers for a while now. "Keep it real" was replaced by "Keep it fun". TheBackyardScientist is killing TKOR in views per video. He posts fewer videos, but has more in-depth content that isn't geared for younger people who possess almost zero attention span. You know, the people that used to watch TKOR.

@@boko06 exactly, which is why it's so obviously _not_ just water. When doing science experiments and not calling them "magic" you're supposed to be up front about what you're describing, even if it's food coloring.

2nd fun fact english wasn't first spoken language. It's debated that Sanskrit or Tamil is the first.

@@Chino-Kafu there's really people that think English was the first....? smh. England didn't even exist until 927AD, and English language itself is based on multiple other languages, that in turn were each derived from older languages, that were themselves derived from even older languages. Logically the first spoken communication of humans would have been in Africa so highly doubt it was Sanskrit or Tamil first.

@@Chino-Kafu maybe you are referring to written language? writing came a long time after spoken language, and due to that fact it's pretty impossible to determine when/where the first spoken language originated other than by physiological means such as when was it first possible for humans to make complex sounds

For anyone thinking of trying woosh bottles at home; be careful. As a kid I had a homemade pulse jet detonate when I used a container that couldn't take the pressure of efficiently mixed fuel. Scared birds across my neighborhood and myself lol.

Yes these things can burst or sometimes shoot burning fuel onto everything. Anyone who wants to give it a shot: a) Don't use glass bottles, and b) Make sure there's not a bunch of alcohol at the bottom when you go to light it. You hear stories about people getting sent to the doctor by these things and it's usually that second mistake that does it.

Don't ask...Ten High bottles in the late sixties/early seventies had a certain shape that when empty, a match at the top would produced a perhaps one second whistle that increased in pitch as the remaining alcohol burned down.

If you let the alcohol-coated containers sit for a while before igniting the vapors, the air and alcohol vapor will get mixed much more, and your water cooler jug might even jump off the table surface in rebound after a satisfying "whooomp!"

Notice that the water shot up to within a few inches of the bottom of the cylinder.. but then the weight of the water overcame the low pressure area and began to fall until the low pressure area, weight of the water column, AND ambient pressure all equalized. The weight of the water was not talked about but you can see it be a factor in that one experiment.
